Devin and Chuck did an excellent job! They provided me with a temporary fix until they could return with a long term solution. Their focus on making sure all aspects of the door spring replacement was done with utmost professionalism. They also educated me on how to take care of the springs. I could not be more pleased! Very efficient installation. Christian was here on time, removed the old garage door, installed the new one and cleaned up all the debris. He was very pleasant and helped me pair the garage door opener to my car. He is a very good employee and an asset to your company. GRP

Devon and Chuck went over and above to ensure the doors were installed correctly. They exhibited expertise and precision and went the extra mile, when it was discovered that the wood framing around the doorway hand warped and pulled away. They assisted with reinforcement by screwing it together as I clamped it in place, prior to installing the weather seal. Although not as quiet as I anticipated, they are certainly quieter than what I had before. Is there a process for an after-installation inspection / adjustment to be performed? I would be interested in that. Things can change in the days following an installation of this sort. Thank you for a quality product, however! Before and after photos.

Tony just left my house after installing a new door opener. He was replacing an older unit that could no longer be repaired. He called prior to coming out to let me know he was on his way and how long it would take him. I left him alone but checked on him a couple times to see if he needed anything. His work area was neat and he kept he the garage clean. After he finished, he cleaned up and even swept the area. He then went over the workings of the unit, making sure each remote was working properly. Definitely ask for Tony!

A nice repair guy came to my home from Garage Door Specialists in Morganton, NC to take down old extension spring, and reset cable and torsion spring on one garage door and take off an old weather seal and replace with a new one (I had purchased) for a 2nd door. Entire job was labor. I was happy with the very polite and knowledgeable repairman, his assessment, and job done. I take off one star on this rating though, as their office didn't seem to want to offer even a ballpark estimate for the repairs prior to coming out, and after the job was completed my bill/receipt showed no breakdown & transparency of "costs" for each repair....just one flat cost. My final cost was just over $170 for only labor, no parts, and about 45-50 minutes arrival to leaving. Some surrounding garage repair places quoted me an additional whopping fee to just come out to my home, so I don't know if Garage Door Specialist charged me a travel fee, (as they are located within 10 minutes of my home), but I do know there was no mention of such a fee when I called for services, nor was it specifically listed or written on the bill. The repairman called into his headquarters after the job was completed and gave a verbal breakdown of the repairs and time to a person in the office. I paid the repairman "by check" after the job was completed. Had I chose to pay by credit card GDS would have charged me a 3% fee for a credit card payment. I hope this review helps someone when seeking this kind of service and repair.

In 2022, our double garage door was damaged when someone near and dear didn't realize it opened only halfway. The technician came promptly and repaired the track, replaced the broken hinges, oiled and adjusted the tension. The cost was very, very reasonable. Today, I called because we needed help opening the door due to power failure. My husband had recent heart surgery, and I have back problems. The owner was in the area and came quickly to lift it for us. I highly recommend them. As you can see, it is a large, heavy wooden door.

Very nice company to work with and a well stocked showroom with doors to look at and lay hands on, which was important to us. Kara Bassett was extremely helpful in the selection and ordering process. Robert came out and measured and looked at the job initially and was so friendly and nice. Cori and Chuck were prompt when showing up for installation calling to let us know when they would arrive. They were both so personable. They were very knowledgeable of how to do the installation and took measures to get all the panels to match up. At the end of the project they showed us how everything works and made sure we were completely happy before leaving. We love the quality of the doors and the competency of the employees at this company. Could not be more pleased with the product or the service. Would definitely recommend them. Susan Taylor

They were very thorough and answered any questions I had from scheduling my appointment to installation of the new spring from technician Jim Brogley. Jim was quick and efficient and made sure my door was lubed and working properly before he left. The Garage Door Specialists were very courteous, professional, and punctual. When I made a request for an estimate, they came to my house as scheduled. I never felt pressured to purchase anything. They made no attempts to get me to purchase more expensive doors. They gave me a very specific estimate of costs and labor. When the door arrived, they installed as promised on the day requested.
