Yelp5Called at 10:15 AM when spring broke on my garage door. They indicated that they would get to me by noon, or little after. I received call at 11:10 and they were in my drive by 11:30. Both springs replaced and he was gone by 12:30. The service tech was so polite, efficient and I highly recommend them.

Google5Garage door was damaged and they were able to get someone out the same day to get it closed and secure. We have used them for two other jobs and always get great service. Thank you

Yelp5Our garage door was grinding when it went up and was very noisy. We called on Monday and had an appointment scheduled for Wednesday of the same week. The repairman called to let us know he was on the way and arrived on time. He was able to troubleshoot the problem and take care of it for a reasonable price. He was very personable and knowledgeable. No more noisy garage door! We will definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs a garage door installed or repaired.

Google5I called Midwest Gargae Door Systems after having one of their competitors give me an estimate for spring replacement. Competitor - $1100 for 1 spring - more if we have to replace both Midwest Garage Door Systems - $295 for both springs replaced Called Wednesday afternoon and tech was out Thursday afternoon. Extremely happy with service and price. Will definitely use them again if needed and will definitely tell everyone to use Midwest Garage Door Systems

Google5I had a minor garage door issue and wanted to use a locally owned business. They were out the same day and fixed my issue for a very reasonable price.

Google5My tenants called and said the garage door and spring fell apart. I came in and ordered a new door replacement. Upon the tech arriving for the repair. I discovered that the door just needed a cable repair and 2 new hinges. The tech did a great job with the repair and honesty. So sorry for you guys having to load the door and returning it. You have done service with me before and will continue to do all my service. I highly recommend you. Thanks you.

Google5The staff at Midwest went above and beyond to install our garage door in Broad Ripple. Angela came out the next day after my call in to get a quote on a new garage door and their price was just below two other companies that provided estimates. One month later her crew came by and worked very hard to get the new door installed perfectly. I strongly recommend contacting Midwest if you need servicing or a new door installed. They are fantastic.

Google5I had an appointment on Friday 4/24 with a different company to come out and install a new garage door and opening system. There ended up being a scheduling error and we were told they couldn't come out until Monday. This was unacceptable for we had our non-working door open (which was barley hanging onto the tracks) and contents moved into the drive way for easy access. I called Midwest around noon on 4/24 and they were able to have a new door and opener installed within a few hours and even gave me a better price than the competitor. Midwest knows how to take care of their customers in a time of need. Much appreciated and will tell others. Thank you all!!!

Angi5We would definitely hire them again. The only 'negative' about the experience -- and this is minor in the scheme of the whole process -- is that we visited their 'showroom' to start the project. The gentleman we spoke with there wasn't completely knowledgeable; the receptionist answered many of our questions, however. We were told that 'Angela' was at the county fair but that she would call and set up an appointment to come to our home. After several days, she had not called. However, I texted her. She immediately responded, set up the appointment, came to our home within just a couple of days, and was awesome! She ordered exactly what we needed, answered all of our questions, and told us the door would be in within 2-3 weeks. It arrived after just a couple of weeks. An appointment was scheduled for the install within a few days. 'Brett' did the install -- and did an awesome job! He was professional, pleasant, careful, detail-minded, and ensured that we were happy with his install. (Unusual in the 'trades' service industry, they were always on time!) Regarding the door itself ... They were able to match -- very closely -- the color we needed with a stock color .... that never needs painting! The door brand is 'Clopay.' We opted for the 'Intellicore' insulation technology and upgraded to heavy-duty hardware. The $1,105 price included complete installation and haul-away of our old door. Very happy we went with Midwest for this project -- and would definitely use them again! Services Rendered: New garage door installed

Google5Angela came out to measure my doors and show me options at 1pm and by 5pm I had a quote to make a decision on. About 2 weeks later my doors were in and we set up a time for installation the following week. Charles was my installer and he was AWESOME. He called as they had promised and let me know he was about 40 minutes out when he left the shop that morning with my doors. He was on time and quickly assessed my current set up and let me know about a few things that would need to be done in order to have my new doors mounted onto the existing tracks -- this mostly consisted of a few cut-outs in the drywall over the door for brackets that were different and such, and he made those cleanly and only as big as required, and checked with me to make sure I knew he would need to do that and that I was ok with it. I was surprised that he was installing 2 doors alone, but he clearly knows his stuff. While it took him most of the day at my house he was working efficiently and smartly to get it done in a quality manner. He ensured everything was working properly, cleaned up and did final paperwork with me before he left. He did a phenomenal job and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and look of my new doors! My entire experience with Midwest was so positive - everyone from the front office to reception to scheduling to install was incredibly professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend them!

Angi5Technician (Charles) arrived within the given interval, calling me when he was leaving the previous job. I hung around the garage area the whole time he was here, not to keep an eye on him, but was interested in the mechanics of the work. I also like to chitchat with folks if they’re so enclosed. He was very tolerant of this and obliged. I was impressed by his attention to detail in his work and the safety aspects involved. It didn’t take too long to get the job completed. He had to call tech support on the internet parts as they weren’t behaving coming to the conclusion that there was a defect in one unit. Cleaned up he progressed and when the job was complete. Services Rendered: Weatherstripping and roller replacement and add Internet control.

Angi1I went to the Home Show to search for a few things on my home improvement list & an updated garage door was one. I stopped at the Midwest Garage Door Systems booth & spoke to Angela about a specific door I saw in their brochure, which I pointed out in the book. She quoted $3200 & when I asked her if that was the installed price, she said yes. I called two days later to set up an appointment & they came to my house a few days later. She appeared very confused about the door I had inquired about & said that one is very expensive. I asked several times, to show me the sample of that specific door that she quoted me $3200 installed. She continued to show me things that I didn't want. She emailed me later & said that door is $9000!!! In her email to me she said 'I'm sorry! I may have thought we were talking about the modern series (not canyon ridge). It was a very crazy week for me at the homeshow (not an excuse) but i didn't mean to give you the wrong idea'. How could she not know what I was talking about when my husband & I specifically had a conversation with her about only one door & it was their brochure we pointed to the photo & had a conversation about. She even called it the Canyon Ridge. I called the main number, to speak to a manager, and the guy on the line said he could help me. After explaining my experience, he was absolutely no help & kept talking over me. By the way he acted, I don't feel that he was a manager at all. There was never an apology or an offer to make their mistake right. I typically don't write reviews but I feel that they flat out lied to get me to call them. I didn't talk to any other garage door booths that day because I thought this is the door I want in my price range. My recommendation would be to not use this company because they don't seem to know what they're talking about, they give false information & when they're 100% in the wrong, do nothing to make it right. Yelp5This company is awesome!! My spring broke on my door, I gave them a call at 1:30 in the afternoon. The lady on the phone quoted me a price, and I asked when they could make it out (expecting the next couple of days), and she said that they would be there later on. By 3:00 the service tech was pulling out of my driveway! The price I was quoted on the phone, was the price I paid! And it was very, very reasonable. You guys did a fantastic job. Thanks again!!
