We (my husband and I) interviewed four other garage door companies and needed to be more satisfied with the bids we were getting. All of these others were missing something in the bids they gave us. So we held off deciding because we weren't feeling good about it. Then Aegis Garage Doors LLC hung a flyer on our door. My husband was ready to give up and settle for one of the others, but I was not. So, I emailed Aegis Garage Door LLC to see what they could do. And I am happy I did!
Aegis Garage Door LLC answered my email very promptly and asked a few questions, which I answered. We went back and forth a couple of times. Ultimately, I couldn't believe the pricing, and it was for everything I wanted. Then, I invited them to the house and confirmed everything in the email. Ultimately, we ordered two new upgraded garage doors, one double and one single, with all upgraded hardware. Both the garage doors had insulated windows. The best part about this is that the double door had large windows, and the single door had small windows. (I was told by another company that could not be done!) We also ordered two garage door openers; one of ours was 30 years old. The other companies only gave us pricing on two of the same garage door openers. We didn't need two mega garage door openers; no one came up with the solution that Aegis Garage Doors did! They could put a more minor garage door opener on the single door and a larger one on the double door, which saved us money. Now, let's talk about money! I was quoted over $20K for the same equipment for all this "upgraded" equipment by another company. Aegis Garage Door LLC came in well under $10K! We are ecstatic!
Throughout all this, Chris and Logan were professional, informative, kind, and the best attitude we have ever received from professionals. When installation day came, I was impressed by how well they worked together. How neat, careful, organized, and diligent they were. We have had a lot of professional work on ten properties we have owned, and Logan and Chris were the best we have ever had working on our homes. They were respectful of the property and our time. They never made a mess! They kept everything well organized when taking down the old and putting up the new, and when they left, we had two new garage doors and NO mess!
