Yelp5The spring broke on my garage door. Frank and Gavin came in a timely manner and replaced the springs on the door. They did an excellent job in less than 1 hour. Their price was reasonable.

Yelp5The spring broke on my garage door making it inoperable. I called First State Garage Doors. An appointment was booked for the same day. Gavin and Daniel arrived on time. They were super nice guys and more importantly totally competent. There was no question that they knew what they were doing. Price was comparable to other over the phone quotes. I really can't say enough positive things about this business. Highly recommend. Thanks Gavin and Daniel !

Yelp5Our daughter recommended we use First State because she was totally satisfied when she called them. The gentlemen that arrived were young but definitely knew what they were doing. The garage door opener moves silently on its track. We are a couple both in our seventies and needed a lot of hand holding and these gentlemen gave that to us. We will definitely referred them to our friends.

Yelp5Garage door opener stopped working over the holidays. Contacted First State Garage Doors and they quickly gave me a quote and set an appointment to come out. Today Gavin and Daniel came and replaced the opener. They arrived on time and were very professional. Everything now working.

Yelp5My garage door opener was broken. I needed to get it fixed, pronto! My experience with other garage door places was not good. My husband decided to call this company based on the reviews. Frank and Gavin came out the next day, in a timely manner. They diagnosed my garage door opener problem. Since it was old, I bought a new system. Frank and Galvin were very friendly and competent. My new garage door opener works well.

Yelp5Our garage floor opener bit the dust after many, many years. I decided to use First State Garage Doors based on their positive Yelp reviews and a mediocre experience with another local firm. Frank is a great guy and even called back the same evening after I left a message saying that I needed service. He and his helper came out the next morning to diagnose the problem and the next business day installed a brand new opener. They are friendly, reliable, and I am so glad I called them. I would recommend them to anyone in need of garage door servicing!

Yelp5When your garage cable snaps and you use the garage door a lot, prompt service is critical. That is exactly what happened, even though I called after the weekend. He came out the same morning and offered prompt and friendly service. There may be cheaper places (although the chains have to fork over 15% to the mother ship and are usually are more costly. You also pay for that top placement on Google). The speed of the service and the high quality of work made for a good experience. As they say, you get what you pay for.

Yelp5Frank and Freedoe were great. They were the only company who genuinely tried to look at the problem i had with my garage door and tried to fix it and not sell me on a nee door. They were very responsive and punctual, and were transparent with the work they were going to do. They are priced very fairly since I've had mutiple instances over the past few years where i used another company - who not only charged more but also didn't do a good job. I recommend their company to anyone who needs good work done at a fair price by honest people.

Yelp5I needed installation only, most places were overpriced & or didn't do installation only. I came across First State Garage Doors, and I am glad I did. Mr. Frank was very prompt in his response to any inquiries. I found him to be very pleasant and professional. I hope not to need any further work on my garage door but if I do, I will not hesitate to reach out to First State Garage Doors for my business.
