I wish I could give 10 stars. Alan is fantastic. One of my 20 year old garage door springs finally broke in dramatic fashion. I called and made an appointment during a snow storm and he was at my house less than 48 hours later. He showed up on time, was communicative and came ready to work in Winter temps that were in the mid-teens. We decided to do all 4 springs (2 garage doors) and the price was more than reasonable. We chatted the whole time he was working. He has amazing recall and is a great story teller of times on the job throughout his 35+ years in this profession. Don't shop around, call this family owned small business and thank me later. Fully endorse East Coast Doors. Fully.
I had a spring and cable break on my garage door. It wasn't an emergency so they came out the next day to fix it and the gentleman suggested another repair as well. They also lubricated the wheels and the door is operating better than it ever has. The team was very friendly and professional. The price was also very reasonable to me. Definitely recommend!

Alan was wonderful to work with, he really knows his craft and clearly takes a lot of joy and pride in his work. We love our doors, really love them. They are quiet and work so smoothly. Cathy and Alan were fantastic. Had an issue with my garage door coming off the tracks and not closing all the way on a Friday and we were not able to get home until after work. Alan came by early evening at a very reasonable cost and got the door back on the tracks - in addition to performing several other necessary maintenance activities he noticed while he was here! Called East Coast with a bit of an emergency with our garage door. They showed up within hours of my call and fixed the problem. Upon arrival, they were highly professional and thorough. If you are in the Frederick County area and you ever have a garage door problem, these are the guys you call. First class experience. If I have a future issue, or need my garage door replaced I know who we are calling. Don't waste your time calling around, just give these guys a call. A+ operation.
Called Alan on a wednesday and he was able to repair my garage door 1st thing friday morning! This is the 2nd time hes done work for us. The 1st time he replaced the lift motors on both our doors. I called East Coast Door and they set me up an appt that same week. I told them the problem and we agreed the garage door opener would need to be replaced. Allen installed the new unit and we love it. So much quieter! We highly recommend East Coast Door! Services Rendered: We needed a new garage door opener.
Alan was excellent. Very professional and very skilled. He had given me a ballpark estimate when we talked on the phone, but once here we agreed to do additional work on the doors. Had that not been done, his estimate was right on target. Alan repaired 1 garage door and strengthened 2 others. He replaced the springs on 1 garage door, repaired the garage door opener eye on 1 door, lubricated the garage door tracks and adjusted all garage door openers. I was very pleased with the work done. Services Rendered: I called East Coast Doors cold from the phone book. Kathy took the call and was very informative as to Alan's experience and that he was very good at garage door repair. The garage door had come down on the tailgate of my vehicle and bent the door. I was concerned that the door was beyond repair and asked how the service charge was handled, if the door could not be repaired. Kathy was very nice and had Alan call me. We went over what the problem was and he advised that if he believed he could not fix the door that he would not charge the service charge and provide an estimate to replace the door. I was very appreciative of this approach and agreed to the service call.
