Needed a trustworthy mechanic for my daughter's car while she's in college in Kirksville at Truman State. Joe diagnosed her car with the correct issue when other mechanics said she needed a new transmission. He ordered in the parts and had it fixed in just a few days, allowing her to drive home for a visit. When home for the weekend, her car acted up and I took it to a mechanic in my town who said one part that had been replaced failed (which happens, manufacturer problem). Here's where it gets especially amazing: called Joe and he said in order to honor the warranty on parts and labor he would drive 3 hours to our hometown to trailer my daughter's car back to Kirksville and replace the faulty part, no charge for the tow. This kind of service is honorable and rare! Thank you so much for being someone I can trust to take care of my daughter's car while she's away from home!

Joe's garage is THE place to take your vehicle. The alternator on my car went out and I hurriedly looked for mechanics near me. I found Joe's place and decided to give it a go. I have NEVER been more impressed by the expertise and kindness at a shop. Not only did he have my replacement the next day, but also put on my missing side mirror no charge. I also did not have a ride home, so Joe drove me and picked me up. Talk about a lifesaver!! Thank you guys so much for taking such good care of me and my car. I will be a client forever.
Replaced my alternator, fixed the oil leaks that caused the break, and replaced a worn out part they found along the way. I will be coming back when my car needs help again.
Another car place in town failed a repair 3 times. When Joe got my car it was fixed same day and he's extremely honest on all work. He's very flexible and always takes care of us.

The crew at joes is always very helpful and friendly. I never get nervous going into the shop because their prices are good and they are always fast when working on my car. Not to mention joe always answers the phone, even when he's sick and at home!
