Google5Precision (Brandon) responded timely re: my broken garage door. Brandon troubleshot my garage door system and offered options. After I chose to repair the existing garage door system, Brandon used specialty tools, parts, and knowledge to efficiently repair. And since I was interested, he explained what he was doing each step of the repair. I highly recommend Brandon (Precision).

Google5We recently had a spring for our garage door break in the middle of the night. After reading the reviews for Precision Door Service of Fort Wayne, we made an online appointment for the next morning. The online appointment process was user friendly and I was given multiple options for times and days. We made the appointment online at 2:30pm and chose the next morning 8am-12pm. We received a call 20 minutes prior to our scheduled time and our technician (Jared Essig) arrived promptly at 8am. We are so pleased with the excellent customer service he provided. Upon arrival Jared did an initial inspection and communicated to us the Precision process. He would do a complete inspection of the entire door system and then walk us through his findings. Jared was extremely knowledgeable and honestly communicated the results of the inspection, detailing the recommended repair and the function of each part. He then made an estimated invoice of the suggested and essential repairs with multiple part options. We sat down and went over the list. Jared explained the cost, warranties and lifespan of each part option available. He also explained payment options and price quotes for any repairs we may want at a later time. After selecting what we wanted to move forward with, Jared completed all the repairs and once again walked us through everything. The whole appointment lasted an hour and half. We are beyond happy with the customer service, professionalism and workmanship of Precision Door Service thanks to Jared!

Google5Our garage door opener was 23 years old and has been on the fritz for a few months. We made a same day appointment and Matthew our service tech gave us a 40 min heads up. He was very thorough and laid out our options. He was not pushy and helped me feel empowered to pick what worked for us. He also showed us how to do everything we needed. Very pleased!

Google5Very pleased! I messaged the service and left a message on Christmas. They set up an appointment right away. The next morning at 10am we had a gentleman arrive. He was friendly, informative and thorough. He walked us through our options/pricing/etc. James did a great job! Highly recommend them.

Google5Precision Door Service is a very easy company to deal with. I called to explain issues I was having with my outdoor keypad and within 24 hours had a technician here. Chase was very professional and completely diagnosed and explained the issue. Garage door opener was installed promptly and professionally. Before any work was done I was told the exact cost of the repair. Chase was very polite and easy to deal with.

Google5I had the pleasure of working with Cody to help us decide on the door options, followed by having David and Austin from Precision Door install my new CHI dark walnut stamped carriage house garage doors. They did an INCREDIBLE job on the install and I could not be more pleased with how they turned out! Everyone I worked with throughout the process answered all my questions and concerns with tying in my existing openers and were very friendly and polite. I highly recommend Precision Door, they are true professionals! My garage is at least 10 to 15 degrees warmer! Before and after pictures are below. Highly recommended!

Google5If I could give more than a five star I would! Precision door I can not thank you enough for what you done for our family. When I called this morning I needed help getting my door sensors aligned so my door would work when Brandon the tech got here I learned my entire door needed fixed as it was a hazard and Brandon went above and beyond. Our family is going through a lot with the passing of my mom and our daughter being very very sick and after hearing her little story the out pouring love precision door showed our family we will never feel like thank you is enough! If u ever have any door problems precision door is top notch who u need to call. Again thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Angi5I am extremely satisfied with the services Shaun provided on my overhead garage doors. I put up with ill-fitted doors that were installed on a new home over five years ago. On numerous occasions, I was informed by the builder and a major overhead door company that installed them that there was nothing to be done to get the doors to fight without gaps. Shaun was able to get these doors working perfectly. The icing on the cake was his outstanding work ethic, personality, and outstanding customer service ethic. Angi5I would like to say that the experience with your business was extremely satisfying and uplifting. The woman who took my call on Thursday was incredibly polite and reassuring. It is nerve-wracking when the garage door machinery falls apart, and stops working. So, this type of consideration is very helpful and comforting. Furthermore, the technician who came to our house on Friday, Shaun, was exactly on time, and very professional. He was very considerate and sympathetic in explaining our options, and the implications of choosing the options. I also think his work at replacing our equipment was masterful and professional. Angi5The installer was very helpful, he explained everything and showed me what needed replaced and why. I was also given options as to what to do and the prices were explained with each option. We had them install a new opener, new cables, new springs, replace the rollers and all the bearings. Very professional and friendly. I highly recommend! Yelp5Again great service. Our door stopped opening and closing. Called and requested Aaron Jones again. He called around 30 before arrival time and he did come in that time frame. Thank you for that. Very courteous, friendly, AND he did the social distancing too. No one here is sick and neither was he, but still staying safe for himself AND the customer. We really appreciated that. He fixed the problem and all is working well again. He did reinerate the need for a new door ( which it does need replaced, 30 year old at that) and we told him we will certainly call him when we can do it. Will be a customer of theirs for our garage door needs in the future. Thank you again Aaron Jones, not only for great service, but being a kind person. For some reason this is a different address. Angi5I have now used Precision twice, and I will use them again next time. They are timely, professional, and give a detailed estimate before proceeding. They will also look the entire door system over, and provide feedback on any other areas that may require service in the near future. I like to keep things in good working order, and would prefer planned maintenance as opposed to unplanned breakdowns. Precision does a great job at this. Angi5Excellent work and professionalism! I sent an email one evening requesting a quote. I received a callback the next morning and a time was scheduled for an estimate. I can't remember the person's name (it wasn't Jared) who came out for the estimate. He was very respectful and gave me multiple options for either repair of my current door or replacement. I decided on the replacement and he said that is what he would have chosen but Precision has the customer decide for themselves without "pushing" one option over another. I was impressed. One week later, I was notified the door was in and the work was scheduled. I was told I would be called the morning of installation (I was) and was told David would be out in 15 minutes. David came and introduced himself and explained the work he would be doing. He was very respectful and professional. When he was finished, he explained in detail what had been done and how to operate the door if the electricity goes out. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs garage door repairs or a new installation. Services Rendered: Garage door replaced

Yelp3I am not happy. I called around to get quotes for garage door springs to be replaced. Theirs was the lowest and they seemed to have good reviews per Google. I was quoted on the phone for two garage door springs with installation for $223.60 (exact change a bit off 60 some odd cents) WITH a lifetime guarantee, I even confirmed that this included a lifetime guarantee they said yes it did. The technician has been great, showed up early, called ahead of time, worked quickly to look over the garage door but then came back with a quote of well over $300 for the springs, over $500 to have additional work on the door, and for the lifetime guarantee it would be over $600!! I ended up going with "standard springs" which was the price I was quoted but with only a 3 year guarantee. Beware of calling this company for a quote they will mislead you! Again the technician did a good job but the company itself is the problem. I have called the company about this and they are supposed to review the call I placed for the quote and the manage is supposed to call me back. I will update if/when they do. UPDATE: The manager returned my call he says he will review the phone call and will honor what I was told on the phone and give me a lifetime warranty on the springs we purchased. TIP: Have them send you a quote in writing via email. Service technician was very good. Would recommend using them with caution on phone quote.
