When a garage door on my barn failed to go all the way up I worried that my tractor might become trapped inside. I found this business while searching the BBB web site and requested a service call. We had a pleasant conversation and based on his 32 years of experience, Dan correctly diagnosed the problem. We scheduled an appoint, Dan arrived right on time, confirmed the problem and then quickly made the repair. Problem solved, and at a reasonable cost.
From what I can tell, Dan is an honest and fair guy who does great work. After an initial service call to attempt to deal with some interference issues I was experiencing, he left me with some ideas of things to try. He was as helpful as could be, and I will say he *really* didn't seem to want to have to sell me new openers (as in, not out to make a quick buck off me), but that is the route we ultimately had to go. He walked me through the ins and outs of the new openers as well as maintenance, told me to call anytime with any questions, and in the end, although it sucked to replace two openers (two single-car garage doors), I felt well taken care of.
My garage door wheel broke and needed replacement. I called Dan's service at lunch and they were out that afternoon. He later called me that day to inform me that the wheel was fixed, but my 30 +/- year old garage door opener was on it's last leg. He gave me what I thought was a very fair price on a new opener. They came back the next day and installed it. Works and sounds much better than the old one. I will be going back to Dan's for any of my future garage door needs.
Dan is quick, efficient, and friendly. He replaced our broken spring and took the time to check the opener itself; he suggested a repair vs replace on some worn-out gearing. Price was fair, and I'd recommend him without hesitation.
Great service. Had a major issue with door and opener and both needed replacing. Dan came out quickly and gave me an estimate that was more than fair. The install was scheduled for a few days after the initial inspection and he arrived right on time and the work was done quickly and professionally. Cost was same as estimated and was very reasonable
Dan showed up when he said he would and repaired my garage door quickly and efficiently. He could have up-sold me to a bigger job but he saved me 85% by doing a repair. It's as good as new.
Garage door spring broke, Dan promptly returned my call, arrived when he said he would, and fixed the problem quickly, despite the lack of space to work. (Old garage with tight clearances.) Price was lower than I expected and Dan showed me where to lubricate all the components.
Our garage door broke on a late Sunday afternoon; a cord on one side had rusted through. The soonest any local company could make it out was Wednesday. Not cool when your garage door is stuck wide open! Called Dan's Jenko Door Service and he was at my house in an hour and a half after I called! He did a great job--fixed the door and price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!
