A good friend referred Scott to me after we had a bad experience with another company. Scott let me know how much it would cost to replace our broken springs, the price was totally fair. He came the next day on a Sunday and repaired our door. He is professional, polite, and left no traces behind. He's our go to company for garage door service now!

Scott with American River Overhead Door has been serving our community for many years. We just installed out own driveway gate which we had wired most of it ourselves and then hired Scott to come out and wire a few extras that we couldn't figure out, plus he went over our wiring and corrected anything that was needed. He also programed the opener and the remote controls. He was timely, professional, and reasonably priced.

Shoutout to Scott from American River Overhang Door! We moved into our house in the summer and our garage door was having trouble closing after the big storm a couple months ago. I finally called the number that was posted in the garage, and Scott delivered with fast and professional service, as promised in the tag. Super friendly and honest.

Scott was wonderful and did a great job adjusting the springs on our 13-year old garage door and installing a new opener. I generally do most repairs and maintenance on our home myself but quickly realized a garage door is tricky and you need the right tools and knowledge to safely get everything dialed in. Scott made it look easy and had it all done in about 90 minutes. If your garage door/opener is in need of help, call Scott! You won't be disappointed!

I had a fantastic experience with American River Overhead Door! Scott was super professional and efficient - a true craftsman. We called him in to have a look at the garage door lifter in the (very old) house we recently bought, which was only partially functioning and making scary noises every time it opened. We asked if Scott could repair it; he said, "sure," quoted us a reasonable price, then pointed out that the lifter we had was 23 years old. We asked him how long that type of lifter usually lasted, and he said 17 years. He didn't pressure us at all, but presented us a choice: spend money to repair an old lifter, or buy an up-to-date one. The price he quoted for parts and labor seemed totally reasonable; in the end, I think we got way more than our money's worth. Scott re-hung the door (he immediately spotted that it was crooked, which was why it sounded so scary - but he told us the door itself was really good quality), installed everything, re-routed the wiring in a much more aesthetically pleasing way, and gave us a primer on how everything worked. He was so patient and pleasant, and he seemed to genuinely enjoy our excitement upon having what I call a "grown-up" garage door lifter. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking to have a garage door lifter repaired or replaced - Scott really knows his business!

I wrote a review back in 2018 when American River Overhead Door installed our new garage door - loved it. Just wanted to provide an update and mention the great service we've received over the last couple of years. Once to install a special seal due to a not-quite-level garage extension, another time for some repairs when lightening wreaked havoc and another time to replace the seal and do some related adjustments after the concrete was replaced. They do great work and charges are very reasonable.

Scott rocks! Great to have somebody you can count on. My 20+ year-old garage door started making a loud clunking sound when it would open & close. I saw that the aluminum had begun to break around one of the hinges and wondered if it was going to be an expensive problem. Not for Scott! 90 minutes after I called, my garage door was all fixed!

Scott did a great job installing a standard garage on our Cam. Park home. He let me know of some different options, and ended up installing an opener that mounts on the vertical wall, to the side of the overhead door so that there is less material attached to the ceiling. Very clean and very sturdy installation. I paid him $1700 for compete install, including tear down/haul away, weather stripping and complete job done. I felt it was a reasonable price. Great service and left with letting me know to call should there be any issues, which there has not been, two-months into new door. House stays much warmer with double layered insulated door.

I called American River Overhead Door on 8/6/2016 for an estimate on an opener for my commercial roll up door to my shop.. I had to leave a message, but minutes later Scott Lynch called me back we scheduled a time for the next day to meet... Scott was on time (refreshing) we discussed a few options for my roll up door and also for my gate, settled on a plan and a price and date. Scott returned as promised on 8/12/2016 and did the job in a timely manner even with me bugging him and talking his ear off... Scott is very professional and I recommend him highly for any garage door or gate opener work you might have.

My husband interviewed several door companies for his shop doors and his final decision was with Scott of American River Overhead Door. Scott is a one-man-show and we were fine with that. In fact, we appreciated he was. Scott was fair with his pricing, returned calls when he said he would and was prompt with his appointments. Scott has an excellent work ethic and we would highly recommend giving him a call for any door needs you may have. Our doors look great and we're very pleased overall.
