Absolutely the best company that installed or repaired anything at my parents' house (built in 1963) after my dad let things go because of his Alzheimer's. And that place needed a LOT of repairs and updates! RCS Door Service not only sold me the best doors anyone made for a great price (much better than the best Costco had at the time), but in the years from then until I sold the place, all four of the new Garage Doors opened and closed with ease every single time... The remote control ones worked perfectly, and the manually lifted ones out back felt lighter than a shopping bag of groceries!! Plus, all the doors had such good insulation, that honestly, my dad's little shop building out back seemed warm in the Winter and cool in the Summer with no heating or cooling at all, and everything stored out there stayed clean and like new. The owner and his employees were respectful, patient, professional, hard working, and really knew how to install those big doors correctly. I am especially thankful to RCS Door Service, because too many people took advantage of me or my parents during that time.

I've had Rod work on my garage door a couple of times. The last time he installed a new door with a new opener, I was way overdue for a new door. I'm so happy with the door and quieter garage door opener. He is honest, dependable, highly professional and very helpful if you don't understand something. My teenage son once said there should be more men like him! His prices are fair and I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs work on their garage door or needs a new one. Thank you Rod

I have used them since I first moved to Modesto in 2012. My cousins referred them to me . Rod is professional and a very nice person. He is also honest and never tries to over sell anything. I highly recommend them to service your garage doors.

I called Rod on a Thursday about problems with my garage door, he was out the next day, had replaced two old rollers and oiled and inspected and service my door. Rod serviced my garage door a few years ago, and it's worked great since (older overhead paneled door and opener with unknown age). Friday night the spring broke, and Rod responded back that he would be out Monday, and would give me a 2 hr window. He called promptly Monday, before 8am, and was out at the time he stated 9along with a notification call prior that he was on his way). I find the service great, prices terrific, and knowledge spot on! I highly recommend RCS for your garage door needs!

I will never ever do service with them again. Faulty cheap parts. I was not pleased with the attitude and when he left, he went speeding off in my neighborhood. I'm talking FAST!!! Please think about the children in neighborhoods.

He noticed that my door needed some maintenance and the original installer (Sears) did not install a stabilizer bar correctly. He took that bar off and reinstalled in a stronger place, oiled, balanced and did a bunch of other stuff. My door is better now than I have ever had from original installations. He was on time, professional, explained everything I inquired about, and cleaned up his own mess and packaging afterwards. I haven't seen this kind of customer service in over a decade! He is TOTALLY worth a little more than the other guys :) Services Rendered: He went above and beyond to install a super quiet and quality garage door opener after my old Craftsman was no longer operating.

The builder of our homes provided cheap, poorly installed garage doors. They all began failing and crumpling within months of each other. I had mine replaced and installed by Sears after having a horrible experience through Home Depot. A couple of months later my next door neighbor's garage door broke. The men that came to replace their door were heads and tails more personable, knowledgeable, and efficient than Sears. I asked for their card and they came over and stapled it to the wall next to my garage door opener. That was brilliant! No chance of losing it! 6 years later my garage door opener stops working. I called RCS from their cars next to the opener button. He came out on time, did extra work, fixed what was about to be a serious issue from poor installation techniques and was a nice guy! I was beginning to think knowledgeable companies with good customer service was obsolete until I hired RCS :)

Same day service. Rod explained the repair and the cost of the service. He also pointed out things to keep an eye on, but did not try to sell services or products that were not yet needed. His emphasis was on extending the life of the garage door for as long as possible before replacing. Services Rendered: Repaired garage door.

Called and left a message. Returned call the next day. Made appointment for Monday(it was a Friday). Called ahead of time. Showed up on time and went right to work. I had never had an inspection of the door so he seen there was a crack in the bottom door. He added an additional railing for $50.00 but it would prevent my door from cracking and having to replace the whole thing. He took about 45 minutes doing the job. Did a tune up of my wiring and the belt drive. He also anchored down my garage door sensors. He left his card and I paid cash. Services Rendered: Repair broken garage spring for automatic door.

First of all, Rod was very responsive, provided an estimate on the phone, which was way less then I originally thought it would be, an informed me on the call that the $160.00 would not only include the spring repair/replacement, but that it would also include a full safety check (i.e. lube, verify all other parts where in good condition, etc.). He informed me up front that if anything needed to be replaced, he'd let us know and that there could be additional charges. After all was said and done, inspected, etc... it still only cost $160.00 total. This is a very reasonable price for great service! I will call Rod in the future, if I ever have any garage issues. Thank you, Rod! Services Rendered: Rod fixed a broken spring on our garage door, which completely spilt in half. He also did a full inspection on all other parts and lubed everything.

I just purchased a new home in bad need of a garage door repair. It had a broken spring and was all crooked with rollers popping off and just plain neglected. I called RCS and Rod called and offered to come out same day, but made an appointment for a couple of days later. He showed up on time and got straight to work. He replaced the the spring and made that beat up door work better than any door I have ever owned, for less than the estimate! I will be using RCS in the future for any work needed.
