Called on Sat, returned call 15 min later Scheduled for Tues (Mon a holiday) @ 11 am. Right on time, took 45 min to replace 4 rollers, lube and reinstall door. Works perfectly!.
We've called Aspen on two occasions now for help with our garage door. Both instances they responded immediately, arriving at our house within a couple hours and fixing the issue right away. We've been impressed by their customer service and skill in fixing what we've managed to break/damage in no time at all. We are so appreciative to this company and would highly recommend seeking them out if you need help with your garage door.
I'd seen recommendations over the years for Aspen, so I called them first when I came home today and my garage door wouldn't open. It was a Friday afternoon so I didn't expect to get repairs done until next week, but wanted to get an appointment set up. Patrick talked to me over the phone to determine the issue, which was a broken spring and snapped cable. He came out within the hour, gave a fair estimate and completed all the work and talked about some preventative maintenance. He was very knowledgeable, takes pride in his business, was upfront and fair with cost, and provided great customer service. We will absolutely use Aspen again for any future issues and highly recommend Aspen for a great local business.

I've lived in the Madison area for just over 25 years now, and have had my share of experiences with contractors, service firms, etc...some good, some particularly not so good. I have to be frank and state that I have not worked with any firm that was as solid and reputable as Aspen Garage Door. Pat is phenominal...honest, trustworthy, a man of his word, and providing the highest level of service and quality that anyone could ever expect. He had done a spring repair for me in June, and we talked about my need for a new garage door opener down the road. Pat did not try to hard sell me, and indicated I did not need one right away. Well now in October, I decided it was time to get a new one installed before winter set in. I called Aspen and they were able to come in within 2 days, which was fantastic, and provide me with a new WiFi capable opener. Pat answered all my questions, went over the instruction manual with me and insured I understood all the options the opener provided, along with how to use/access them. The job was completed in a very timely fashion, and I could not be any happier or pleased with the results. OH, and by the way, the cost of the project was extremely competitive and affordable. Pat and Aspen are what all companies should be, and I only wish they did other things outside of garage doors because I would use them for anything I needed help or repair with, as they are a pure pleasure to work with. If you have a garage door need and don't contact them, you are doing yourself a major disservice. If you want the best, go with Aspen Garage Door...you won't be sorry!

Aspen was able to repair our garage door the same day we called - a turnaround time for which we were exceedingly grateful! Phil estimated an arrival time of 1 to 2pm and was here exactly at 1, which made planning the day much easier. The service was quick, professional, and got the problem fixed. Highly recommended!

The coil/spring and the cable of my garage door broke which stranded my car inside the garage. Phil was so responsive and communicated so well. Pat is amazing!!!! He cares about his old clients and new ones who call in a panic! Lighting hit our house and he took care of us right away! Can not ask for more than that!!!

Pat is the most awe-inspiring garage door mechanic! If I won the lottery and built an apartment complex- Aspen would be in charge of all the garage doors because Pat is a rockstar, genius, quick, thorough and even courteous! Aspen Garage Door was super great. Called on a Friday, got an appointment for Monday morning. He actually called and was able to come early (awesome!). He let us know upfront that he could tear apart the unit for 200 or 300 or just replaced the old unit. We opted to replace it, WHICH HE RIGHT THEN! Replaced our broken door opener, added some safety equipment to our other door, replaced the opener on the wall and replaced the outside keypad. Great, quick service. Would 100% recommend. Thanks! Wow!! These guys are great. I was in a tough place and explained my situation to Pat. He took care of us promptly and got us in working condition. As I am sure is standard, Pat looked over all of the hardware and identified the issues that was leading to the regular need for garage door repairs. Looking at the work, he was able to tell me that the last company to repair my door did so inappropriately. He explained the problem clearly and proposed a solution. Of course that comes with a price but it is not his fault that I am a cheapo! Pat took care of the initial emergent problem in a timely fashion and additionally helped me figure out a long term solution promptly as well. The friendliness, quality of service, honesty, and compassion that Aspen doors offers is unmatched and rare. I feel lucky that I met this company and I will continue to do bussiness with them and only them as long as I live in an area serviced by them.
We got a bid and accepted the offer. In May of 2019, we called Aspen asking if the job was going to be completed. Aspen assured us that the job would be completed, but no confirmed start date. The May call was followed by three more calls throughout the summer each consisting of the same discussion and conclusion. From the last call, they assured us the job would be done before winter. In September, I wrote them one last time letting them know that I would have to write a negative Angie's List review if we did not hear back from them. It is now October 22, 2019. I am not sure why a company that has 100 "A" Angie's List ratings would choose not to complete this job or at least stay touch with a customer. Services Rendered: Garage door repair
Called a number of garage door companies but the owner/operator of Aspen was the first to call back. He went over the likely cost and explained the overtime cost of coming on Saturday afternoon which we were comfortable with. He was here within 30 minutes (amazing) and the job was completed within an hour. This is an owner operated business and having worked with other garage door companies where a subcontractor or employee is sent out, you feel reassured when you meet him that you are going to be treated fairly and with respect. I have nothing but high praise for Aspen Garage Door company. They replaced our aging and somewhat rusted old garage door and hardware with a great new door and new hardware. It works beautifully and looks great (or will when we get the house repainted to go with the new garage door color choice). This morning the chain on our garage door opener broke away from the opener. I called Aspen and they came out within 90 minutes and fixed the existing opener at a reasonable price. I was very pleased with the service they provided and would definitely use them again.

