Yelp5I called on a Thursday and spoke to William about replacing my at least 30 year old broken garage door openers. William provided suggestions on which openers to purchase and stated that he could be out the next day To install them. I scheduled the appointment, William and his son arrived within the time slot i was quoted. Within a few short hours I had 2 brand new garage door openers installed. They even made sure the spring tension on my old garage doors was properly adjusted as well as lubricating them. If I would have attempted to install them it probably ably would have taken me most of the day. Professional, on time, communicative and the labor rate was very acceptable. Highly recommend this company.

Yelp5THE ONLY LICENSED GARAGE DOOR SERVICE IN TOWN. Before finding Merced Garage Doors, I called a couple of other places. These other companies would not provide me with their license. When I called Merced Garage Doors, Will answered and when I inquired about a license, he provided it without question. Will is professional and knowledgeable. I got a new garage door and the quality of work provided was top tier. I didn't feel pressured into making a decision. He went as far as giving me options to let me decide on how I want to proceed. Once I made a decision, he was able to get me scheduled and get the job completed within a timely manner. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any future garage door needs. Highly recommended!!

Google5Merced Garage Doors came to Mariposa and gave us a quote for a few different options. We opted for 2 new insulated garage doors and we do not regret that decision. William and Alexander were very professional and did a great job with the installation. We are extremely happy with the doors and the job that they did.

Google5The gentleman that I spoke to yesterday from Merced Garage Doors was very nice and helpful. I explained my situation and sent pictures for some clarity. He was able to walk me through how to fix my own garage problem! Even better, he did not have to come out and I did not have to pay! I would like to thank him in person, but a solid 5 star review is even better on Google. I believe his name is William, so from the bottom of my heart William....THANK YOU for being so kind.

Google1This William guy disregarded the repair I wanted done and tried to upsell me on a whole new system. Then compared my ability to understand things to a 10 year old. All around rude and awkward.

Yelp5I had them come over to take a look at my garage door that wasn't opening anymore. They figured out what the problem was right away (the insulation was weighing down the door), explained it to me, gave me a price and estimate of how long the repair would take, and just took care of it right away. Very straightforward. They were knowledgeable and professional.

Google2If the guy driving the repair truck hauling the garage doors around, NOPE. TAILGATER, speed 70, careless of the cars beside him. Reck will happen this guy on the road 7/25/23 1:15pm on Santa Fe Atwater to Merced.

Yelp5The gentleman called right back and scheduled an appointment for the next week. He was prompt and clear about what options we had. He didn't recommend the most expensive solution, and gave us a range of choices. He installed the new door in just a few hours. It's quiet and works wonderfully.

Yelp5I just recently had my garage door replaced and was very impressed with the professionalism demonstrated. I was given a price and had no surprises along the way. When William did the install I mistakenly thought my old motor that opens it still worked but wasn't sure. He told me where I could purchase a reasonably priced new one and gave me the specific isle location in the store where to find this particular brand. He was exactly right on price and location within the store, which saved me alot of time. He was able to schedule me for that install right away and in no time I had me a new working garage door. Thank you William. I would highly recommend this business!

Google5Very nice guy who came and fixed my garage door in a timely manner! It ended up being a less expensive repair than the quoted price and he even helped me change the code on the pad outside the door. Super friendly, will definitely use again for any future work!

Google2William was responsive at first and installed MOST BUT NOT ALL of the work. It has been nearly two months since he said he would be back in a few days to complete the job. I've called, texted, emailed at yet no responses. Clearly, he does not take pride in his business to make sure the job is done. The photo shows lack of hardware at top and a screwdriver to hold the door in place/

Yelp5Waited a few weeks to review. We couldn't be happier with our new garage door. We needed everything replaced, door, railings, door opener. He always responded to our texts and was very prompt. Free estimate when others wanted to charge $90 just to look at the job. Very reasonable too. He installed everything in just a few hours. The garage door is so quiet I can't even hear it when I'm the house like the old door. Great job and thanks!

Yelp1It's not an option to give zero stars, but if I could I would!!! HORRIBLE!!!! Came and installed my door. With 48 hours (maybe less) we noticed the glass on one of the windows had cracked. We called the owner, he said he couldn't get back out for 2 weeks. During that time, we painted the door to match the other one and we noticed the door he installed was rubbing against the wood frame and scraping the paint off. When the owner (William) finally came back out, he said there was "no way" this was on him. It had to be a neighbor" or us doing yard work that broke the glass. When I explained the door was rubbing and needed to be adjusted he told me I was "wrong" and "I've been doing this 16 years" and wouldn't accept any fault or responsibility. He also wanted to charge me to adjust the door and replace the glass. He didn't offer any sort of manufacturer warranty because it "had to be (our) fault." Absolutely ridiculous! Horrible business ethic!!! Would never refer this business to anyone!!! Now I'll have to go to small claims court to get it fixed.

Yelp5Will came out on LABOR DAY because we had a door malfunction, I wasn't expecting that so I was extremely thankful. It was a goner so we got a new one ordered and we had the new one in on that Friday morning. Quick and painless. They were here first thing Friday got right to work and were done in no time. I LOVE my new door!
