My garage door and motor was very old and terrible, and the whole thing needed to be replaced. I contacted Thomas, and he came out that day to give me an estimate. I felt the estimate was fair and reasonable and hired him to do the work. Thomas was very easy to work with, and didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. He came to replace it and I love it! He cleaned up after he was done and offered to help me connect it to Wi-Fi so I could operate the door with my phone. He is a man of few words, and is very nice and professional. I recommend him.

I had garage door cables pop off and the door would not open. The owner came out late afternoon on Halloween to help me out. Installed new springs and resolved the issue in less than an hour, charged a very reasonable price, lubed all doors, and gave me helpful advice to plan for eventual replacement since my units are almost 30 years old. Awesome service! Highly recommend.

We just had the absolute best experience with Thomas at 1st Affordable Garage Door! One of our window panes in our garage door broke a while back. We had several companies provide an assessment but all insisted the only fix was to completely replace the door. Thomas responded to our inquiry in record time! He was extremely knowledgeable, affordable, AND he came out on a holiday (despite us insisting we were fine with any other day). He does do replacements and installations but prefers repair over replace when possible and as long as the cost is worth it in comparison to full replacement. He was extremely responsive, courteous, easy to work with, super fast, clean, and an all around GOOD GUY (he even did a quick tune up before leaving)!! We cannot recommend him highly enough and truly hope this helps his business thrive. He is the owner/operator and is a veteran. If anybody is in need, email or call Thomas!

They helped me replace an old garage door and new openers. They were very knowledgeable about pros and cons of different styles of openers. I had a very high ceiling in my garage and they told me about high lift garage doors. The doors now lift vertically and I have eliminated all the low hanging horizontal tracks that look bad and take up so much space. While it is a bit more of an investment, I would really recommend it for someone with higher garage ceilings. They were on time and communicated when they were going to arrive. They also cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them.

1st Affordable Garage Door does business the way I wish everyone would! Very responsive. Honest. Great communication. Our cable broke on our very old garage door. Rather than trying to talk me into a whole new door, Thomas talked me through all my options in a straightforward and upfront way. He obviously has the knowledge and does good work. In the end we decided to just have it repaired for now. Very fair pricing. Came out within a few days and got it done quickly. We will DEFINITELY be using them when the time comes to replace with a new one.

Thomas was very informative, gave me a real quote, showed up on time, finished the job, cleaned up the mess (they actually tore out all the bad wood and replaced all the frame and header wood with good quality pressure treated lumber). All it took was one e mail, an appointment for inspection/quote, set an install date - all of this was completed within a week and one day. Highly recommend this company.
