I had a problem with one of my garage doors. It would not close. There was juice in the system. The door would move a few inches, and then go back up. Springs were good. Nothing blocked. My anxiety was mounting. I called and Ivette (or Yvette--I am embarrassed for not getting the spelling correct) and she talked me down and asked me to check a couple of things, as it was 1:20pm and all techs were booked. This lady knows her stuff! Problem solved over the phone! This was the 6th call I made and a person answered! Cudos to knowing how to manage your business! The others just rand and rang, or put you in a hold queue. Queen Able did not install my remote openers, but, they will be my #1, moving forward (the installer had a full voicemail box). Way to go Queen Able! THANK YOU!!!!! Services Rendered: Garage door would not close. Solved by having Yvette , their office manager, KNOW THEIR BUSINESS! You rock!

Queen able garage doors installed by three garage doors 29 years ago when the house was new. They've been back four or five times since then for repairs. I would never use anyone else.

6 STARS!!!!...I have been working with hundreds of contractors for more than 20 years and only a few stand out amongst the best. Queen Able is one of them! The attentive and courteous office staff led by Yvette, assisted me in the selection of the best door for my project and she was patient with my numerous questions about options. When the time came to install the door, they did their best to work around my schedule. The service staff arrived on time and performed the task neatly and efficiently and also gave me good user tips to make sure my door and opener perform at its best for years to come. THIS QUEEN IS ABLE! I'm very happy that Queen Able is now a part of the stable of great contractors I have dealt with in construction. I recommend them highly!

Queen Able Garage Doors replaced our two garage doors when our home was re-sided several years ago. They did a fine job and recommended replacing our well-seasoned motor drives at that time but we demurred. Eventually one of our drive units failed and Queen Able promptly came to the rescue. Owner Jessie and crew are outstanding technicians and courteous to a fault. I wholeheartedly recommend Queen Able.

Our garage door banged into something in our garage and broke the motor. I called Queen Able and they got me on the book for the following week. The gentleman came out and told me that the motor was so old, they don't sell it anymore and it did not have the child safety sensors so with children in the house it was best to replace. He gave me a quote and I asked him if the door should be replaced too, he said it was fine which I really appreciated as he was not trying to take advantage of me. He didn't pressure me at all to book the repair. We had previously had another company come who quoted us almost double so we easily decided to go with queen able. Such a great choice!! They were able to come and quickly fixed the new motor in no time. He recommended to get a surge protector for the new motor and the experience was all around wonderful. Highly recommend as they were so easy to work with and had our best interests in mind. Love supporting local.

Last week one of my garage doors would not open, instead making a clicking sound when the open button was pressed. Doing an internet/YouTube search pointed most likely to a logic board failure. I first called a very large franchise door repair company with many locations on Long Island with fantastic reviews and an amazing website. The tech arrived and after evaluating the problem he suggested a solution of replacing the head, both electric eyes, outside and inside buttons, chain drive as well as other parts, parts that were working fine. He quoted me a price of $1,400. I asked about just replacing the logic board as that seemed to be the likely problem. He wanted no part of that solution because he stated that he was unable to know if the board was the problem and replacing it would be costly. I told him I would be getting a second opinion. He went back to his truck to call his supervisor and returned with a second proposal of just replacing the head unit plus other parts for $600. I was put off because initially only the $1,400 solution was put forth. Not good. Again, I stated I would obtain a second opinion. To his credit, he stated that he wouldn't charge me for a service call and within minutes Emailed me all his proposals. Very efficient indeed. I then called Queen Able Garage Door, speaking with a very nice young women by the name of Yvette. She could not have been more understanding and helpful. An appointment was set up with tech Shawn. He called on the day of the appointment to let me know he was on the way. Upon arriving he looked at the back of the opener and listened to the click. He said, matter of factly, that I needed a new logic board. I was astonished as to how sure he was. I asked how he could be so sure. He said because of the sequence of the flashing lights on the opener clearly indicated that the logic board failed and just needed to be replaced. Shawn could not have been more friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. The board was ordered and Shawn returned today to install. Everything worked perfectly for a fraction of the $1,400 proposal. Shawn set up all my remotes to work and even installed two outside keypad remotes for both garage doors that I ordered from Amazon, programming them as well. Before leaving he also lubricated both doors. Nice touch! I could not be happier with the service I received from Queen Able Garage Door and as I told Yvette today, I have many friends and family members on Long Island who all have garage doors, and I will, without a doubt, recommend Queen Able Gardoor Door based on their honesty, and professionalism. Thank you so much Shawn and Yvette for such a positive experience with your amazing company!

We needed 2 new garage doors and 2 new garage door motors. They replaced 2 garage doors and the technician reconnected the existing motors. It was realy nice to do business with an honest company, they didn't try to sell me new motors. The work was neat, clean, and the technician did an outstanding job. I had the best experience with Queen Able Garage Door from the beginning speaking with the lady who answered the phone and the technician who was very knowledgeable. I'm totally satisfied and will use Queen Able for all our future garage door repairs. I definitely recommend Queen Able Garage Door.

How often in your lifetime do you really need a new garage door? Very few I'd bet so don't waste your time and money with a subpar garage door from a chain home improvement store. Queen Able's customer service was excellent. I called in the morning to inquire about an estimate and Shawn (installer) came out to assess my seriously broken garage door the same day. It was broken beyond repair, which he checked for first and I agreed. He was able to give me a quote on the spot for an in-stock door and he was able to install 3 days later. INCLUDING INSTALLATION, it only cost $100 more than the MATERIAL ALONE for a lower quality garage door from Home Depot & Lowe's. The new install is two-sided steel construction and a greater than 9 R-factor insulation. Shawn was professional, wore a mask and gloves (thanks COVID-19), and fully deserving this 5-star review. 100% recommend Queen Able Garage Door.

We had a problem this weekend where all of a sudden our garage door would not open. I called the office to request service. Yvette was so lovely and followed up immediately. Incredibly, they had a serviceman, Shawn at my house within the hour. He uncovered that the motor had pulled away from the ceiling. Twenty minutes later the door was fixed and for the cost of the service call. I will not hesitate to call them again.

Queen Able did a great job from start to finish. From my phone conversation to set up the appointment to the technician who came out, everybody was friendly and professional. They were responsive in setting up my appointment, arrived exactly when they said they would and did a great job fixing and adjusting my doors. The tech who came out was very knowledgeable, didn't try to "up sell" me on anything and was honest in his assessment. He made sure everything worked perfectly before he left and explained everything to me. I can't say enough good things about this company. I will definitely use them again!! The first time the Queen Able came out to do repairs they attempted to fix the key switch. They weren't sure this fix would work but they wanted to at least try so that they wouldn't have to do a bigger more expensive repair. We had to call them back when the door continued to give us problems, and on the second visit they repaired the wall button. Then a few weeks later we needed to make another servcie call, which I refused to pay for, and they came out and made another repair which made the door fully operative. It was good service. Services Rendered: We hired them to repair our garage door. It was not opening on command.

They met with me and, even though I knew what I wanted, gave me good options without pushing anything on me. They quoted that it would be ready in 4-6 weeks, but came in sooner. They called and set up the service appointment for the day that we had got that Nor'easter snow after Sandy. But he still came very early and took down the old door, and installed the new one. Even though it was freezing, he didn't complain at all. He walked me through it all and showed me how to use the remotes and everything. I was so pleased that they didn't cancel the appointment due to the weather. They just really impressed me because they did the work the way that it used to be done. You don't find this high quality of service much any more. They'll even come back for free to adjust the door after I have my driveway re-done!
