As for my experience I was over charged and left with the door in worse shape than before they came out. They were called to fix a noisy door and replace the bottom seal. I had an extra strut from another garage door so they put that on the door to fix the noise and they replaced the seal. You’re looking at maybe a dozen self-tapping screws and 20 minutes of work. This was $240 dollars! I got robbed. To make the matters worse when testing the garage door it was getting caught on the left side when going down. The technician didn’t know what that was and recommended me getting new pulleys and another new strut but said it would be $450 more to do that. Obviously I told them no because of what they charged for the seal. I had another company come out and all it was, the track needed to be adjusted back 1/8 of an inch because with the strut he added and the seal it was causing the door to catch the exterior wall. So if I would have taken his recommendation to fix the issue I would have blown another $450 dollars. These guys don’t know what they are doing and will without a question overcharge you. For me, with the tech leaving the door the way it was and it starting to hit the exterior wall on the way down it caused cracks in my sections and I’m now in the process of having to get the entire door replaced. Please let my awful experience with this company have a bright side to it and do not call them. They are well-known in the industry for over charging people. I have received several quotes on new doors from 4 other companies and all of them said they take advantage of people and do sorry work. It’s just the flat out truth. They came out in May, 1013 and installed a new garage door. The old one had broken. I noticed shortly thereafter that the door jerked a lot as it went up. We let it go until July when I called them about the problem. They sent a man out and he said it must be the rubber around the door which they did not replace. It said it was too tight and he said a little silacone grease would fix it. It did not but because we were out of town much of the summer, I did not call them again until October. They sent a man out. He said everything was as it should be and offered 2 possible solutions. If I did not want to have them replace the rollers or the garage door opener, I could pay the $55. service fee for coming out. I said I was not paying them any more since the door was not working as it should. He tried to tell it was normal and put in correctly. We had words. He quoted me a price of $616. for a new opener and I told him no. I called another company to see what they would charge to take a look at it. They came out no charge. They found that the door was not level and that the rubber around the door should have been replace with the door. Also, the track that the rollers run on had only one place of attachment and it should have a minimum of two. They fixed all the problems, no charge and the door is going up and down smoothly not. I also had them put in a new opener and they only charged me $375. and not the $616. quoted by these people. I would not recommend these people to any one. Services Rendered: Install New garage door.
