Horrible. No doors and sent to bankruptcy court. Lost 6500 deposit and fortunately, paid through my visa and they went after the deposit. Do NOT use this company as they are in bankruptcy!!!!

After waiting for my doors for 8 months, this company has declared bankruptcy. I never received my doors or my deposit. The company has directed me to their lawyers who have never responded to my requests. I have found another Garage Door Guy in Salida with outstanding delivery and customer service.

We use American Overhead Door for our subdivision gates. This particular transaction was the purchase of more gate clickers. AOD sourced them a competitive price and delivered them right to us!

Eric did a great job found the problem very quickly and resolved it. it was a loose wire behind the control panel. It wasn't properly tightened and he wrote it up as warranty as it should be. i also reminded him about the door window grids who i ordered multiple weeks ago that the sun has broken. Eric said he would look into it. thank you Eric

Been trying for 14 months to get an answer on the status pof the garage door we ordered for our client. After numerous phone calls and emails I have been repeatedly ignored and not given any information o the status of our order. This company has taken our deposit but has not finished the installation and will not return phone calls or emails. Communication is horrible with this company and I highly recommend you do not use them.

The spring on my garage door broke. I called American Overhead Door and got a detailed breakdown of time and charges. The receptionist gave a service date soon after my call, which was nice. The technician was able to temporary repair the spring. He was personable, answered my questions and detailed what would happen next. I thought I'd be waiting a week for the permanent repair, which was fine with me. I got a call from AOD within a couple days , asking if the next day would be OK for that repair. That was great! The second technician was right on time, as was the first one, was just as personable as the first, completed the replacement in a short time and was in his way. Payment was convenient and the texts prior to the technicians arriving was a great procedure! I would recommend American Overhead Door for any garage door issues.

Salesman Jarod took my deposit money and said the job for 3 residential garage doors would be done in 6 weeks. After 47 emails and 32 phone calls American Overhead door could not tell me when the job would start. Escalated to the sales manager Ryan. After a dozen emails and phone calls he could not tell me when the job would start. Asked me to call the owner, Gary. Gary would never answer his phone so I left left several messages. He never called back. Finally after 14 months of no action and frustration, I demanded my deposit money back, which I received. The refund process was the only smooth part of the entire interaction with American Overhead door. Do not use this company.
