I called due to a Broken torsion spring on my garage door, rendering my door inoperable. The person who answered said she could have someone at my house yet that same day. Jeff arrive just 90 minutes after my call, and took care of the problem without delay. He was polite and professional, and even adjusted my door as part of his visit. I would recommend Royal Garage door for any service you need. Highly satisfied!

Great experience from the first phone call. Got scheduled within 24 hours of my call. Jeff texted on his way and arrived in time frame. He was superb and did an excellent job fixing my broken sensor. He checked to make sure everything worked before he left and did not try to sell me unneeded parts. Wonderful experience and will definitely use them again if something goes wrong with my garage door.

We had a great experience with Royal Garage! One of our doors was not rising off the ground all the way and we had another vendor come take a look. The vendor said the track was broken and it would be too costly to take the track a part to diagnose the true issue vs. simply installing a whole new track, motor and door. We called Royal for a second opinion and their technician came out within two hours of our call and he was able to diagnose the problem immediately. The issue was fixed it within 20 minutes. The technician even re-lubricated both of our garage tracks free of charge and the doors are running better than ever! Royal provided great service and saved us thousands of dollars by diligently taking care of our issue. Thank you!

As a homeowner, you know there are things that you are going to have to maintain over periods of time, and yet some of those things catch you off guard. Such was the case yesterday when my garage door opener gave up the ghost. I reached out to a buddy who flips houses and asked if he had a provider he liked for that kind of work and without a moment's hesitation he connected me with Royal Garage Door in Lenexa. I called to see about making an appointment and the receptionist was so very helpful in articulating the potential issues I could be facing based on my description of the failure. She set me up for a service call that very afternoon, and my technician, Jeff, arrived just a bit early. I fully expected a worst case scenario diagnosis and a hard sell for new doors and openers. Imagine my surprise when Jeff told me the doors I had were actually in pretty good shape. He talked with me about what was happening on the failed door and made some observations about the door that was still functioning. Not once did he push me to buy something I didn't need. He explained various models of openers available, and he educated me about the way springs should work and showed me where mine were compromised. In return for his excellent information, I requested new springs and openers for both of my garage doors. Jeff came back today to complete the work we discussed. His work was efficient and his explanations were thorough. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I would highly recommend Royal Garage Door if you're looking for a service provider.

I really want to provide a good review because I truly feel they are a good company, thus my reason for hiring them, but I really can't. It started from the beginning. I was told items were in stock in the warehouse but then had to wait 6 weeks for items to arrive. Then taking time off work yesterday to let the installer in between the 8 and 10 time frame they provided. The scheduler said they'd probably be here by 9:30. At 10:10, after I had arrived at work, they messaged that they were enroute. No communication that they were running behind. I provided the code for them to get in. Upon completion, only half of the grids were installed in the windows. I contacted company and was told they would send someone out today. 6pm, nothing. No call. No grids. And during the cleaning of the garage that I had to do, I found one of their screwdriver bits. I was hoping to get that back to the installer. Finally, one of the panels had been dinged already. Again, I think this is likely outside of the norm of their standard business practices and I get that people have bad days but this was more than just one day. But the positive is that the garage doors themselves are outstanding (minus the grids and the ding) and they are so quiet opening. I'm sure my neighbors appreciate it!

Great service. They installed a new spring on my garage door. When I used it a few times I noticed that my garage door wasn't closing quite right. I called them and they came right back out to look at the door and they found that the door wasn't braced properly. So they said they often times get braces from other garage door removals and installations and said they would come back out and install some braces in my door for free. They could have easily charged me for both the braces and the return service but they did not. Excellent service. Above and beyond what they were asked to do.

Very prompt and helpful! I called about an issue, and it turned out the fix was insanely simple, and I could have done it myself. It was fast, efficient and works great. I will call them when I am ready to place an opener on the other garage door. Services Rendered: Garage door opener controlled both doors. I had them remove it and re-position for one door only, leaving the other to be used manually. The guys who did the work were great and they stayed within the estimate they had provided earlier.

I wanted a Clopay garage door that matched the other doors so I did a convient online price/ order form on the Home Depot websight for a specific door and extras, with and without installation, to use as a price comparison. I gave this to Gary when came to give his bid and he was able to beat Home Depot's price for the same door and similar opener installed. I also got an extra remote, bottom rubber seals and step plates installed on the other older doors. The workers were very professional and did high quality work. I am very pleased. Services Rendered: Needed to replace an old, broken garage door and opener and haul off.

We needed a new garage door as the one we had was builder grade and breaking. After a calling and meeting with couple of different providers, Gary was the one that was the most personable and the most reasonably priced. He was very easy to work with, and he thoroughly informed me as to his process and what to expect. The install was done in about 3 hours, and the new garage door looks great. I can't find anything wrong with the workmanship, and everything looks professional. I am so glad that we went with The Overhead Door Guy. Called Gary, and he answered right away. Our garage door opener had stopped working. Our family uses this as our main entrance and I had some security concerns with having to disconnect the opener so the door would function. Gary let me know he could get us worked it promptly. I had done some reading in the past and new i wanted a door that integrated with My Q so it would work with our home automation. Gary can install any opener, but by default installs the Genie brand. Gary was very candid about pricing, competition, and the different brands and options. He called his supplier and quickly got me a price on the brand and product I needed. The install went without a hitch, the gentleman were very nice, worked fast, and did a great job. Their price was competitive and the opener has been working well. Services Rendered: Installed a new wi-fi enabled Liftmaster garage door opener to replace our non-functioning one.
