Google5The customer service was great. Someone came to my home the next day. New garage doors were installed the next week. Just had an outdoor keypad installed by them. The repairmen (Eli and Jose) were courteous, timely, good communicators and a pleasure to work with.

Yelp3EDIT: 7/10/22: I am updating my review to 3 stars based on Garage Doors 4 U's prompt response. My husband called and reported the issue. We were informed that the company relies on subcontractors to get work done when they are busy, and they sent a new subcontractor who didn't really know what he was doing (or what the payment policies were). They did refund us the $400 and came out to fix the issue with how the remote was installed. We appreciate the quick response but I left the review at 3 stars as it does not negate the scary evening we spent wondering if we had been scammed and quickly resetting all our codes since we felt unsafe.

Original review: It appears my husband was scammed by this company today. We needed a simple motor repair and they insisted that the entire motor was broken and that we would either need to wait a month for parts or pay $800 for a new garage door system now. My husband agreed because he didn't know what else to do. Then, when my husband was presented with the receipt to sign after the 30 minute repair, the technician told him it would be $1200. $1200!! For 45 minutes of work and a $190 system we could have bought online. My overwhelmed husband signed and we are trying to dispute the charge, but I cannot recommend this company and insist you look elsewhere. They also told my husband they would be there between 8am and noon and arrived at 2pm.

Google5Finally, I found an honest company that does high quality garage door service. These guys from Garage Doors 4 U Loveland replaced my garage door and provided me with a fair price for it too! Am happy!

Yelp1I am really disappointed with my service from this company. I initially called them about a month ago when my door opener wasn't working. They set up an appointment for the following week. The tech, Marc, was on time and friendly. He said it was an easy fix, and he was out of there in just a few minutes. Since my openers are old, he told me the 3 price points of the new ones, for when they have to be replaced at some point. While he was there, I asked him about remotes since my house only came with one remote for one door, and no remote for the other. He said he had some he could sell me, and they were $55 each. I thought it was a little pricy but he said that if I got them, it would save me that amount down the road because when I eventually had to buy new openers, I could use those remotes. So I went ahead and bought two. He left, and immediately the opener still didn't work; doing the exact same thing. I called, and of course it was going to take another week for them to come out again on the following Friday. I waited all day and he never showed up. I finally got ahold of him at 7:00PM and he said something came up, and he would come the next day. The next day he called in the afternoon and said something came up again, and he couldn't come until the following Thursday. At this point I was starting to get frustrated. He came on Thursday and said that the problem wasn't fixable (which was odd, because he previously said that it happens all the time and was an easy fix). But I agreed to have him put on a whole new opener. When he was done, he gave me the invoice and had raised the price by $50 since he had given me prices just two weeks earlier. He thought I wouldn't notice, but after having some words with him he agreed to give it to me at the price he had quoted, all while making it sound like I was being unreasonable. As we were having that discussion, I noticed two more remotes sitting there and asked him where they came from. He informed me that all openers come with two free remotes. Which means he absolutely lied to me when he told me I would save the $110 from the remotes I had just purchased by not having to buy any when the opener was eventually replaced. I obviously wouldn't have had to buy any anyway since all openers come with two! The two he had sold me literally had not been touched, since the garage door never worked since he had left them there. But, he wouldn't take them back and give me a refund because he said that's against company policy. So, he had lied to me to make the sale and screw me out of $110. So, three things he did that were shady: Raised the price, didn't show up twice, and lied to me about the remotes. I have tried several times to call the manager and just let him know what happened. I have repeatedly been told that he will call me the next day, but he has never called.

Yelp5I just had Lazaro, the owner come out today. My garage door spring broke this morning. Lazaro said he'd be there between 12:50-1pm. He was here at 12:45pm, came in looked at it, gave me a very reasonable estimate, replaced it and luvricated my second door for free. Was done in 30 minutes. Even asked for a blanket to protect my car glass as the garage door couldn't be opened and he didn't want the glass of the car damaged. VERY PROFESSIONAL, on time, great service, competent, fast and efficient. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
