Although the guys were a little late, the weather was miserable and they still replaced my old garage door with it's old style side springs with a new door and torsion spring. They were conscientious, focused on the job, and cleaned up after they were done.
Lewis Door Service professionally repaired our 30 year old wooden garage door with a new seal and trim and made the whole process painless. In January, 2024, Lewis Door Service installed for us a new garage door opener and 2 new torsion springs, and replaced the rubber strip on the bottom of the door. We especially like the feature that the new opener now sends us alerts when our garage door is opened or closed. Our garage door now operates smoothly, quietly, and efficiently. When I called for help, we were quickly given an appointment. Dillon, our installer, showed up when scheduled, after calling to let us know that he was on his way. Dillon was friendly and professional and very graciously answered our questions, gave us options, explained what he was doing. From my phone call to the installation, we found our entire experience with Lewis Door Service to be very professional and will definitely call them again if we need help. My garage door was acting up and I called Lewis Door Service, as they were the company who installed my garage door back in 2012. I called and within 45 min, Josh, their friendly technician came to my house. Before he arrived he called and let me know he is on his way, shortly before he arrived I got a text message with his photo and tracking info. The whole job: inspection and repair took less than 1 hr. I got an emailed receipt, which is great for future reference. Before he left he recommended future maintenance tips. Repair was reasonable, I would highly recommend them!

Lewis' seems to be a well-kept secret! We have been using since we bought our house 28 years ago. We recently purchased a new garage door opener. The one installed 28 years ago was working fine, but the technology used at that time no longer works with newer vehicles. I scheduled an appointment and within a few days had my new opener! Had appointment for Friday afternoon. Feb. 17, 2023. Never showed, never called. It's now Monday, Feb 20, still no show, no call. you would think a customer who has used them since around 1985, would warrant better consideration. I guess they don't need the business.
Was here the same day, all CDC protocols followed. The gentleman was right to work and even showed me what to do in the event it ever happened again. Well done!!!
Really did a nice job replacing our garage door. The only hiccup was an unexpected early delivery & install date so we had to scurry to clear space for the installer to work. Would recommend Lewis Door Service absolutely.

I read all kinds of reviews online and this company was at the top of my list. I gave them a call and explained what was going on - they were so kind and honest. They told me it was an easy fix (something I could probably do on my own) and then told me how to fix it. I went out to my garage with my two-year-old and five month and old and had it fixed in less than five minutes. How rare it is to find such an honest and trustworthy company! I highly recommend them!
Responsive, fast, fairly priced, excellent customer service. When working with a service provider, this is all a customer really wants and yet we rarely find it for home repairs. Lewis Door Service gets it though.. This is our second experience with them repairing our garage door, one we inherited with our house 8 years ago. The first call was to replace the door opener and have a new security box installed. Yesterday's visit was to replace a broken chain. It was important for the repair to happen quickly because the chain supports the door while opening and closing. Without it the motor was vulnerable. Both times our technician arrived as scheduled. An overview of the job was provided and we paid in full after the service. No mess left behind for us to deal with. Lewis Door Service leaves a sticker behind on your door, a small but important reminder of who helped you and how to find them next time, or recommend your friends. I give them a gold star for marketing. I hope you'll bookmark them for your home repairs.
We were having an issue with the garage door raising and lowering crooked. We called Lewis Door service and they were very helpful. Scheduled someone to come out, they arrived when they said they would. Took the gentleman about an hour to fix the door. Very reasonable price for a cable that was breaking. We were very impressed with this company. We will use them in the future if needed.
My door was not staying closed , I called Lewis doors and explained situation, they were out 2 days, however they still sent someone the next day and it was a simple adjustment. As always very professional and gets the job done. I appreciate them getting here ahead of schedule.
Jeff did a great job. He was able to install an 8x7 insulated steelback vinyl door, a beltless Liftmaster opener, torsion spring system, a new opener base and a wireless keypad, as well as a battery backup, new trim etc for less than bigger companies quoted me (not including battery backup or a keypad). He threw in nylon rollers. Absolute Overhead wanted $300 extra for them. To top it off he was professional and timely and knew what he was doing. Quote took 10 minutes, the actual replacement took about 3 hours and was done by the same person. Services Rendered: Complete garage system replacement
After reading reviews on here I decided it was time to make a call to have our noisy and presumed falling apart garage door serviced. I called in the morning and was offered a same day appointment from noon to 2pm. I was called 20 minutes before 2pm and was told they were 20 minutes out. They showed up promptly when they said they would be and got right to work. I quickly found out my noisy garage door was not falling apart and only needed a little love to get it back in order. The repairman was awesome and taught me everything I needed to know to keep my door in order going forward. The fee seemed very reasonable and I'm thankful to have a quiet door for the first time in a long time. If anything goes wrong, I will be reaching out to this company again and will recommend them to others.
Door spring broke. It was recommended to go with a heavier spring due to the insulated door. He completed the work on the springs and even replaced the wheels.. The door is much quieter now. Services Rendered: replaced and upgraded door springs.

We were unable to leave the house, and we were planning to leave on a trip. They did it within hours and they were very good about it. They turned out to be the original installer of the door, too, as I checked my records. Coming out the same day, that's normal. If you've got a broken spring, you can't drive out of your garage. It's to be expected. I plan to use them again. I think I just rushed in to Angie's list to see what was recommended and went with that. For all I know, they have a good rating. I'm not certain, but that would be what I usually would do. Services Rendered: They replaced our garage door spring when it broke. They replaced both springs. They tuned the door so that it flows smoothly, did a tune-up on it. He fully adjusted the door.

Fast, and better than expected. The person who showed up was the same person that installed the doors originally for the previous owner! New him by his first name,and that was over 12 years ago. There were no reviews but I picked them anyway. Don't know why, but as they say - there are no coincidences!