I called Aspen to make an appointment and they talked me through the problem and then recommended I replace it myself as it would cost quite a bit more to have them do it and my family member was involved in repair work and had experience. They gave me a recommendation for brand and type and told me I could call them back during our install and ask any questions and they'd talk me through it. Incredible customer service for someone who wasn't even giving them any money! I'd hire them in an instant for any work I need done in the future. That was a very trustworthy thing to do. The spring on our garage door broke and a neighbor recommended Aspen. Great recommendation! Pat was outstandingly helpful and friendly on the phone, and was able to come out later that same day and fix our door. Now it's quieter than ever before! He explained the problems, the components, and solutions each step of the way, and the final bill was fair and reasonable. I really couldn't give a higher recommendation, this is what a local small business with great customer service is all about!
Our existing garage door was unexpectedly ruined on the night of Christmas Eve. We called the owner on Christmas Day and he spoke with my husband, telling him he could come early the next day (the 26th). He came exactly when he said he would and miraculously put our existing garage door back together so we at least had some security while we waited for our new door, which he ordered. (He got the old door in fair working condition; we had to open it, close it, and lock it manually.) He came back when he said he would and put the new garage door up. It is beautiful and, as far as we can tell, beautifully installed. We had one problem with the inside door hitting the track of the new overhead door, and he came out right away and fixed it. We had no problems at all, and we were grateful for his help. Services Rendered: A new garage door.
My new door came yesterday. It is beautiful. Pat and his partner's son did an amazing job. Pat made sure my garage door opener was working properly with the new door. My garage door saga started 4 months prior when my garage door broke and I unfortunately called a different company to repair it. That different company replaced cables and put on a new spring. Two months later my garage door opener broke. I bought a new one and had that installed. My installer couldn't get the wall mount opener to work. He thought it was defective, so I had to call the company and had a new one shipped. When my new one came it still wouldn't open the door. Crazy thing was the remotes worked. I was going round and round with the garage door opener company and my installer. Then on a very cold morning at 430 am my garage door broke again. The track was twisted, the rollers came out and the panels were all wonky. I called the original company that repaired my door 3 months prior. They came out to look at it. They said the door was beyond repair. I asked if I could get a discount on a new door because I just paid $600 three months prior. The answer was a big fat no. Fortunately this is when I found Aspen Garage Doors. Pat could hear the frustration and desperation in my voice. He came to my house at 4:00 that night. He walked into my garage and found the problem withing 30 seconds. The first company had put on a too heavy of spring. That is why my door failed the second time and that is what stressed my aging garage door opener to fail. Pat worked on my door for 2 hours to just provide a temporary fix until I could get a new door place. He also worked on my garage door opener. When he left, I was able to open the door and park my car inside. Guess what was wrong with the wall mount... The over-size spring was putting so much tension on the door that the opener couldn't work properly.
