My wife called me during the school day, which was odd, but I was on break, so I had time to answer. It turns out there is a problem with our garage door, apparently it had hit an obstruction on the way down and came off the track. I was told that it was literally hanging off the track!
I was at work for the next four hours, so I recommended that she call the company that we had used for another repair less than a month ago. She had already called them, but they would not make it out until Wednesday, and this was Friday, our garage door was wide open, and dangling precariously, Wednesday would absolutely not work.
There was a chance that if there was a cancellation, then the repair company MIGHT be able to come by, but we were advised that there would be a extra $30 charge for service calls after 5:00 PM. My wife told the company to make it happen, and they were to call us and let us know the status of the potential cancellation.
By now, I was home and in the garage tinkering, attempting to make the necessary repairs, the cable was off the roller and I have no clue how to repair that, so I was focused on keeping the door from falling and causing more damage. By 5:00 PM, I recommended that my wife call another company.
My wife reached Anytime Overhead Doors and said that they had a better review than the original repair company we had called. I spoke with them about what was going on with the door, and they gave us a flat rate of $89 for the repairs. I agreed to their terms and was given a two hour service window.
Through my tinkering, I had managed to secure the door back in the rail, but it was far from repaired, it still couldn't be lowered.
Within two hours, a couple of gentlemen from Anytime Overhead Doors had arrived, and they literally had the door repaired to 100% within ten minutes! The repairman (sorry his name escapes me), even grabbed a can of spray lubricant and lubricated the door and spring.
Prompt service; a fair price, and friendly, courteous employees . . . what more could one ask for?
Anytime Overhead Doors, their name says it all, I was left with the impression that they would arrive as soon as they could.
If I ever need another garage door repair, rest assured, my repair call will be to Anytime Overhead Doors!
