Google5Great work! Advance came to my house for my third estimate and beat out their competitors. I was able to quickly get onto their schedule and they didn't try to upsell me on something I didn't need. They quickly removed my old garage door and got started on the new one and we're finished in only a few hours. The process was quick, the small business offers quick installs, a great transferable warranty and the finished product is a door I trust and love. Absolutely would recommend them to anyone looking for a new door on their garage. They even assisted in setting up my outside openers and their pricing was great. 10 out of 10 would recommend you contact them if you're in the market for a new door and or opener!

Yelp5The spring to our garage door snapped earlier this week. After calling around to a few local businesses we found that not only was Advanced Overhead Door, Inc. the friendliest and easiest to work with, but they also had the most reasonable rates in town. They offered to come out the very next day to make the repairs. That day wouldn't work for us so they offered another that would fit into our busy schedule. The morning of their visit they called to let us know a 2 hour time range that they would be able to come and called us when they were on their way. Our tech was very friendly and worked quickly to get the job done. He was even able to make some recommendations of what we needed to do to keep our garage door working smoothly going forward and let us know about their 90 day warranty. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to have work done on their garage door!

Yelp5Great company! Came to fix our garage door the same morning we called. I accidentally closed the door on my car while backing out of the garage. Knocked the door off kilter and broke the cable on one side. Tim, our tech, was quick, efficient, and friendly. And it didn't cost an arm and a leg right before Christmas!! Will definitely recommend to others or use them again.

Google5We had Advance Overhead Door help us install a new garage door opener. From the moment we called, and spoke directly to Jeff, we were able to get a next day appointment. He is very knowledgeable and did a great job with the installation. Reasonable price, highly recommend.

Google5My garage door conveniently (sarcasm) snapped a cable while leaving for work. Advanced garage door was able to come and fix it next morning and have it working in less than an hour. Very reasonable for a tight budget too. Very professional and experienced. Highly recommended.

Yelp5I can't say enough about how great it was to work with advanced overhead door. We really didn't want to have to make this call for our very broken and old garage door because we were scared about being treated as another line on an invoice-just money bags instead of people. However, we were pleasantly greeted with friendly people every step of the way. Not only were they friendly but very prompt in the service, and now I have a new garage door that I am proud of on our house, less than a week after our initial phone call. Friendly, prompt, and most of all, affordable. I would recommend this company to anybody looking for garage door repair or replacement. Stellar service!

Google5Yesterday I had Advanced repair a garage door opener. From the time I called the office and spoke with Mary they were prompt (service within 24 hours) professional and reasonably priced. Setting up the service call was easy and their technician (Jim) was very professional and explained what was wrong, how he needed to fix it and the service life I could expect from my original lift master unit. This is a family run business that clearly takes pride in what they do. I highly recommend them!

Google5Excellent work. Owner came out on a Saturday morning after I had a cable snap and throw the whole door out of wack. Had to mangle the heck out of it to get it closed the night prior. He knew exactly what to do, went right to work and had both cables replaced with new ones, along with better brackets, and realigned everything in less than an hour. Works good as it ever has now. Couldn't ask for anymore, perfect service and reasonable rates. Thanks!

Yelp5I can't say enough about the service at Advance Overhead Door. I was concerned because my cable snapped and the garage door would not close at all. This is an entrance directly into my condo, so I couldn't just leave it like that. I work second shift and had to have service at a time that was convenient for me. I called and Mary was super accommodating and sent over Jeff the next morning. Jeff was here early enough to get it done before I had to leave for work. He was really efficient. He said the wrong hardware was installed and replaced the whole thing. He even pounded in the siding which was coming off the garage frame. He did an excellent job and the price was right. Very satisfied customer.

Google5I called Advanced Overhead Door a few years ago when I couldn't get my detached garage door opened. My car was in it, which really left me in a pinch. Jim and Jeff were able to come out later that morning and installed a vault release on the door so I wouldn't be locked out again and got the opener working. My opener, cables, and other parts were pretty rust covered due to moisture in the garage. I really appreciated that they were able to clean and replace a few parts of the opener instead of trying to selling me a new one. When the time came a year or 2 later to replace the opener they were able to offer me a few different openers with flat pricing on the opener and install. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.

