Google5We have had a variety of problems with our self-storage doors and Overhead Door Co. of Allentown has fixed them all, including replacing 2 broken doors.

Yelp1Overhead Door Company is unorganized, incompetent and dishonest. It took them nearly a year after they installed my 3 garage doors to add the hardware that they forgot, and then only because I called multiple times to remind them. The story from Andy the project manager changed more than once. He didn't know I called (I have a voicemail with him calling me back), he hadn't been paid (I have a voicemail with him saying they'd been paid), etc. Avoid this company.

Google3When getting a new garage door to replace an old garage door years ago, they were great to deal with. But since then whenever we had issues arise service has been great, WHEN you can get someone to come out!! The bad, I called over 2 months ago because the cable the attaches the spring to the door came off the pulley and is frayed. The other cable on the other side is starting to show a little wear and a little fraying starting. So I called to have someone come out to replace bothe cables. No one called me to set up a time and no one has shown up either!! Looks like all they care about is making a sale and to heck with repairing the products they install! Same with customer service, sometimes it is great and other times they act like they want to bite your head off! Poor way to run a company!!

Google1Our garage keypad randomly stopped working while we were away and our pet sitter couldnt get in to feed our cats. Had to shell out $275 for a locksmith that night. It had good batteries and the numbers lit.....it just decided the current pw was no good anymore. Extremely dissapointed. Also, many months prior i put a service ticket bc of poor garage install. I ultimately fixed a broken wire bc a staple nearly severed it from initial install. This company got back to my service ticket several months later after i fixed myself bc i was tired of waiting....

Yelp5Bought garage doors through Costco in febuary 2021. Jaydor installed them. They did a great job! The installer was very thorough and explained everything. We had an issue about 6 months after they were installed. I called and set up a time for them to come and fix it. It was an easy fix and everything has been working fabulously since. Great product, great company!

Google1I have a large 3 car garage that needed new doors and openers. Overhead Door Allentown came out and took a look. They convinced me that side mount openers would be more secure and better overall. What they failed to tell me was that the entire system is wireless. Now, I'm constant having to press the buttons multiple times to get the doors to do anything and I have obnoxious flashing blue lights in my garage. If they had told me up front that the system was wireless, I would have chosen something different. Oh, and I had to get a technician to come out 3 times before I could convince them that one of the doors wasn't installed correctly. Turns out, they took a chunk of concrete out of my floor to make mounting the track easier, but then didn't bother leveling everything.

Google1Stay away of this company. Terrible. One of the worst and unfriendly customer service in The Valley. I called the company on Marsh 4 Th. To fix my garage door. The technician came in March 9th. And told me he has to order parts as one of the springs was broken. He indicated that it might take a week to get the parts. I called every week and I got very confusing and contradictory statements - After a week: the part was not received - After 2 weeks: it is coming today and we will schedule an appointment next week - After 3 weeks: We don't know what happened and I will call you back (she never did) - I Called back next day to follow up ans she got really upset even though I asked in a very respectful day: I am in the office and I don't have a system to know what was received or not and she got upset and unfriendly with me for asking and calling again. Now after 4 weeks my garage door isn't fixed and still don't know when it will be. Horrible experience. The owner is MIA.

Google5The spring on our garage door broke after business hours 2 nights before Thanksgiving. I called Overhead Door Company the next morning and even though their service technicians were booked, they still graciously accommodated my needs. Debbie, the receptionist, was so pleasant and helpful and Brendan, our service tech, was amazing and very professional. He had our door fixed in 10 minutes. It was a tremendous weight off my shoulders. Without their service, my car would've been trapped in the garage for at least 5 days. Wonderful company with wonderful staff! Thank you!

Angi3I called for an appointment and was told they were busy but would call when an appointment became available. I didn’t hear back for quite a while so I had another company do the repairs because I could not open my garage door and I needed equipment out of it. When they finally called at the end of a day, the day before they wanted to come, I had to tell them I already had the work done because I hadn’t heard from them. Yelp1Very disappointed, lousy customer service. Had to wait five days for repair...door is now worse than before. Called for them to come back again....that was July 2. Ten days later....no response or call back to schedule another repair visit. I wouldn't recommend this company.

Angi5Great service. Polite and professional Technicians. Friendly contact desk. Slight delay in weatherproofing replacements but the most important thing was a functioning garage door. Would definitely use again and highly recommended! Services Rendered: Replace one broken torsion bar, tuneup 2 garage doors, replace 2 bottom door seals and replace weatherproof trim on both doors

Yelp1After using this company for 20 years, they failed to call back numerous times after contacting them to replace a door opener. After waiting over a week for a scheduler to let us know when they would come out, we called to find out why we hadn't heard from anyone. They said they have no record that we had even called. They promised someone would call us back after lunch. No one ever did. The following day we called them again. Again they said someone would call us back. Nothing! Still to this day, no call back. I will NEVER let them set foot on my property again. We called Whitehall door and they came the next day exactly when they said they would arrive. They replaced our opener and did a beautiful job.

Google5Great Service. I had an issue with my home garage door. They sent a technician out within a day to fix the issue. The technician, Ted, was very friendly and fully explained the issue. He got the garage door open, but needed to replace one of the parts and returned the very next day.

Angi1I call the gent and he set up a date and time to estimate the job and show me options. My wife and I waited. The rep never showed up, followed up or called to explain or apologize for wasting our time and now the job still remains as we begin to search for other firms who can keep appointments and commitments. Services Rendered: two new replacement garage doors installed along with two new garage door openers

Google5Before replacing my garage door, I did a lot of research and it paid off when I found Overhead Door. They were almost $800 less (for similar door & opener) than some of the other companies I checked. Andy was very knowledgeable and helpful. The installer was polite, neat and finished the job in less time than estimated. The door is clearly high quality and the opener is so quiet you can barely hear it. I highly recommend Overhead!! No need to look any further!!!
