I had a new opener installed. Anthony was the technician and was extremely professional. He worked quietly, carefully and efficiently. He explained everything about the new opener when he finished and answered all questions. Highly recommend asking for him. Extremely professional.

After reading some of these reviews I was hesitant to even call seeing that I am renting the home. I talked to a lady about a new lock for garage door. Carrie checked stock and returned rather quickly with a price. Suggested that I try to install the lock myself rather than pay for installation mentioning the holiday season approaching. Carrie could not have done anything better. I appreciate it. When picking up the lock Whitley was a great help. Explained the lock and process of how it worked. Excellent job these ladies are doing. I recommend highly. Thanks

Varney Door Co came highly recommended by many I talked to about having a new garage door installed after mine broke. The staff was great and they were able to get me a quote and had a new door they had in stock installed in a week! I will definitely recommended them to others and will be calling if I have any problems in the future (hopefully not for awhile though ). Thank you Varney Door team!!

Mike and his team were extremely professional, courtesy, and helpful. We were coordinating getting a new garage door on our home before we moved into the house. We were 4 + hours away when making the decisions and while the door was installed. It could have been a difficult situation but Mike put our concerns to rest and made the process very easy. Don't trust this company. After a second opinion I discovered the technician misdiagnosed my garage door problem. It felt like a blow and go. He was at my house for 6 minutes. When I called to discuss my issue after paying the $75 service call, the owner Mike Varney was very defensive, told me his technician was right and I was wrong. The owner told me not to call back and hung up on me. They don't stand behind their work and obviously don't care about their customers!

I was a content customer. Using them at more than one residence. And recommending to family and friends. I will no longer do that. And I will actually bring them up as who NOT to use. I had suspicions they over charged for time. I couldn't prove it. When I did at my new residence, they did NOTHING to correct it. I noted the times the gentleman was working and the 25 minutes he was 'breaking' in my driveway. I was charged for that time. I provided pictures and the times the employee was at my house to the owner. I called twice. No one would ever get back to me about being over charged. The work done is good quality. I am both disappointing with Varney Door and Liftmaster on this job. I had asked several friends about garage door openers and chose Liftmaster as it was supposed to work with my home security system. I researched openers from Liftmaster and thought I knew what I was getting. I found that Varney was the installer locally and called to ask them to order the opener. They said it would take two weeks to get and as I was going out of tow the following week, that was not an issue. I call to confirm that the opener had arrived and they scheduled installation the following Monday. They called about 8:30 to tell me the installer would be there in about 30 minutes. He did arrive in the scheduled time -- I know because my dogs act as an early warning system -- but he sat in his truck smoking and talking on his phone for 10 minutes before he ever approached my home. The first thing he did was ask to use my bathroom!! I am a coffee drinker so I know how it can run through you but after 5 minutes I know he was doing more than taking a leak!! He got to installing the opener but had some trouble getting the outside keypad to program. I read the instructions and got it working. He noticed that the door seemed to be binding but didn't do anything to correct that. I asked him about connecting that to my security system and he said he didn't know anything about that!! I took the remote to my car to program the Homelink panel in tow of my cars. I followed the instructions in my owners manual but got nowhere. He didn't offer to help and continued to pack up. Finally once he got packed up he asked if he could have one of the Monster drink I kept in my garage!! I was shocked and said sure! Anything to get him out of my house! I then called the main office to ask about getting homelink to work from my car. I got no help! I then called Liftmaster and was told I needed a repeater! They asked what year my car was. I told them '07 and '08. They replied that the '07 was too old to qualify for a "free" repeater, but the '08 was and it only cost $7 freight. I got that ordered. I then asked liftmaster about connecting to my security system. Even though it says MyQ on the box, I found I needed an internet device in addition to get that to work!! They tell you it works with a security system but then it doesn't without spending more!! I found the internet device online for $45. Out of curiosity I called Varney door to see if they had one in stock. Sure enough they did. How much I asked. $79!!! I told them I could get it online for $45 and have it in 2 days and that it wasn't worth the extra to get it now!! I suppose I should have done more research on the opener, but I think you get a dealer only instlled opener to get their advice so I think Varney dropped the ball on informing me. I don't see needing another garage door opener in the near future, but if I did, I'd find someone else to install it. Services Rendered: Replaced a garage door opener.

What I liked about the installer, was his attention to detail with every aspect of the installation. Clearly, he took great pride in his work. Great job, Great company.
