Yelp5Ramiro to the rescue once again! Garage door spring broke the evening before, called Ramiro the following morning, he was gracious enough to come to our aid within an hour. Competent, reasonably priced, and just a good guy.

Yelp5Ramiro from Amigo Garage Doors is awesome! He installed a new garage door for my parents about 10 years ago and his pricing was very fair. We had an issue with the door not closing yesterday afternoon so we called him and he came out today to fix it at no charge! Yelp5Eric and Brian finished the installation of Wi-Fi/LED Garage Door Opener assembly, Door springs and Rollers in a very short time. Garage Door stopped making any noise. We were glad that we chose Amigo Garage Doors as our installer.

Yelp5I noticed that one of my cables on my garage door looked frayed. I contacted a handful of garage door companies. Mr. Ruelas's quote was reasonable. I asked for his next available appointment and he said between 8 and 9 the next morning. He showed up exactly at 8am. He replaced both cables and adjusted the spring. The cables themselves cost nearly nothing and it's a quick job for an expert. He charged me exactly what he quoted the day before. (Hilariously, one of the larger garage door companies I got a quote from wanted nearly 4x as much for this simple job. No doubt they would have attempted to up-sell me on a new opener.) As an aside: he mentioned that the appointment after mine was in Pacifica, so I think he is willing to work all over the bay area. The bottom line is that, in the future, I will only ever call Mr. Ruelas to service my garage door. I feel lucky that I met him to have my cable replaced. I am writing this review to make sure that he gets lots of work so that in 5 years when I need a new spring, he will still be in the garage door business. We all need capable, honest repair experts like Mr. Ruelas.

Yelp5The owner Ramiro came and helped me replace my broken garage door springs. Really nice guy, had a great conversation while he did some good work. I will look to him to for future garage work.

Yelp5I chose Amigo Garage Doors to change our opener this March. Very professional, neat work, and very fair price. I ended up letting the gentleman also change the rollers, strings, and rubber base for me. So far, so good, everything works perfectly, and he also provides a 1-year labor warranty. If you want a professional and affordable garage door service, I recommend Amigo Garage Doors.

Yelp5Needed to update my garage door motors to more modern (wifi/back up battery). I found some Genie garage openers on sale at a wholesale store and purchased the 3 For my 3 car garage. Got quotes for other contractors and their prices were a bit on the high side. Searched good ol yelp and came across amigo garage doors. I called them got a quote for paying in cash. Waaaaaaay more reasonable price. Showed up on time and cleaned up fairly well after themselves. New garage doors work fine so far and no issues. Highly recommend.
