Quote price was reasonable and able to install within two days. Ricardo came promptly at 8am. He sprayed, lubricated all parts carefully and installed the new garage door. My lift master opener & torsion springs are about 20 years old so after talking with Louis on the phone about options, I decided it was time to replace the opener, torsion springs, all the rollers & the cables. Our garage door had a spring snap due to a broom handle being in the way when I had tried closing the door.. It took me a couple of weeks looking at our crooked garage door that wouldn't close all the way before I called for service. Luis was able to come out the same day. He was very courteous and professional, and said no problem when I showed him the door. 25 minutes later it was fixed, and he had adjusted the tension as well, and had oiled all hinges. He explained all he had done, which I greatly appreciated. He diagnosed our other door that wasn't working as well. We will definitely be calling him back in the future and I highly recommend his company. Did I say he was courteous and professional? Yes, yes I did. It goes to mention this again, and he was respectful to me as a woman. Too often I've been snubbed as a woman homeowner by workmen. I definitely recommend.
My garage door spring decided to snap in half on me this Saturday morning around 8:30am. I called APGDS at 8:40am, Luis and his son arrived by 10am. Luis evaluated the job right away and gave me a price and stuck to it. Luis was very professional, even handled my partially deaf (yelling) father-in-law very well. Luis is a true professional in his craft, very efficient (30 min job), and extremely knowledgeable. He didn't try to over-sell me on any extra products even though one of my garage door panels is slightly cracked. He corrected the hard shutting issue we were having, which I had no idea was even an issue. I would highly recommend his services to anyone in need of garage door services and repairs. I called a professional garage service after initially reaching out to different company. The other company had given me a changing answer for pricing, and what service it would provide. I'm really glad that I chose to go with Luis and Professional garage service. He answered the phone, even though it was past work hours on a Friday night. He told me to text or call back when you're ready to make an appointment after asking me a number of questions about which type of garage door I have and giving me a solid estimate on what his service would provide . Then, the next morning, I did text him, and he called me back very quickly to set up a time. One of my garage door springs had broken. Luis and his son professionally showed up right on time and began work on the broken spring. He explained to me that the existing spring wasn't really installed right, with too much on one side and not enough on the other. The uneven spring was more prone to break. It was harder on the engine. In short time, he had two new springs installed on the door, and they were equal size. At that point, he began to show me how to lubricate by spraying the spring and hinges to prevent the friction and dryness that can lead to it breaking, I appreciated the general maintenance tips on the garage door as I was unaware of these. He also was kind enough to leave a can of spray so that I could maintain my garage door throughout the year. He also was able to help me with a minor issue, I was having with the door opener. I would highly recommend Luis and his company to anyone with a garage door issue. He has been in the business for several years and understands what it takes to repair, and is professional, on time, and stays with his quoted price.
