Gilbert was very friendly, punctual, and did quick quality work. He explained why our door was having issues and his feedback felt genuine. He loves his work and his family. The price was very competitive with other quotes and he responded back faster than every other company. I would recommend and use his service for future garage door related issues.

Our old Genie garage door opener was working just fine, but I wanted a new one with a back up battery in case of a power outage. I called, Gilbert picked up quickly, talked me through my options and gave me a reasonable estimate. He was very knowledgeable about the products he offers, and sounded confident and passionate about his work. I wasn't in any rush to get this done, but he had an opening the very next day! Gilbert and Jacob arrived exactly on time, got to work quickly, and estimated it would take about 45 minutes to an hour to complete, which was spot on and very impressive! (When I first moved into this house, it took me an hour and many Youtube videos to figure out how to reset and reprogram the keypad and remotes!) They hauled away the old opener and chain, installed the fancy Liftmaster with camera, programed the remotes, cleaned up and had me download the MyQ app. The opening and closing of the garage door is much quieter now and everything is working smoothly. I am a very happy customer, I'll be recommending you to anyone who asks, and I will definitely be in touch for any garage door help (which will probably be a very long time from now, given the quality of the product and the work you did). Thank you again Gilbert and Jacob!

Gilbert answered the phone quoted, and scheduled all on the first call which was shorter than 5 minutes. I had a broken torsion coil that could have wrecked my whole week but Gilbert came out and fixed it the same day. He was very professional, fast, and affordable. He also tightened up the belt and a few other things and didn't bill me any extra. Would give a 6th star if they had one.

Responded to me quickly after I did something really stupid and played with a part that was under tension from the coil spring. Just leave it alone. Call the professionals. He ended up having to do a lot of work on the springs, one of which was broken. He was very prompt and professional, and the price was reasonable. Now I know who to call.

One of the springs of my garage door broke. I needed service as soon as possible. Gilbert of American Quality Garage Doors came to the rescue. He's very professional, responds to inquiries promptly, and provided service the next day. He showed up first thing in the morning on time, replaced the springs, worked on it with utmost quality, and gave some advice on keeping the garage door and springs maintained to maximize its life. My garage door was up and running again in no time. I highly recommended them.

I came out to the garage to drive out to pick up something yesterday afternoon, and the garage door would only open about 3' before the opener gave up. It didn't take more than 10 seconds to see that one of the two springs on the sectional door was broken. That explained the sound we heard in the garage the night before - like something fell over or snapped - the dogs and I couldn't find it, so it couldn't have been "that bad". I got the 6' folding ladder and muscled the door up high enough to slide the ladder over and prop open the door so I could back the car out. When I got back, it was around 3, so I started calling garage door companies on Yelp. The one I used before isn't in the Yelp Top 10 list anymore and they didn't answer their phone anyway. I called the Top 3 in the list and leaving messages before I got to "American Quality Garage Doors" - they should have been at the #1 spot. They called back in less than 5 min and said they could either be there at 5pm that day or I'd have to wait 2 days until Friday. But, if they came that day at 5pm, there'd be no "after-hours / emergency charge" because I was calling at 3pm. I took the 5pm spot. About 10 min later (about 3:30), he called and told me "I can be there in 15 min - will that work?" Hell ya, that'd work great. He showed up, assessed the situation, pulled out the correct parts and tools, and completed the replacement / repair in less the 30 min. And he lubed the door's wheels, cables and left a can of spray lube and told me I should lube at least once a year. Highly recommended!

Our old single panel garage door broke and left us stranded, luckily we were able to get it closed for the night while I reached out to garage door companies. Gilbert was the first to respond to my message and talked through the options of fixing the door (involving ordering old hardware) and replacing the door entirely. He came on a weekend to measure our door, and he gave us an extremely competitive bid as well as the fastest turnaround time for the job. We now have a new sectional garage door that is safer, more secure, and better looking than what we had before. I highly recommend working with Gilbert for anyone who needs any work done on their garage door!

I can't say enough positve about American Quality Garage doors.... Integrity! They tell you what they are going do and they do it, at a good price!! My garage door crashed on Friday night (12 Feb 21). I called on Saturday, 13 Feb and spoke with Manuel. He was trying to leave to take his family to Monterrey, but he took time to speak with me and educate me. He told me Gilbert would be by on Monday (15 Feb / President's Day). Gilbert came in the morning, a holiday! Measured, provided details about the recommend door and opener (including new legal requirements for the opener). He stated he maybe able to get the new door on Thursday (18 Feb). WOW! Gilbert called me on Thursday and confirmed he recieved the door and would install it on Saturday morning. They installed my door and opener by noon. They cleaned up and removed all the debris; One week from the time I first spoke with them, including a holiday !!! I have no complaints. I wish more companies were more like American Quality Garage Doors! I had gotten a few quotes and information on the previous Saturday, but I was impressed with Manuel's honesty and the fact he took time to chat with me at length. Other quotes were higher for the same door/opener and they wanted a minimum of 2 weeks to get a door. All of the employees, act and speak with the same honesty and integrity as the owner!
