Little by little my garage door got creakier. I oiled the rollers maybe every year, but its maintenance wasn't at the top of my list. A chipmunk saved my butt by gnawing a hole in the weatherstripping. I called Genson to replace it. Kevin arrived at the time we had agreed. In addition to the weather stripping, he spotted the wobbly rollers and the rusty cable that lifts and lowers the door and told me that he could replace them all immediately. He had everything he needed in his truck. He did a great job. Straightforward and honest. My door is quiet and works safely, the chipmunk can't get in, and I'm happy that a problem I had been ignoring was quickly taken care of. My thanks to Kevin Genson.

We had two new doors installed. Brian couldn't have been more professional and friendly. He did an outstanding job. He noticed a circuit board had to be replaced. The very next morning Carter was here to replace it, who was just as professional and friendly. Both did an amazing job. Thank you!!

He was good. I had a small issue, he came out right away and remedied the situation. They did a great job. I was very happy with the service. It was an excellent product that we ended up with. Clopay was not cheap, but it is a great product. They were great all the way around. Services Rendered: They installed a Colpay garage door.

We had a new overhead garage door and garage door opener installed. After ordering the new door a spring on the old garage door broke down. They came promptly and replaced the broken spring, but with a wrong size of spring. The door and the garage door opener broke down completely shortly after the wrong spring was installed. The new garage door and opener work fine now and we are very happy with it. Services Rendered: Repairs or a broken spring at garage door. Replacement of overhead doors and installation of a new garage door opener.

I was frustrated last night to discover that my garage door wouldn't open, and with a snowstorm coming I wanted it fixed quickly to be able to park in the garage. I called several places today (Friday) but most places weren't available until Monday. Ithaca Overhead Door was willing to squeeze me in only an hour after I called, they got the job done quickly and well, they were respectful and professional, and I'm thrilled with the service. The price was $70 for labor and $70 for the spring (one spring of two on a two-car garage door), and came to a total of $151.20 after tax. Another place had quoted me $95 per spring, but I'm not sure if that price included labor or not and probably didn't include tax. Overall I'm very happy and would use them again if needed, although of course, hopefully it will not be needed. Services Rendered: Replaced a broken spring for my garage door
