Google5The other evening, my wife and I heard a loud SNAP like something metal breaking in the garage. I went and looked, but could find nothing amiss. The next morning, however, I went to leave for work and the garage door would not open. I called Joe Wilde and they immediately diagnosed it as a broken spring. Since both cars were trapped in the garage, they sent someone over early that afternoon. I apologize for not remembering his name, but he looked a bit like Santa Claus. As promised, he called when he was on his way and, when he arrived, he was very pleasant and efficient. He got the door open so I could get the cars out. It took a bit of time to change the springs given the damage, but he got the problem fixed and the door is now running smoothly again. The price was right in the estimate range they gave me when I called. We are very happy with the work he did and the experience with the company.

Google5Mike just left my home and I am immediately writing a review because I am so happy with the service. Everything was excellent, from scheduling a date and time, to Mike arriving when I was told he would, to the work that was done, and finally the price. I would also like to note that I was told exactly what the problem was, how it was corrected and other tips to keep my doors operating well.

Google5MIke McGowan replaced the springs on my old wooden two-car garage door today, Monday the 22nd. He was fast and thorough - set it up for minimum effort to raise or lower the door by hand and, of course, with less stress on the door opener. The operation is also quieter by far than it's been in the 33 years I've lived here. Mike explained the principles guiding the steps he took and was very good to converse with. If I could give five and a half stars, I would.

Google5Have been working with Joe Wilde for years and so when we had a little "altercation" between home owner and garage door they were our first call! Busiest time of the year but Tony, hearing my panic wasted no time and here, in a timely manner was the expertise of a seasoned, 47 year, best ever, Michael McGowan!!!! Crisis averted!!! He quickly diagnosed the problem and made it possible for us to use the door until the new part could be ordered. We are so grateful and will recommend highly

Yelp5I called them the day after Christmas and they ended up getting Mike out to me the same day (hours later). He quickly diagnosed the problem and got to work. My garage door went from unusable to working better than ever in a few hours... it's so quiet now!

Google5The springs broke for our garage door. We called Joe Wilde Co., and a service technician (Mike) arrived that afternoon. Replaced the springs, tuned up the opener and door. Cannot say enough for the pleasant experience form the office scheduler and the technician. Would recommend Joe Wilde Company to anyone . Thank You Roger Berg

Google5I called Wilde because my garage door had trouble going up. I suspected the springs had weakened as it is an old door and I did not want to deal with that problem because of safety. Zach fully explained what could cause that and that a technician would come out and look at it. He gave me the cost of the service call and part cost would be extra. Mike the technician called just before coming and was very prompt in our appointment. He looked at the door and operation and stated it was an old door and opener but it works. He gave me an explanation of the tests he did and suggested the door needed to be lubricated and the opener adjusted. He said that I will eventually need a new door and opener and gave me a estimated cost of everything. I appreciated that he made my old door work and did not try to sell me something I really did not need that day and now I know what cost I will be looking at when the door is not repairable. I only paid the fair service call price and not thousands for a new door. When it finally comes time to replace the door and opener I will definitely be calling Wilde to do the job.

Yelp5Attention to my needs, budget, time, etc, etc. They have always served my personal home and needs, but came through as heros with capes, on a house I recently listed and had to fix up for the Seller while he was out of country. I can't thank them enough.

Google5Our garage door broke, and we went to Joe Wilde for parts. The two gentlemen in the service department were awesome! They took the time to help us understand what we needed to do to fix it, and gave us the right parts. Highly recommend this company. If, and when we have to replace the door, I will definitely go here. Thank you ever so much for the help you gave us today.

Google5I was extremely pleased with my experience with Joe Wilde Co. My project entailed replacing original industrial looking doors on my detached steel garage. The ordering process was smooth and working with Garret was easy. His communication was exceptional. The installation happened to fall on a brutally hot day but the crew of Joshua and Chris were obviously experienced and did a great job. I highly recommend Joe Wilde Co.

BBB5My house was built in the 30s. To get an opener for the garage door, a couple of rollers were missing, there were a couple of other issues. One place told me they wouldn't be able to get parts due to the age of the hardware, I'd need to replace the door. Joe Wilde quoted a great price on the opener, said they'd figure out something to fix the door so an opener would operate properly. They actually had some NOS parts in their warehouse, and was able to fix it fine. Very fair price for the repairs and it's been fine for the last 5 years. Now, it tells me there's an obstruction and won't close. They could have just said, we'll send someone out. Instead, he gave me a couple of simple things to try first. These guys are so honest. Pretty sure I had a situation a couple years ago that was a simple fix. I can't recommend them enough!! Thank you Joe Wilde team!!

