Jake from DoorTek was great. He arrived early. He carefully listened to the problems on our garage door, then he did an inspection of the whole moving mechanism. He gave me four options for the repair, with the #1 option being complete replacement of all moving parts. He didn't pressure me to go with the more expansive options, and recommended a reasonable and affordable option. We decided to go with overhauling the torsional spring assembly. Jake and his little sister finished the job in couple of hours. They also cleaned up the job site afterward. Jake also diagnosed and fixed a simple issue with my husband's shop roll up door free of charge. I highly recommend DoorTek to anyone I know.
Wow !! Our garage door malfunctioned after a power outage and I could not get my car out of the garage. I was in a PINCH. I called Doortek upon recommendation and Jake came instantly. He spent quite a bit of time doing a thorough diagnosis and deciding best course of action. Then he explained in great detail several options. He came back the very next day with an assistant and spent six hours assembling a new garage door opening system. We were so impressed by his diligence and attention to detail. Technician called to advise of arrival time and arrived when he said. Very knowledgeable tech. Provided repair options, and work was done in a timely and professional manner. Price was higher than expected, but I shouldn't have to call them for the next 10 years or more. Would highly recommend.
