Yelp5Great service from start to finish. Had called two other garage door services before contacting Pioneer Door. Michael was able to give me straight answers on the phone for my particular garage door issues(I have three garage doors). They confirmed my appointment for the next day by an email with a map showing my location. They arrived at the time agreed. Spencer the technician was very knowledgeable. He answered any question I had about what he was doing. The work was done correctly and in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to use them again for my garage door needs.

Yelp5Pioneer Door (Our 2nd review) This is review for https://pioneerdoorinc.com .We decided to delay our review to make sure there were no post installation issues. We painted the entire exterior of our house and our metal garage doors. The seals along the house/garage door frame had deteriorated plus the seals on the bottom of the two garage doors had cracked letting water into the garage during rainstorms. We called Pioneer Door as we had done in the past to do the repairs. Burgundi, individual that helped us, suggested a color seal that would complement the selected paint color for the garage door. For the reader that looks at the Star rating and short reviews, Pioneer Door is first class, 5+ stars. Truly they are in a class of their own. Workmanship, integrity, detail oriented, clean-up excellent, product knowledge first class, quality materials; and exceptional responsiveness to customer's needs, desires, and concerns are what you get from Pioneer Door. It does not matter how small or big a problem or job; you will be more than satisfied. We have been every time we have used them.

Yelp5As a business banker, retired, with over 40 years in the industry, I have come to appreciate local, family owned, customer oriented small businesses. One such company is Pioneer Door Inc. I've been their customer for 20 years when they replaced my old, heavy, wooden garage door. The kind that had huge springs on each side My second door was installed due to a driving error by one of my daughters. Still SMH! My wife's as well as my own car are parked in the garage. Last Wednesday, my wife was going shopping in mid afternoon, but came back in--"Garage door won't open!" So me, the mechanical fool that I am tried to open the door- no luck. As a Vietnam vet, while many faults, panic is not one of them. But panic I did. Last year, my wife received a new kidney, which saved her life. Panic because she had a doctor's appointment the next day. Called Kim at Pioneer Door. Kim, along with her husband and daughter Burgundy are hands on owners. Kim was able to calm my fears and promised to have some one out ASAP. Within minutes I received a text from Spencer, one of their techs. He'd be here within 15 minutes. Upon arrival he got the door open within seconds. I found out later what I did wrong. He pointed out our problem- a broken spring on the right side of the motor arm. As he replaced the springs, it was evident that he knew his business and told me he was a Pioneer employee for over 20 years (I personally spent 26 years with one bank). His long time employment speaks volumes not only as to Spencer's expertise but also to the company's ability to retain such a valuable employee. Before he left, he checked the rest of the door and explained to me how to oil all the various parts, which he did. It has long been my belief that small businesses especially can can grow their company with a loyal customer base by providing amazing service, backed by expertise, stand by their products and work, and come through for you when you need them. To me, Pioneer Door is all of that. Thanks to Kim and Spencer my wife was able to keep her doctor's appointment the next morning and she is doing well. If anyone reading this and is in need of a new garage door, repair or just a maintenance check up I would urge you to give Pioneer Door a try!

The installer Carlos Jimenez, was professional and knowledgeable and did a beautiful job. And Kim who manages the invoicing was responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this company.

Yelp5Everything was easy and went smoothly from beginning to end. Price is fair compared to other quotes that we got. On top of that, we felt more comfortable with the way they conduct their business and treat customers with respect, from giving a quote to not being so pushy. Burgandy was always there in the office and easy to work with. The two men who installed our door did a great job! Our Clopay door is beautiful and the Liftmaster opener is so quiet. We are so in love with it! Even though we live about 40 miles from their showroom, we drove to the showroom to take a look at the doors on display to make our decision, and that's a plus. Most other places do not have a showroom. Their service area is extending from Azusa to Orange County, and because of that, we were able to get a door from Pioneer. We love our new garage door, and we are completely happy with the service received from Pioneer! We strongly recommend Pioneer!

Yelp2Requested service to unstick my garage door, they charged me and said it was fixed and the problem started again about a week later, I am unable to open the door unless I bumped it and pull up at the same time, well still having this same issue, they came back out and of course it opened when they came but then a few days later I was unable to open the door again. They looked at me like i was crazy and this all you need to do. I will never request service from them again.

Angi5Pioneer's technician found a crack in one of the segments of the door and reinforced it with a strut. He lubricated and adjusted the track and rollers, and now it works fine. Services Rendered: Derailed garage door

Angi5The removal and replacement went smoothly with no issue. He installed new Marantec opener, installed the weatherstripping and showed me some basic maintenance. Have recommended Pioneer Door to several friends and relatives. Services Rendered: Replaced old "California" style tilt up garage door with roll up door

Angi5Great! It was a simple maintenance issue and Spencer was able top handle it quickly and thoroughly. Didn't need to replace anything, just tune it up. All of it was covered under the service charge. They were quick to respond and pleasant to speak with --will use them again! Services Rendered: Had to have garage door looked at -- keypad not working and the door would not stay down.

Angi5Pioneer responded back to my online inquiry very quickly and then sent someone the next day. They were able to give me an idea of the cost, which was competitive (maybe better, actually because the other company was quoting like for like) over the phone. Jared completed the work then greased all the squeaky parts leaving the door better/quieter than before! He even called me afterwards to let me know he had completed the work at my parents home. Services Rendered: My parents needed the torsion spring replaced. I wanted to have a dual spring system installed for better longevity and because it's not as dangerous as when a single spring fails.

Angi5Fantastic; I'd give them an A+ if I could! Kim, who answered my call, was understanding and located a technician come out and perform the repairs that same morning. Ryan, the technician, was knowledgeable, courteous and went above and beyond. Not only did he repair it quickly, he also lubricated all hinges, rollers and springs, and adjusted the door such that it operates better then it did before the unfortunate incident. Services Rendered: I backed into my garage door before it was fully-retracted, knocking one of the rollers out of the track. The door was then disabled.