Yelp5Due to excessive slack, the tension wire that connects to our garage door opener's chain would bounce vertically 3 or 4 inches, up and over a metal flange, causing the door to jam. 2 other firms wouldn't even look at the problem without charging a 'diagnoses fee' in addition to their service call fee and fees for the repair. Joe Wilde Company charged me the normal service call fee, watched me demonstrate the problem, and then had it fixed in 30 minutes. The opener has worked perfectly ever since! Doesn't get better than that.

Angi5Joe Wilde Co was very responsive. They were able to come out the next business day. They repaired my garage door quickly and completely. They also did an inspection of the door and lubrication of the door and opener. Plus, gave me advice on extra steps I could take to keep the garage door in good repair. Yelp5The garage door torsion spring needed adjustment. This adjustment should be done by a person skilled in the technique needed and with proper tools. A torsion spring can have a lot of potential energy, so safety is a concern in making the adjustment. Excellent service was provided by the Joe Wilde technician, and the cost was very reasonable. I recommend this service provider which has been in business many years.

Angi5I called at 8:00 In the morning and they were able to get someone out between 10:30 and 1:30 the same day. Richard B was my technician and he was very professional and in addition to fixing the spring checked out both garage doors and made sure they were working properly. He explained everything to me. Angi5I called Joe Wilde Company to fix a broken spring on my garage door. Within an hour a technician showed up to assess the problem. When Richard Bourget arrived he assessed the problem of a broken spring. Richard was very professional and said he didn’t understand why there was only one spring on the garage door when it was installed. Richard weighed the garage door and said it was too heavy for one spring and suggested installing two springs for this door, which I had to agree with him. Richard worked diligently and professionally installing the springs and then adjusted the door. Richard is a great technician and very knowledgeable. Angi5When our garage door opener stopped working, I called Joe Wilde on a Saturday morning. They said that they could have somebody at our house on Monday. Rick B showed up, looked up at the at the loose chain and diagnosed the problem. He quoted me a price to repair the existing opener or replace it. I chose the repair. The repair took less time than estimated, so the charge was less than the quote. He also showed me how to lubricate the door and explained the importance of that. I was quite pleased with Joe Wilde, again! Services Rendered: repair garage door opener

Yelp5This is our second house and the third time that we've use Joe Wilde Company for garage door repairs. Our experience has been excellent so I haven't even had to consider anyone else. On all three occasions that we've called for repairs, Joe Wilde has been able to send someone the same day. All of the technicians have been friendly and reliable. When I needed to reset my garage remote after one repair, I called and the person I spoke to on the phone helped me immediately. We've had to replace the springs on the garage doors at both of the houses we've owned, and the sensors in our current home. Joe Wilde has always advised us as to the options available for repair - both what they recommend and what is most economical, even if those weren't the same. I can't recommend this company enough for garage door repairs.

Yelp5I called yesterday, had an appointment today, got a text and phone call when they were 10-15 minutes away. They showed up, diagnosed the problem immediately and had the parts to fix it. They were also very nice. Definitely would call them again next time!

Yelp5Our garage door stopped working. I called Joe Wilde Co, and had excellent service. Zach took my call, and initially tried to troubleshoot the problem over the phone. He spent a decent amount of time trying to figure if it was a simple issue I could take care of, so I wouldn't have to pay for a service call. This was all him trying to save me money. Then, scheduled his repairman and let me know who to expect. Mike was great. He was thorough and after he fixed the problem, he made sure our other door was fine. I only had to pay for an hour service call, but felt he made sure everything was in good working order, beyond what he was called out for. I highly recommend this company.

Yelp5The house we bought in 2015 came with a garage door that is a glutton for punishment. The technicians from Joe Wilde have fixed every issue at a reasonable price, on at least four occasions. Every one of the repair men have been respectful, friendly, professional and honest. I can't believe we haven't had to replace the darn door, to be honest! As long as the Joe Wilde folks tell me it can be fixed, I'll keep fixing it, and I'll trust them to tell me when it has finally bit the dust.

Yelp5This is the 2nd time we've had them out to do work on our doors. I'd been putting off getting the ancient sensors replaced but my son finally destroyed one so I had no choice. They gave their hourly rate on the phone in advance which I appreciated. They were even available the day after Christmas. They charged a reasonable price, came out the very next day and even helped me get the homelink setup and working in my car. They also gave me some good yearly maintenance tips. Last time I had some other guys out and felt kinda like I got hosed as they tried to sell me stuff I k EE I did t need. I feel very good about this experience.
