Angi5Called about 4:00 pm on Sunday and left a message. Got a return call at 9:00 am on Monday and there was a technician at my house less than an hour later. He completed the work in about 30 minutes. Excellent work, I was very happy with it. Services Rendered: Replacement of a broken garage door lift cable

BBB5**** was an diligent hard working young man installing our door drive and key pads. Did two door in under 4 hours. Called ahead of time and started right on time, he was engaging to speak with and answered all my questions. This is the 3rd time we used Overhead Door and this was the best of the 3 experiences. Keep up the good work, thanks!

Yelp1Accidently called OGD instead of Overhead Door. Young man that came out was nice and had nothing to do with but was told on the phone $50 for a service call and likely easy fix. Then was quoted $275...and then $150 after showing my displeasure. Pick a price. Ended up paying $50 and no thank you I will call Overhead Door instead. Wasted 2 hours of my day off. If it seems shady it probably is.

BBB5What a pleasure to do business with this company! They did the install on a door that we bought from a third party supplier (we will never make that mistake again!) They are on time, fast, efficient, and really know what they are doing. We strongly recommend buying the door from themthat way if the door is damaged in shipment you will have no problems, they will take care of everything. I'm sorry we probably will never need their services again. If we ever need repair of our garage door again, they will get the job.

Yelp5Jacob Booth was great!! He helped me order the door and then was right there to install it when it was ready. He started later in the day, and ran into a couple of issues (not his fault, it was the construction of my garage) - rather than just quit for the night, he worked until past midnight getting my door installed correctly. He really went above and beyond, even coming back a couple of days later to make a minor adjustment (on a Sunday!). He was able to diagnose the issues that needed fixing (this wasn't a simple install after all), and everything works perfectly. He cleaned up after the install and my garage was spotless. I highly recommend Jacob for sales & installation - he really knows his stuff! When you call to schedule a repair or install, ask for JACOB!!

Yelp1I would not recommend this company. We had a terrible experience and the customer service at this business is not professional. The customer is not their priority. Their priority is to make money and overcharge customers. It's about quantity and not quality. We felt like we got scammed. The customer service manager was unreasonable, was condescending, and rude. I explained that we had replaced our overhead garage door less than 30 days ago. The safety sensors were not installed correctly upon installation. The same technician who came out for the second time admitted they were lose. The original installation wasn't completed correctly and I made they clear to the customer service manager. Before they dispatched the technician they didn't inform us we would be charge additional for this. I was under the impression that they would honor this service. As most businesses would when the equipment is less than 30 days old. The customer service manager kept blaming us for hitting the sensors and insisted that we didn't understand our warranty. They insisted they were working with us by only charging us half for the service charge when literally the sensor just needed to be tighten up and wasn't originally installed properly. I'm in the customer service industry and would never treat someone this way, especially a referred new customer. I will never use this company for garage door work again and caution future homeowners to beware.

Yelp5The company is amazingly efficient, speedy service, proactively communicative. They called me back to set up an appointment (next day) and provided the timeframe. They texted me when the tech was in the way (including name and photograph of tech). They called when complete to accept payment and emailed me a receipt. Shannon in the office was knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to work with! This is definitely the company to go to!!

Yelp5Trace was great. He came out when scheduled, took one look and said "I'll have this ready in a jiffy." He fixed my loose steel cable, re-aligned the main pulley up top which had come loose and greased it all up before leaving in 30 minutes. All for the same quote given over the phone. No surprises. The garage now opens up perfectly and quietly. Thanks Trace.

Yelp1Never showed on time; I called and rescheduled and then they showed 2 hours later and charged me for nothing. Service is not dependable and this is not the first time with them. I have an electric opener they installed and it has always been a problem. Next time I wil shop around.

Yelp5Nathan showed up in perfect timing. Diagnosed the situation and had all the parts on the truck. This was not just a spring issue too. The main rod sheered right off at the bearing! He replaced the bearings and rollers immediately and rebalanced everything. This is our 2nd time using them with our 2nd house. For the times you need this kind of service, OGD is very responsive, sends texts immediately with confirmations and notifies you prior to arriving. Strongly recommended.

Yelp5We bought our garage from them a long time ago (15 years at least!) and never had a problem with it until the other night, when it finally decided to stop working around midnight. Not the best time to have a broken garage, especially with work in the morning. However, we called them up and they were over here before 1AM. Their work was both efficient (less than 1 hour!) and professional! They also were so accommodating and true to their word on giving the 10% residential discount that they advertise on Yelp. Easy to see why they've been in business so long. They clearly know what they're doing and it's clear how much they care about doing right by their customers!

Yelp5Installed new Liftmaster opener flawlessly. New opener can connect to WiFi. They also lubricated my door as part of the deal. After all the work, my big door went from sounding like clankity-clank to a nice low hum.
