I called Barefoot at 2:30pm. They returned my call in 10 minutes. Before I called back, I texted them the number of horizontal and vertlcal panels because I saw in the other review posted here that they would ask those questions (thanks, Angie). They arranged to meet me at 5:30 pm, and were waiting in my driveway when I got home. In 30 minutes, they were done and paid, and my car was parked in the garage. They put a sticker on the inside of the door with their phone number, lubricated the drive screw , and advised me on how to do the same. Now THAT's service. I'd recommend these guys to anyone. Services Rendered: I had the identical problem as the the other reviewer: broken spring on my roll-up garage door. My door would not open more than a foot before closing again.

My garage door would not raise. It would come up about 3" and then go back down. I called Barefoot Garage Doors around 10 a.m. and spoke with Thomas Barefoot. He asked me what my problem was and when I told him, he asked if I could go look at the door and give him some information. The first thing he asked about was the spring over the door. (He obviously already knew what the problem was from experience.) It was broken in two pieces. He then got an approximate size by me telling him how many panels there were. He told me the cost would be approximately $220. I told him that I would not be home until 2 p.m. He said that he would be here on that day, but he wasn't sure what time that it could be as late as 6:30 pm. I told him that would be fine. Around 4 p.m. he showed up and with no problems fixed the door. He even helped me re-program my door opener in my car. I was very please with the promptness and the professionalism that Mr. Barefoot showed. I will reccommend him to anyone and will use him again if necessary. Services Rendered: Replaced spring over garage door.