Angi5Very professional , friendly, honest and easy to get an appointment. They explained why the motor (1984) could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. Fair price for Liftmaster opener and labor. I'm very satisfied with the outcome and newer technology (eg. keyless entry). Would definitely use their services again. Services Rendered: Garagedoor opener needed to be replaced and updated to meet current standards.

Angi5I placed a call which was immediately answered by the son of this father-son service business. We arranged a time window for the same afternoon. He was on time and soon diagnosed the problem. I asked how old the current opener was and he was able to ascertain it was 14 years old. (I bought this house in August and suspected it was an older unit but it was working up until today.) I decided to have the entire unit replaced for a very reasonable price of $345. It took about 2 hours. Jim (the son) is very friendly and outgoing, which I enjoyed but if you are more reserved , just be prepared for his fun personality. Services Rendered: My garage door opener was malfunctioning. I needed a diagnosis and recommendation for how to proceed.

He could have fixed it, but I opted for a new one (the old one was super noisy.) Very happy with how quick it went. This is a very nice family run company. Angi5The garage door at my rental property came off of the track and would not close. I called Advance on Sunday night to leave a message and was told by the out of office message that they open at 8:00 AM and would get back to me then. I received the call within minutes of 8:00 and was told that they could be out that day and would give me a two hour window, which they did very quickly. The Technician arrived on time and called me on his way there. The work was completed very quickly and the Technician showed me what was done. He added a bracket so that I do not have the issue again. Great work at a great price. Services Rendered: Repaired garage door that was off track.

The technician was really friendly and explained we didn't need a new opener, but instead cleaned and maintained our door and opener. It is working great. He was honest and explained that our opener is old, but may work for some time. They were easy to schedule and Mary was very friendly and accommodating. When my door opener is ready for replacement in the future, I'm calling Advanced Overhead Door. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and fairly priced. Yelp5I needed new door, rails the whole deal. My initial contact was with Mary and she was very helpful and knowledgeable so I set an app't for a quote. I liked what they offered much more so than others and an order was placed. Everything was great, the special order door was delivered when promised and put in on time too. They took the old door and rails and the garage was left clean. It door and frame looks great and the motor is quiet and faster, plus it has two huge lights, big improvement! There were no hidden costs or bad surprises either. Wish all my home improvement experiences were this perfect!

Angi3They did come out and fix the door and replaced the motor. They came out later and they refused to take responsibility for the fact that they had come out and fixed the door that way. They did come out and fix it, but they claimed someone had done an awful job, and denied that it was them. Services Rendered: The garage door was stuck, which broke the engine by overworking it; the motor needed to be replaced.

Services Rendered: The garage door was stuck in the down position (thankfully with the car on the outside!) with what I self-diagnosed as a broken spring. When I called Advance, I made an appointment for 2 days later. I was told I would be called in the morning with a 2 hour window time-frame. I received that call in the morning and Jim arrived within the designated time. I was given an estimate before the work was started. The work was done efficiently and for what I believe was a fair price. This is a family-owned business that believes in customer service and doing a good job. I hope I don't need to call them often but would definitely call Advance again if I am in need of garage door repair services.

Yelp4You never want to call for servicing or repair on your garage door, because it is always going to cost money... Today I had to cave and make that call - due to a rusted tension wire that snapped and was keeping the door from closing. The initial phone call was picked up by Mary - a very nice and friendly lady. Initially I was told it would probably be the next day before Jeff could get out and service the door. Luckily, she called back in a few minutes and said he could be over in about an hour or so to get it taken care of. Jeff arrived in about 20-30 minutes and got to work right away, much quicker than I had anticipated! I know I could have taken care of it myself (eHow anyone? http://www.ehow.com/how_4856631_fix-tension-cables-garage-door.html) but I didn't have the time to do it, nor did I have all the tools readily available. It took Jeff about an hour - he actually replaced the brackets that hold the tension cables to the door and cables on both sides. He also lubricated everything and made the door sound brand new! Aside from bit of rust on the door, you would think that it is brand new! It now hums quieter than I thought possible with this old beast, and rolls up and down extremely smoothly!
