I've had 2 encounters with this company & their staff. I rent my home so the rental company uses this company for garage doors. It was over the weekend & when I got home I heard a big, loud noise after putting down my garage door & walking into the house. I turned around to look & saw that the big spring that controls lifting up the garage door & putting it down broke. I put in a maintenance request for this problem with the rental company & was stressing out because I couldn't lift the door, it was way too heavy so therefor my car was stuck inside my garage. I was shocked when I got a phone call from All Access Garage on Sunday. Barbra had called me & left me a message about scheduling a day & time to come out. I was shocked that they were opened on a Sunday....so I thought. I called Barbra back & she answered right away and we set up an appointment for the following day (Monday). Come to find out the business was closed but I swear Barbara must work 24/7....LOL
I got a call from Travis apx. 20 minutes before he was arriving to make sure I was home & to let me know he was on his way. He was very nice & professional. He saw the problem right away & had it switched out within 20 minutes. He mentioned how the chain on the opener was lose & would eventually need to be replaced. He said he would mention it in his report. The door was back to normal after he left. He didn't leave a mess & was friendly.
Well maybe apx. 2 mths later I started to have trouble with my garage door when trying to close it. It would just stop & not close all the way. At first I thought maybe it was my remote & used the other one to reopen it & close it again and it shut. This happened about 3 times over 2 wks & I knew that there must be something wrong & figured it probably had to do with the chain since Travis mentioned it was going when he was there to replace the spring. I put in a maintenance request with the rental company and later that day Barbra called me (I missed her call) & she left me a message saying if I was available for someone to come out that morning around 10a-11a. I meant to call her back when I got home but I forgot. I ended up calling her back around 8pm thinking I would just leave a message but to my surprise she answered the phone!! See, I swear she works 24/7. We set up an appointment for the next day (today) for someone to come around 1p-2p and that I would get a call prior to them coming.
Well lucky me that I happened to be messing around on my cell phone & saw a call coming in from All Access Garage (I never leave my ringer on) so I answered it and it was Matt. He told me who he was & where he was calling from & asked me if he could come by and I asked "when?" he said "in about 20 minutes?" This was @ 10:17am so I was like sure! I then went to remove my car from the garage so Matt could have easy access to the garage door. He arrived in a brand new company truck that has their name on the side so no questions asked on who he was.
I told him how the spring was replaced awhile ago & it was mentioned to me that the chain was lose and I told him what was going on. He could tell by looking up at it that it was the chain. He asked me if I minded switching places with his vehicle so he could have everything right there to help him switch the garage door out (backed up into my driveway) & I was like sure! Anything to make the process easier for him. He told me that the new garage door has the My Q app inside of it which was AWESOME because I have the My Q device that is plugged into my wall & the box device on the garage door & that was a PIA to connect to my wifi. If you haven't heard of MyQ its an app that you download on your smart phone that you can use to open & close your garage door with your cell phone. I have a device built into my BMW where I can connect it to open & close the garage door which the last time I had to do was another PIA job and asked him if he could connect the two and he asked what year my car was (2013) and he said he thinks he can because it works with 2013 cars and newer. I also asked him if he could program the hand remotes I had and he said yes! Oh how excited I was!! That saved me time & the stress of connecting everything to the garage door.
I left him in the garage to do his job and when he was done he called out to me. I went out & checked things out and they looked good. We switched vehicle places again & he was able to connect my car to the garage door so I can open & close it from the car. He tried to connect an older remote but it was too old. He left me with a guide that came with the garage door for reference and told me which remotes were set up. He had me open & close the door with the wall remote to make sure it was working, which it was. :-) I don't remember exactly how long he was here for but it didn't seem very long.
I highly recommend this company for all your garage door needs!! Thank you Barbra, Travis & Matt!!
