Well, I called today and spoke to Joe. I was calling to get information and request a consultation for getting a replacement main entry door for a triplex building. I stated that I was interested to get all the numbers and information for a garage door as well, but the priority was, the main entry door. That is when Joe told me they don't do residential entry doors. I responded that I was looking at a magazine advertisement that states and shows pictures that they do entry doors. Joe, didn't have a smooth response and danced around with some word salad that they only do high end with a garage door. Okay, I can see high-end in the magazine pics. I know I am not calling a big box store. I called knowing it was going to be expensive, but also hoping I could justify the price with the words of 'get what you pay for.' But Joe clearly didn't even want to know anything about my needs for a replacement door and associated possible costs to allow me to make my own decisions. He simply made a snap judgement; wrote me off with a lie. I have money to manage and make decisions with. It was very much a let down and disappointing to be lied to by Joe; right there on the phone when ATotalDoor.com website states and shows that they do residential doors. I keep an apartment in my building along with two other nice Airbnb apartments that I manage in the Truman Historic District. I only stay there part time as I have another home in the country where I spend most of my time, when I'm not traveling and flying my family's private aircraft. I called A Total Door because I wanted something better than big box store and knew the price was going to be more. Not sure if Joe's quick judgement of whether I was a worthy customer or not, reflects the entire company and management of A Total Door. Nevertheless, he is representing A Total Door, and I'll clearly go out of my way to call both Joe and A Total Door company out as: false advertisers, liars, misrepresentative, judgmental, snobs, bigots and equal opportunity racist. Myself and most hard working, quality minded and kind people want nothing to do with such shallow minded people and businesses. I get it if you choose to do business with this company, because the product pics are awesome. Hopefully your home or business will be fabulous when the job is done. Just be aware that A Total Door it is all about the getting the easy money from low hanging fruit.

Richard did an excellent job installing our garage doors. Hard to believe that one guy can remove and install three garage doors all by himself in one day!

Richard Hammond with A Total Door came out for a service call and got my door working again. Our door was damaged in a storm. He was great and got straight to work. I'd definitely have him come out to service our garage door again. Thanks Richard!

My garage door quit working after we moved into our new house nine days ago! Austin and Seth came and fixed our door! They were wonderful! Very nice to work with, and our garage door is now working...Yay, to two hard working guys.

Total Door quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the garage door opener. They did an expert job and provided great service. The previous company sent by my home warranty company said the opener was fine (which I knew it wasn't) and only wanted to sell me a whole new garage door at the price of over $2,000 (which surprisingly was to include a new opener). Total Door recognized that it was the opener that was broken, and that the door was fine. I highly recommend Total Door.

From misery to ecstasy! Our small, old commercial building had 2 steel framed glass exterior doors, both with issues - sticky, hard to lock, slow closing............. and more. Based on our comments and photos A Total Door gave us a tentative bid which we thought was reasonable, and scheduled an appointment promptly. Two techs arrived, diagnosed all the [multiple] issues on both doors, fixed them including replacing a couple of parts - and then told us the fixes were less complicated than their bid, so charged us about half of the [reasonable] bid. And all the while were professional and even fun guests in our space. Fast? Check. Professional? Check. Competent and qualified? Check check.

These guys are pros all the way. Ordered my door style and color...took a couple weeks to come in. (way better timeline and pricing than Menard's, Lowe's, Overhead, and a few "garage door guys" from Craigslist) Hands down... Zac came over this morning and killed it...he was done by lunch. If you're shopping for excellent price and service... look no further. the sand tone almost matches my house color...it'll work until I get the house painted

Great service! We had our spring break and I called them up after hours. They got back to me the next day and had a tech out the next morning first thing and had it fixed. My wife commented " He was super nice and had it done in no time. I'd used them in the past because another company told me I needed a new opener and he would cut me a "deal" for $1,000 to install a new opener. This one was less than 3 years old!! I called up Total door and after giving them my opener model he immediately said it's a circuit board issue and Liftmaster will send me one for free because it's a known issue. I did just that and they came out and replaced the board at a very minimal cost to me. I highly recommend them.

This was the smoothest feeling that I have had a home repair company. Joe was quick and knowledgeable and made the process after my daughter hit our garage door with her car a lot less worrisome and a lot less stressful. I would absolutely work with this company again! They're fantastic. They were on-time, courteous, and professional. Their price was reasonable. If the customer is not completely 100% satisfied they will continue until the job is to your satisfaction. They get it done right. I would recommend this company. Services Rendered: They replaced a custom sized garage door.

I was charged for 2 hours of labor at the initial visit and told a 2nd call was needed to replace a section of garage door track. The total cost for the 2 visits was $400. Shortly after the 2nd visit the garage door opener stopped working again. An appointment was made for a 3rd visit. When no one had arrived at the end of the scheduled window of time I called and was told that they were too busy with a more important job and would not be able to come that day. I was told it would be 2 weeks before someone could come. I was also asked whether I thought the garage door opener should be replaced even though I had just spent $400 on it. I declined this and spoke with the owner of the company who said he would come in 2 weeks to determine why the original repair was no longer working. On that day I was called and told that the appointment needed to be cancelled as a technician was not availableand the owner was also unable to come as I had been told he would. I called a 2nd company that day as my garage door opener had not been working for a month and they were able to come out that same day. I was told that I had been grossly overcharged for labor costs on the 2 prior visits and that indeed the garage door opener needed to be replaced as there was an obvious crack in the motor housing. I contacted the owner of Total Door and complained regarding the poor service and requested a review of the labor costs which he said he would do. I explained that I had had to invest another $500 in a new garage door opener due to the failure to recognize what needed to be done at the initial visit. I requested a refund of some of the money I felt I was overcharged and was refused. Services Rendered: Repair of garage door opener, at a follow-up service call, replacement of garage door track.
