Google5Precision Door Service was great! I scheduled an appointment on their website, which was so easy, and for the very next day. The technician, Patrick, called that morning and said he could come earlier if it worked for me. Wow! I never get asked to move up an appointment, always to move out, postpone, or no-show. When Patrick arrived, it was clear that he was very knowledgeable and knew garage doors. Ours was the bottom of the barrel and a shoddy install to begin, and Patrick recommended upgrading and rebuilding the entire door system to make it stronger, safer and guaranteed for 10 years. We went with it and couldn't be happier. The door works flawlessly now and is much quieter than before. I highly recommend Precision Door Service and Patrick.

Google5Precision did an excellent job repairing our garage door. They came out promptly when I filled out the form online and they fixed the issue quickly. They had all the parts in their truck. Great technician and quality work!

Google5Derek has been to our house several times, but for different issues. We like him so much, we ask for him by name. He is experienced and efficient. He's a great guy and an outstanding worker. I like that PGDs has all the parts on their trucks. There's no waiting.

Google5Precision Garage Doors gave us great service from the 1st phone call we made to them. We called a competitor and Precision gave us a discounted price to keep us from going with the competitor. The install was perfect! No mess left behind and Adam and Tom were awesome! Very personable.

Google5Very professional and 5 minutes early of 1-3pm window. Ended up needing a new opener and they had one on the truck. Mine was just 10 years old but this is awesome. Keypad, app, open from anywhere and much sturdier safety sensors.. Super quiet. Well worth the price and they were in and out in 1.5 hours. No service charge if they do the repair as well. Has to be one of the better run companies in East Tennessee. Will call them again if needed!!!!

Google5Love my new door and opener. John and Nathan were exceptional. So courteous and professional. It's so quiet you have to look twice to make sure it's working. To say the least, "we love it!" I highly recommend Precision Doors. I forget the gentleman's name who came and rescued us when we were trapped in the garage, he was great too. The gentleman who took our first emergency call was exceptional. 5 stars are not enough to express my gratitude. Thank you so much!

Google5Cannot say enough good things. This is our 4th door from Precision Door Service. They are always great at communicating, timely, explain everything in great detail and clean up after themselves. Our latest doors were installed by John and Nathan and they did a superb job. Tommy came out and made sure we had all our ducks in a row as far as how they would be installed and told us in detail everything we needed to know. We highly recommend them.

Angi1Agent on phone for company when scheduling said no problem, they even have the necessary equipment on the truck to fix if we want to have it done. Repairman arrived, looked at panels, said nothing he could do, recommended Williams Door Company and charged us $50. Also said our garage door opener sounded like it was on its last leg and should be replaced. Called the company to object to being billed for nothing, was told a manager would call. No one ever did. Services Rendered: Estimate to fix several bent Garage door panels.

Angi2It went fine because the technician, Nick, is great, but the company has apparently gotten too big for its britches. Its cost for the opener (and installation) I found out later was about $125 to $150 more than than other authorized Lanier dealers in Knoxville. Also, the manager in Knoxville, Thomas, doesn't have the professionalism to return a call despite the fact I have been a customer for several years and have spent more than $2,500 for doors and services. Precision has become an absolute ripoff. Do your homework before you hire Precision for anything. Services Rendered: Installation of a garage door opener.

Angi5I called on the weekend and they were not able to come out but came out immediately Monday morning. Very punctual and professional presented several options to me. I ultimately decided to replace both springs as well as bearings rollers and cable. I also went ahead and got the lifetime warranty. Very pleased I have my garage door working again Services Rendered: Spring broke on door. Additional repair was needed overall

Angi5It went WONDERFULLY! Thanks, Angie's list, for the reference and lead to this wonderful company! I got an appointment the same day as I called. The technician, Josh, was prompt, professional, personable, prepared, and proficient! [a 5-star rating for 5-P service] He had everything necessary to complete an extensive repair and did it in under an hour's time. He also explained the nature and need for each facet of the repairs to be done. I am suitably impressed with this company and their technician. After disappointments with other service and remodeling companies, it is refreshing that the promptness, capability, and high work ethic exhibited by Precision was there for me! Services Rendered: Repair Garage door opener system - replaced spring assembly, bearings, cables,some rewiring, (just about all but the door and motor) with a lifetime guarantee.

Angi2Do not engage with Precision Door. They do not do what they say they are going to do. Engaging with this company becomes a part-time job you do not get paid for. You have to call them multiple times to follow up on your "service", follow up, follow up, follow up. It took a week to have a representative come to my house from initial call. On initial call, dispatcher said someone would be at my house that very day. Ten minutes before my appointment, which I left work early for, the service person called me to tell me they were not coming, but would come when part came in. After five days, and multiple attempts to get someone that can help on the phone, a service person finally came to help. This company uses phone dispatchers, who are very polite, to answer phones. If you have a problem or question, the dispatchers cannot help and have no authority. Dispatchers say a manger has stepped out, and they will call you back. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CALL YOU BACK. Thank goodness for Siri, I ended up having to set reminders on the hour to call these people back for help, otherwise I would have never had my issue fixed. Services Rendered: New circuit board.

Angi2I bought a special deal garage door tuneup through Angie's List. It was stated on the offering that I would be called to schedule. I never received a call. forty-five days later, I filed a protest through Pay-Pal to get my money back. About two-and-a-half weeks later, I received a call from Precision Door Service wanting to schedule my service. This was a few days over two months since my purchase. I declined. Angi5It went outstanding. Nick called and said he was running ahead on service appointments. I agreed to an earlier time and Nick showed on time. He had the problem fixed in less than an hour. He had a credit card payment system onboard. Would highly recommend using Precision door service in the future. Services Rendered: The garage door springs broke just after my wife put her brand new car in the garage. It missed her car but made it a hassle to get the car out of the garage in the morning to go to work. Called Precision door and made an afternoon appointment
