First, he didn't show up when he said. Then his work was less than professional. I paid him because I didn't know what else to do and I was very upset at the quality of work. Bolts weren't screwed in all the way, he changed the track that came with the door and gave me used tracks that he must have had as they were all greasy and dirty; installed an opener that the manual said was too small for the size of door, the trim wrap was terrible and he re-did it once and it didn't turn out any better. He left mad and backed into my garden up over the garden blocks and pushed the mulch up plus knocked over my cement lawn figurine. He must have cut himself and left blood on the opener, spilled coffee on the new door and didn't clean it up and a lot more just careless things that a professional would not have left. I finally had to go to small claims court where the judge made us use a mediator and he signed an agreement about fixing every thing that was wrong and it was itemized and he had until November 17 to get it done. I have a lot of pictures of all the mistakes and presented them to the mediator. So far I have not heard from him and he has not shown up and tomorrow is his final day. I believe this job was way over his head even though he had good grades on Angies List. I did finally notice that these good grades were all for smaller jobs which he probably is capable of. But larger jobs like I had is just beyond his expertise. I am very upset as I do not have the money to correct this and have to live with an unusable door to my barn. It is going to cost $975 to fix his mistakes and I just do not have that kind of money after spending all I had on this. And now I will have to chase him down to get my money back. This is my true review as the first one was over the phone with one of Angies List's people. They put that I would use him again and I can't get them to change it. So I had to write another one. In no way would I use him again! Services Rendered: Was supposed to remove sliding barn door and install overhead door. 2nd REVIEW!

I called Mr. Watson on monday afternoon 4/27/2015 and explained what the problem was with the garage door that would not open. I told him that there was power to the opener but nothing was working. He told me it more than likely is that a gear was stripped and that he would be able to fix it. He quoted me a price of $110.00 and that he would call me in the morning around 9:30 am. He called and said he would be there in 10 min. He arrived in the 10 min. and confirmed that it was a stripped gear and went right to work. It was about an hour later I asked if he would also install a security cable on the door in case I have trouble with the opener in the future. He said he would. A short time later he was all finished and he charged me $130.00 for all the work. I thought this was a very reasonable price. I am glad I found Mr. Watson he is a very nice guy and does great work. I will definatley use him again if need be. Services Rendered: Replaced a gear in my garage door opener. And put in a security cable.

I am very pleased with my working, finally functional garage door. It opens and closes quietly and smooth. So excited to finally be able to park in there! Services Rendered: I called for a quote on my broken, crooked, beaten garage door. He went to my house same day and fixed it for only $75!

Very pleased with the experience; Mr. Watson repaired the door's mechanical problems quickly and systematically tracked down the electrical problem. He came prepared and even had parts needed to complete the job. Offered quite a few insights into how the door works, how to address some common problems, which will help me in the future. I definitely will call Mr. Watson if any future needs crop up. Costs were more than reasonable. Services Rendered: Repaired mechanical and electrical problems with door.

The fix of the opener went in under 45 minutes. The owner did the job, he had an apprentice that he instructed but he did the actual job. They were friendly, professional and very honest and directed me to the repair and not a purchase of the opener. He had the parts needed on his truck and did the repair immediately. Payment was by check. Services Rendered: Live in older cottage on lake. Garage Door opener broke (from 1998) called for service. Owner responded in 10 minutes after call. Came to home withing 1/2 hour. I was ready to buy a new opener but he carefully went thru why I already had a top of the line opener and for a small fix the opener would be good for another 10-15 years. I decided on the fix and he cleaned, updated and checked the whole system in 45 minutes for $110.00. I was so impressed by the Professionalism, quality and super timeliness that I decided to purchase new garage door to update and improve my curb appeal. He immediately got all the brochures and info and worked on the carriage doors I wanted. He ordered right that minute and will install in 2 weeks. All other inquiries it would take 4-6 weeks. The garage doors will cost $2000.00 installed and are insulated with a 14.3 R factor, it includes removal and haul away of old door. He is bringing some ashphalt to grade my area under the door so that I have a good seal of the door to floor.
