Lewis and Tony did an exceptional job installing a new garage door opener for us. Took the extra time to explain the features and how to take care of the opener, door hinges and how to protect the weather striping. Even the outside of our door which faces South and always in the sun. They arrived on time, finished in a timely safe manner. Thank you Lewis and Tony.
We had a new garage door installed yesterday and things couldn't have gone better. From initial contact through the final installation, this was a first-rate experience. Lewis and Tony we uniformly helpful at every step of the way and we love the new door. Beyond the purchase and installation, Lewis spent considerable time in explaining good garage door maintenance: what to do and when to do it in the interest of optimizing the life of the door and component parts. He did this with the full understanding that he makes service calls to customers who do not follow proper maintenance and service protocol. Put another way, he provided solid advice on do-it-yourself maintenance that he would otherwise get paid for. I would strongly recommend Delaware Door Company to anyone needing a garage door. The prices are highly competitive and the quality of the productive is superior. More important, though, our experience with Tony and Lewis couldn't have been better.
Lewis and Tony were amazing. Lewis called me back on a Sunday and showed up the next day just as he said he would. He assessed the situation and Tony had my new spring installed while Lewis left to pick up my new garage door opener. They had my garage door back up in working in less than 2 hours, with exactly the brand of garage door opener I wanted. Lewis lived up to his past reviews and then some. He knows his stuff and even provided some helpful tips on maintaining all parts of the garage door. I will not hesitate to call Lewis again for any of my garage door needs. Lewis came out the same day we called him. He fixed our garage door, keypad and remotes at a reasonable price. He also gave us a primer on how to take care of the garage door and opener to extend their life. Would definitely use him again.

The spring on our garage door broke and we called at least 10 other places that were booked a week out before contacting Lewis. He luckily had another repair not too far from our location and was able to make it out in the afternoon. He was great about communicating when he would be here and arrived at the exact time he said. He worked quickly and efficiently, even giving us tips as to how to keep the springs lubricated and what we needed to do with the garage door to prolong its life. He's a one-man small business, has been doing this for 30 years so he knows his stuff, and in talking to him, I found out that he'd been working 12-hours a day, six days a week since the pandemic started. I would much rather support him than a chain company. He was honest and dependable, and the cost to repair the spring was less than I thought it would be. We'll be using him again when it's time to replace the seal on the garage door.
Called Lewis after calling company who had serviced door previously, he answered right away. He was able to come within 30 minutes and replaced my bottom seal within 15 to 20 minutes. Outstanding service and very knowledgeable! Very reasonable on price. Thanks!
Outstanding, couldn't be happier. I first ordered a door from Lowe's and called Delaware doors just to come out and install the Lowe's purchased door, after seeing the door that Lowes dropped off Lewis advised me that he could supply me a much better door At a much better price with that being said it was the best decision that I could have made it turned out that I paid the same amount for an insulated door and garage door opener installed As I had paid just for the uninsulated door from Lowe's.. I am just glad I remembered lewis bright's name from where he had installed garage doors for me over 20 years ago they did a perfect job then and they did a perfect job today nice neat orderly job by two very polite gentleman .
