Google5Right before a housing inspection our garage door decided to act up. Bear Creek Overhead Doors got us an appointment in record time. Technician Tyler was professional, courteous, and got the job done right. Communication pre-appointment was spot-on and continuous. If we need our door serviced again, Bear Creek Overhead Doors will be the first ones we call.

Yelp5I was out of town and my girlfriend was leaving the next day to meet me. She got home and the garage door wouldn't open all the way. It lifted about a foot and then stopped. She tried the opener again and it shut and then tried to open stopping in the same position. She parked outside and went into the garage and video called me. After she tried the button on the inside the door opened all the way but we could see a cable hanging down. I told her to manually close the door and just stay parked outside. She pulled the release and the door slammed shut. I turned to google and called Bear Creek from out of town and spoke with Tyler. I asked for a service appointment for Monday and explained what happened to him. He said it sounded like the spring. We drove back to town Sunday and Monday morning I texted Tyler asking for our appointment time as I didn't remember. He promptly responded letting me know that we originally had an afternoon time scheduled but he had an opening earlier if I would like it. I switched and he arrived on time. The spring was indeed broken and he replaced and serviced our door in a timely and professional manner. I won't hesitate to use Tyler/Bear Creek again going forward. I asked him questions and he explained everything to me so I could not just understand but learn. Full 5 stars are earned and I'm glad to have people that run their business the way they do in our valley. It's always nice being able to use a local small business that takes pride in their work and cares about you as the customer as well.

Google5Five stars! Tyler dedicated an entire day to ensuring my new garage door installation was perfect, a real challenge given how far-out-of-plumb my old garage is. It looks fantastic!

Google5Tyler did a great job. I had multiple issues with my garage door and he didn't stop until he had addressed them all and the jobs were done right. And his pricing was fabulous! I highly recommend him and will return if I have any more problems (although I'm guessing I won't).

Google5Tyler came out and did a great job. He replaced a broken spring. He was professional and explained everything and honored the estimate price range that was quoted on the phone. Excellent service! I will call them back for preventative Maitence for sure.

Google5Our garage door spring broke and my car was literally locked in the garage! I called Tyler and he didn't hesitate for a moment to drive all the way out to Ruch to repair the door. I'm so impressed with how quickly the repair went...he did an amazing job...my 'old' door is not only as good as new, it's actually 'quiet' and glides more smoothly than ever! Tyler's friendly and professional attitude was very refreshing. If he didn't already have parents, I'd adopt him! Thanks so much!

Google5We first used Tyler to fix the sensors on our garage door and to service our large barn door. He did a great job, was punctual and charged a reasonable price and had great customer interaction. Based on that experience and the reviews, we went ahead with replacing our two garage doors. He had lots of style options. He was with us today to install the doors and did a great job and left our garage cleaner than when he arrived. Have no hesitation in recommending these guys, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Tyler for a great job!

Google5I would definitely recommend Bear Creek for garage services. It was very easy to get in touch with Tyler to set up an appointment. Since it was his cell phone, he had the option to text, which is great for people who have a hard time calling on the phone. Tyler missed my call at first, but he called me back within ten mins, and we were able to set up a date and time in the same week. Tyler gave me a time window for services, but I really liked that he gave me a call 20 mins before he arrived, which would have given plenty of time to get back home if I needed be somewhere else. Tyler was able to start working right away to replace the springs for the garage door, and the service was faster than expected. Tyler also oiled all joints and chain for the door and showed me the best way to maintain my garage door, so it will last longer. My garage door works great now, and I can finally park in my garage again.

Yelp5Wow. I'm so impressed! I called Tyler and he came out in 20 minutes! I had been told by someone else I probably needed the circuit board replaced in addition to $125 for the visit. Tyler checked everything. Fixed some things and got everything working - no need for a circuit board. Plus he's a great guy. Very honorable. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Yelp5My garage door would not stay closed after another company serviced it. I called Tyler of Bear Creek Overhead who tried to help me troubleshoot this over the phone so I didn't need to pay a second company. I couldn't get it to work, so made an appointment with Tyler. After coming out, he agreed with the other company that the garage door opener was old, and no one could obtain parts to fix it. He recommended a new opener. Since both companies recommended different openers, I decided to do some research. I wanted to pay Tyler, but he said he didn't charge if he didn't fix anything. I gave him some money to reimburse him for his time and gas. After he left, the garage door started working again! I was very impressed with Tyler's integrity and expertise. I would highly recommend him.

Yelp5Lucky for us they fit us in same day as we had a busted spring on the garage door which was very inconvenient for us. Extra effort was required due to poor installation technique on old springs. Good work and service by Tyler including clean up etc. Reasonable rates.

Yelp5Tyler has taken over for his father who has retired from the business. Thought we'd give him a try; he is a One Man do-it-yourself. Since he is the only one doing estimates, ordering, assembling, and phone calling, don't be afraid to call him anytime and as much as necessary to get your answers. He will get back to you eventually. My husband asked if he could come over on New Years Day to go over what door to order, and he showed up ON TIME! Didn't charge us anything for coming on a holiday!! 2 weeks later, the door that he ordered came in and he installed it. Tyler took the old door away and assembled our beautiful new door in 2 hours. There was a hiccup on day it was scheduled to be put on, but the next day worked even better! My husband and I were pleased that the garage door even came in "a day late" because of COVID and all the delays happening with merchandise at all companies. Tyler is a hard worker and determined to give you the best possible customer service. We even called the day before install and the day of installation to make sure everything was a go. My husband and I were extremely impressed by how much knowledge he has and we asked for him to showed us a brochure of what garage door would look the best with our home. We are retiring and chose a window design on the garage door that would have clashed with the rest of our front windows of our home. After choosing his selection, we were elated by how great the door looks. Neighbors came over saying how wonderful the home looks now. My husband and I highly recommend Tyler to everyone!

Yelp5I discovered my garage door spring had broken at 4:30 in the afternoon. I called three different places and two said they couldn't get out to my place for at least a week. I spoke to Jim at Bear Creek Overhead Doors and he arranged for Tyler to come that night, even though that by the time he'd get to my house his work day would be long over done. He had other jobs planned and other emergency calls so he wasn't able to come out until 7, but I was so grateful for his kindness. He fixed my garage door up in no time at all. I will recommend them to everyone!

Yelp1I never leave reviews but I felt I had to warn other people. I had such a terrible experience with this company. Not only was the job not done well, but when I called to discuss my concerns with employee he told the job was done and to "call the owner to complain." Some times people have a bad day, and sometimes one employee might be a bad apple, but what really astounded me was the attitude of the owner. This man shouted at me through the phone and was very angry when I calmly told him my concerns. He shouted through the phone" my drivers didn't do anything wrong". I was shaken up and when my husband called to speak with him the man was no longer screaming but was still unapologetic. Please take your business somewhere else.

Angi5Gave him the go ahead & one hour & fifteen minutes later, my door was working great, so quiet, with a guarantee of his work. He had all parts needed on his truck. He's been in business for 30 years. Thanks, Jim Services Rendered: Garage door was sagging/collapsing. Another company said we need a new garage door - $1400 & next week before they could get to it. Jim at Bear Creek said he could repair with a new spring & adding a strut for $375, today, Saturday at 3:30 PM.
