Angi5They were great and the job went great. They were reliable and cost competitive. I hope that we never have to use them again in the future but we would if we need to. Services Rendered: We used Nashua Overhead Doors in August or September of last year for taking out two old garage doors and installing two new garage doors for us.

Angi5After the snow storm my garage door froze to the ground. When I tried to open it, it pulled the metal stabilizer bar away from the wall. I was stuck at my home for two days and he dropped everything to fix it. He was able to fix the bar so that the metal would not damage my car and reattach to the wall securely. He is very professional. I appreciated how he dropped everything to come for this emergency. The wall looks great, you can't even tell where the damage occurred. On his truck they have a logo that says "We do it right the first time." and we will use him in the future. Services Rendered: They came out to repair the garage door.

Angi5The job was done quickly and the door is now working fine. Services Rendered: Garage door would not open. It had a broken spring. The spring was replaced.

Angi4garage door was only closing halfway. noticed that the cable on the right side had snapped. needed to have it repaired that day (keep cold out, security reasons). nashua overhead door was the first place i called (they were recommended by angie's). they came within and hour of my calling them. eric bouley (who did the work) explained what he needed to do. i asked him how much it would cost. he gave me an estimate. i asked if he would give a discount because i got his name from angie's list. he was surprised that' s where i got his name from. he decided to give me a $10 discount. he completed the work within an hour. Services Rendered: garage door was closing only halfway. replace the spring on the right side, the drive cables on both sides (needed for the sides of the door to open/close evenly), the rollers on either side of the door track and the bottom hardware on either side of the bottom.

Angi5Great. In addition to performing the work hired for, he also lubricated the rollers and pulleys in all three garage door and helped me program my car to work with all three as well. He spent time giving me detailed instructions so I could later do my husband's car when he returned home as we had been unable to program them to open the garage doors. The service person showed me the "trick" we had been missing to make it work. He was very friendly and helpful. He spent time politely answering all of my questions. Services Rendered: Replaced the circuit board in one of my garage door openers and installed a wireless keypad.

Angi5Great service & communication! The serviceman told me things about garage doors I never knew (I do consider myself generally handy, but have little exposure to garage doors since I've only owned 1 for 20 years). He had strong practical knowledge as well as awareness of the industry, suppliers, etc. The turn-around, price, quality of service, & clean-up were all strong. I'll probably have them do the additional struts soon & will call them first for any other needs. Services Rendered: Garage door would not open one cold Monday morning & I found that both springs on our 16' door were broken (20 years old- now I know that was pushing it). I called NOD around 8:30 am- they gave me a quote on the phone, & they were at the house by 11:30 to get the door up & cars out of the garage. The serviceman measured the springs & ordered replacement springs- said he would have them in a day or two. The NOD office called that evening to advise that the serviceman would be back late the next (Tuesday) morning. Tuesday morning he arrived with the replacement springs, installed & adjusted them, lubed the rollers, bearings, & adjusted the automatic door opener force. He also advised & provided a quote for $175 concerning the need to install 2 additional struts across the door panels since the door was sagging as it pulled up. He explained this would extend the life of the door- I will likely take them up on this soon.
