My garage door was hanging on by a thread- so to speak- and it happens to be an ancient, outdated, cheap model that I would've never purchased; but, upon moving into the home in 2014, apparently a previous owner thought otherwise. My current situation is quite complex: two young children, one of them being a sick child (my 3-year-old son has Leukemia), currently unemployed to care for them, and a pending divorce receiving no support from my spouse. Thus, home repairs do not wait until funds are available. After an $800 plumbing bill one month prior, the last thing I needed added to my plate was another expensive repair. Thank God for the compassionate, friendly, and understanding employees at Mount Vernon Overhead Doors who came out, assessed the damage, and fixed my garage door- buying me a little more time before the inevitable permanent break and complete new purchase. My garage door springs broke and this place sent out Tyler within two days. He was able to inform me on how to get the most out of the springs. Job was done in under an hour. He also likes dogs and is hard working entrepreneur! All around good experience. Thanks!
