I've used Suffolk Overhead Doors since 2000 when I bought my present house. They had installed the original opener for the previous owner, and at my request replaced the original garage door opener on my house with a newer model, and later installed a torsion bar and spring to give extra strength and security to my double wide garage door. Each time John Pederson was the technician, and he has nearly 30 years of experience in this trade. This most recent installation was a gift to my daughter and her husband at their house. Because there was not much clearance between the rafters and the single garage door, John went the extra mile and cut small notches in the rafters to accommodate the strut, and then for extra support he installed angle iron from the top of each rafter to the ceiling joist with lag screws. John arrived when he said he would and did a professional job. I would recommend this firm without reservation, and I will use them again when the need arises. Services Rendered: Installed a garage door opener to include one 8' strut, 2 springs, two retainer cables, 4 3" pulleys, white vinyl weatherstripping, 2 transmitters and one keypad.

The only thing that was not clear from the telephone call was when to expect the technician; who arrived within 4 four hours. Services Rendered: Repair garage door opener. Spring snapped and needed to be replaced. The technician was polite, professional and performed the repair in a timely manner.

Fantastic. They took all the uncertainty about dealing with a contractor away and left us with not just a good experience but a Great Experience. Services Rendered: Hans, helped with the selection of colors and type of doors best for the house. He personally did the estimate and scheduled the installation of the garage doors. The were installed in a day, look beautfiul and have been used daily for two years and are in great shape. We weren't having any problems but as a precautionary action we called about having the doors serviced before this recent winter. They sent an installer who spent an hour checking and servicing the doors which are still beautfiul and work great.
