The first tech came out on Wednesday, 24 Jan 2024 and completely diagnose that it was the motor had stopped working. The Tech that came out Monday, 29 Jan 2024 was kind, courteous, professional. Talked my spouse thru everything.

Awesome service. Came with a few hours after call. Extreme life savers since we were experiencing the freeze over! Professional, on time and explained process and function of my garage that I damaged. Also recommend additional services if needed in future.

Chris and John were fantastic. Called in advance . Arrived on time. Installed in said timeframe. Walked me through the MyQ app and the features on my new WiFi garage motor. Highly recommend!

Christian was our technician on a recent overhead garage door service call. He was on-time, polite, professional, and certainly "knew his stuff". Highly recommend him and Killeen Overhead Doors for any garage door and electric door opener needs. And a shout-out goes to the ladies in the office for remembering us when a cancelation occurred during the recent frigid winter weather. It saved us having to wait several days. Hard to find customer service like that these days!

We are Very Pleased with Killeen Overhead Doors. The Gentlemen that came out to repair our overhead door knew exactly what was wrong with our door and had it repaired right away. Always Great Service. If you need someone fast & efficient...call them. They will always be the ones we use.

Called because we had a broken spring on our door. Killeen Overhead Doors was a life-safer! The tech was prompt, friendly, explained everything and completed the job very quickly. He answered all my questions and was just an all-around pleasure to work with.

Called to have the track that was bent fixed on the garage door. Technician came out the next day first thing in the morning. Problem was fixed in less than hour. Great customer service.

My garage door broke at 7pm last night and less than 24 hours later it's fixed. I was able to request service on line and immediately receive a confirmation phone call stating the technician would be out today. Two men, Tyler and Chris repaired the broken spring in less than an hour. The cost was more than fare and came with a 90 day guarantee. I'm 5 star pleased. Thank you sincerely, L Johnson

I called them for a service to repair my garage door. For that call they had a next dayvresponse. However, the tech did a substandard job and I had to call for a repair to the repair. It was scheduled 1 1/2 weeks. Time from 8-12 am. A girl with nice nails shows up at 11:50, spends 5 minutes looking at the issues, then leaves with no repairs. Tlod me that would try to get back out that afternoon. So I wait until 4pm to call and they tell me someone will be out sometime the next day. So, getting pissed, I ask if they really expect me to miss two days work waiting on them. The lady told me they call with a 15 minute notice. As if, we all work in a place that close let alone being able to get off work that fast. They are again, one of many central Texas businesses with low work ethics and no quality to their services at the price they charge. A hard no on quality, price and service.

If I could give anything lower than a 1 star I would. This place is absolutely horrendous. They don't do the work they say they will, they were called out to replace 1 spring. They replaced 2 and left the opener non working. Never called me to talk about it, nothing. Never gave me options on how to fix it- even though I asked multiple times... just kept sending me invoices....for a non working door......in which I kept asking how can we get it to work, they said they would look into it and call me back. Never did... When I finally called in for the 4th or 5th time to get answers they were SO RUDE to me. I was hung up on by the owners wife (didn't catch her name). I was also hung up on by the front office lady Lori. I guess my tone I was using was bad they said, they both were listening to the call and said I was being condescending not that I was saying anything mean/rude (which I wasn't). I hardly think that would be a reason to hang up on someone....especially someone who was calling in to resolve the situation.....I was trying to explain the situation, which has been going on since February so I guess it was a bit of a story, which they seem to not care about. The conversation ended with Lori calling me the C word (I'll let you figure out what that is).... I mean wow! I have dealt with some crazy people before but this honestly had me at a loss for words. I am not one who thinks the customer is always right and the workers have to put up with anything a customer does ( I work in customer service too) but HOLY MOLY this was another level! These ladies were out of control with how they were speaking with me. I am not sure if they were having a REALLY bad day or other personal issues but dang leave that at home ladies! Treat people how you would like to be treated...even if you didn't like my tone, I do not deserve to be spoken to like that. I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to be condescending... I am at work, so taking softly to not get in trouble for being on my cell phone. Maybe the whispering or speaking softly was bad? I don't know but jeeze! I'd certainly like an apology from the owner.... who they would never tell me his/her name or how to reach them... DO BETTER!

I had to wait quite a while for 2 technicians to arrive to install a keypad. Have used KOD several times, but the technicians seemed like temporary hirees. Then the keypad which is about $50 on the Internet cost plus the ten minute install was $143 with a $99 labor charge.

I would highly recommend Killeen Overhead Doors for any and all garage door repairs. My hose was recently hit by a car that damaged my garage door, leaving it unable to operate and trapping one of my vehicles inside. I went by the office to set up an appointment. Shortly after, I was contacted by Brett, who showed up with his faithful sidekick Butter. Brett was courteous and professional. He completed the task quickly which allowed me to get my car out of the garage. I was impressed by his skill and ingenuity. I will be contacting KOD as soon as I get the needed repairs completed on the wall so that they can come back and complete the repairs. I hope that I get the same two when I call back. Two thumbs up to Brett and Butter!

The spring broke on my garage making it so I could not open the door. I called and they came out next day and called me before they came so I could come home from work to meet them in the time window. Fixed it in about 30 minutes. Good guys

This company installed my first garage door in 1993 and kept it well maintained through the years. The time came for a new door and I contacted them again. The front office staff were friendly and professional. Technician/Installer Brett and his canine companion Butters did a masterful job in getting the new door set up. Brett has always gone the extra mile and provided a high quality job. I am a very satisfied customer.

I tried to give this company the benefit of the doubt,4 chances to be exact and it was just not good. Customer service is poor. One of the ladies who answers the phone is completely rude. If you do not like your job or want to give good customer service go somewhere else. It's sad that after 4 tries she still was so rude and nasty, that I decided to go with another company. She is really losing business and money for the company. I wish I could have given no stars!!!

On the day of the installation Brett called to tell me he was enroute and that everything was ready. On arrival the truck was offloaded in a neat and organized manner. Removal of the old doors was done with no trash from the old door system left laying around, all scrap was placed in his truck as it was is removed. Installation of the new doors was totally organized and methodical to get a completely operational system while maintaining neatness and safety of the job site. Brett is the consummate technician. He knows his product, knows the variations presented by various job sites and structures, and is totally able to complete the job at a quality level far above what other installers would ever be able to accomplish. I would without hesitation recommend Killeen Overhead Doors to anyone needing repair of existing garage doors or openers as well as installation of a new system. Great job, thank you Brett! Well. The gentleman called first as promised, arrived promptly, tightened the lift spring & installed a new gear in the opener. Services Rendered: Garage door opener could not open the garage door, but worked when not pulling the door & door would not stay up when lifted by hand to normal up position. Also needed new gear in opener as wife forgot door was locked down as opener wasn't able to lift it & stripped the gear.
