From the time we called to tell them we needed somebody to come look at our garage door until the time it was repaired was less than 2 hours. The price was fair and the service was excellent.
Apparently the owner was the guy who I had to deal with in traffic today. I was changing lanes behind a car with a handicap tag and I had room before turning. The owner was flying down the road and the space to change lanes closed quickly but I made the lane switch. He zoomed up on my tail, blasted his horn, practically stopped in the road to roll his window down and drop "f bombs" and flip the bird at me with my kids in the car. This is the type of human being I'd NEVER do business with. He's got a temper so beware dealing with him!!!

The spring broke on my door and my car was in my garage. So I was stuck unless I called an Uber. I called Butler at 9am. He was able to come out 30 minutes later. Replaced the spring with a better more durable one than I had. Bruce Butler was GREAT. He had my door fixed in under an hour.

I could not be more pleased with Butler Garage Door Co. We had a problem with the automatic opener that Bruce installed several months ago -- something involved with the integrity of the wiring. He came out promptly and fixed it, refusing any payment. This is a hard-working, honest enterprise. I would recommend them highly.

An individual who provides good service at a fair price. A rarity these days. My gears had stripped out in my garage door opener. I called a couple of places that have flyers in local Valpack and they all were overpriced. Mr Butler came out, fixed my opener (while I was out) and left his bill. Good old fashioned treatment. On 8/29/2016, Mr Butler showed up promptly at nine AM as promised and installed the door we had picked out with the appropriate design work. By 11:30 he was done and the new door and opener operate smoothly and quietly. His fee was exactly what he quoted, no add-ons! We are very pleased with Butler Door and would certainly recommend them to anyone needing a new or replacement door and/or opener. Mr Butler was very pleasant and courteous to work with. We are very satisfied. Services Rendered: We had carpenter Dan Lavash build us two car garage. Impeccable work. He recommended Butler Door to install the garage door. Mr. Butler came out around 8/22/2016 to look over the garage and advised Dan how he wanted the woodwork around the door to be. Dan took care of this and painted everything since once the door was up that would be difficult to do.

Called for service, and they were at our house within 2 hours. Bruce Butler and his wife were very courteous and professional. They do not normally service our area, but came out anyway. He weighed our door and recommended a heavier spring. I had added insulation to the door a few years back, and did not realize the weight of the door had increased. We inquired about lifecycle of the door, and received good feedback on its wear and use. No extra parts or services were offered. Total time of service was about 30 minutes. Services Rendered: Assessed garage door issue. Replaced broken door spring.
Bruce came out because our door had stopped functioning. He gave us two brand new doors for a very reasonable price and they looked great! A week later one of the doors had trouble closing all the way (this happened with our old door, too- due to faulty construction when our house was first built). Bruce found the problem and fixed it and he even programmed our garage door opener for us all for free! We highly recommend his services to everyone!
Garage door broke on Thursday morning. I forgot to call about it until friday afternoon. Mrs. Butler call me right back and made an appointment for the following morning. Saturday Mr. Butler was in and out in less than an hour. Couldn't be happier with the service. Services Rendered: replaces garage spring, cleaned up / removed old garage door hardware, reset mechanisms, and verified balance of door.
It was fine. I had to call him back a couple of times but other than that, it was fine and it working. A lot of it was crazy. He was not personable at all. The first time he didn't even talk to me. It was good that he got it done and he didn't charge the other two times that he came. He was so professional that he didn't talk. Services Rendered: I used Butler Garage Door because my garage door wouldn't open and close. He figured out that the sensors were not picking up because something hit the sensor and turned it to the street.
This morning, I found that my garage door barely opened. On Angie's list I found Butler Garage Door Company. I gave them a call at 830 this morning and to my surprise, Mr. Butler said he would be able to assess the door between 1100 and 1pm, TODAY. He called at 11am and said he would be over in 15 minutes. He made it in 10 minutes, he was not punctual, but EARLY! He assesed the door and found a few problems but most noticeably the broken coil. He gave me an estimate and I was pleasantly surprised to find that he had replacement coils in the back of his truck. No need for him to go off and buy the replacement parts. Now, I was able to talk to him while he worked and observing him you could tell he knew his craft. I was so impressed with Bruce, that I mentioned I would ask him to come back to install a newer quieter garage door opener. He told me what he recommended and I said maybe he could come next week but he said he could do it now since he had all the stuff needed. He said he carries all this stuff just in case. This tells me this man has been doing this for a while, knows what he is doing and is prepared. I could not recommend Mr. Butler enough. He did a great job and is an honest man. Services Rendered: Broken spring coils replaced. Garage door wheel placed back in rail. Installation of a new garage door opener. Installation of a new outdoor mounted keypad garage opener. Reprogramming of car and remote garage door openers.
I called Mr. Butler in the morning, he immediately answered my call and came out that afternoon. Called to let me know he was on his way. Not only fixed the resistance problem, but also oiled the door, etc. Services Rendered: Garage door would not stop if there was resistance. I am selling my home & this was something the home inspector said needed fixing.
