I found this company on Yelp and at first I was a little frustrated with the outcome. However, Shalom who is the owner came back to see what the issue was. He was very fair with his offer and he even credited me back some of the original service call fee. I highly recommend this business.

I was very pleased working with Shalom and GR8 Garage Door. He came out to meet me promptly and we discussed what I was interested in doing. I met with a few other people and I went with him because he seemed honest and also had the best price. He told me how long I would have to wait for the installation and now that I have a new garage door I am thrilled. It is beautiful, quiet and all seems to be working well. I feel comfortable recommending these people.

Our garage door was acting up, intermittently. I went to Yelp and found GR8 Garage Door. The technician, Gabe, came and did some adjustments and gave some important maintenance advice and things to keep an eye on. The dispatch/admin team followed up and was very communicative. Thanks for getting us fixed up!

I have to say, the owner of the business reached out and was totally on top of coming out several times to make things right. He was very kind, showing up himself to see what was going on, and I appreciate all he's done to get the garage door working properly again. And Mauro, the person on his team who did the repairs, is fantastic. So if you can request Mauro, you're getting an expert.

We replaced 3 single garage doors and had a wonderful experience. GR8 Garage Doors gave great advice and helped us select doors that look fantastic and made our home look better. They have worked wonderfully and GR8 Garage Doors is always a phone call away to answer any questions( even months later).

Our garage door would not open, and I went on Yelp to look for someone to help with this matter. Our door was old and we were open to replacing it, or repainting it, but the urgent matter was getting the system to work again. I contacted the company and was able to speak to someone. They said they would come out the next day (which they did), and get the motor (or whatever you call it) and system working again so that we could open and close the garage door. He assured me that he would try to get the door operational while he worked on getting quotes to replace the motor, tracks, etc, and even replacing the physical door. He ended up stopping by and nothing was done (I later found out that the screw coupler was broken and simply needed to be replaced). After waiting days to confirm the appointment (because no one would respond), I was about to look for a mew vendor. The moment I told them that, things started moving quickly. They set up the install 2 days later for 9-10am. At 9:57am, I had to reach out to check on timing, because no one had arrived yet. "Traffic is really bad" and they are now expected to arrive at 10:30am - 10:45am. So we sit there and wait...and wait....and wait...At 12:17pm, I get a text saying "really bad traffic, will be there shortly." So they end up arriving at 1:30pm, and replace the system. The door works fine. It makes weird noises, but is much quieter than my old system so I can't complain too much. I thought it would wayyyy quieter. I don't think they replaced all parts (tracks, coils, cables, etc), but I honestly just don't want to deal with them again. I'm truly grateful that they replaced my old system, but I hated the service, the lies, the poor communication. I don't enjoy leaving unkind reviews, but I was highly disappointed with the results and how everything played out. It's just crazy because they are highly regarded and get a lot of positive reviews on Yelp, so I was stunned. Maybe I am an isolated case. Who knows...

Had a great experience with Shawn/Shalom and the team all around. We needed a new garage door and had done some research on the vendors we liked, but needed a supplier and installation team. Shawn was very hands-on and knowledgeable. He appropriately guided us in color selection (I guessed at a color but he was able to steer me to the better option that matched our vision) and encouraged us to select the option with windows, which, yes, was more expensive, but was the exact right call for what we had visualized, fit the function of the interior space, and looks amazing. He very much appears to be personally invested and is easy and pleasant to work with. His team communicated well and overall, we felt/feel in very good hands. The turnaround time was also really impressive -- I was able to book an in-person consult within a day or two of reaching out, was able to schedule the install within days of the door arriving to their facility, and was able to connect with Shawn anytime with questions. Overall, highly recommend.

I was looking to replace an old wood garage door with a new steel insulated one. After getting several estimates, I decided to go with GR8 garage door. Shalom worked with me and beat a competing estimate. He showed great pride in his business and gave it to me straight. On installation day, technician Eli was very meticulous and did fantastic on the installation. Shalom kept in contact throughout the service and even called once the job was completed to be sure I was completely satisfied before Eli left. In an age when people are just looking to take advantage, it's nice to come across someone like Shalom and his GR8 garage company that keep their word and do what they say. Definitely recommend GR8 garage door. Great job, Shalom.
