Google5I only write reviews when I believe a person or company has gone above and beyond for me. If you are looking for a garage door expert with fair prices, integrity and an old fashioned work ethic who actually shows up when he says he will, Bob Gagne is your five star man! I met Bob three years ago when I first purchased my 120+ year old farmhouse and wanted to install automatic garage doors. I met with a few garage door companies before Bob. He told me that he didn't feel the old structure would support the tension of a new automatic door without additional support structures. Meanwhile, the other contractors were quick to take the job in spite of my concern about the age of the garage and its obvious structural concerns. Instead, Bob fixed the existing doors with new springs, greased it up and realigned the tracks. He charged me $35!!!! I didn't think you could get anything for $35 anymore. Three years later I purchased a new car that wouldn't fit in the garage so had to bite the bullet and renovate the garage. My contractor referred me to Bob who I remembered favorably. Bob suggested a change from two doors to one that he believed was a better fit aesthetically and he was right! He ordered and installed a custom door and automatic opener that is so quiet I have to look out the window to be sure it's working. Bob's prices were very fair and he showed up exactly when he said he would, unlike my contractor who delayed the project by months. Bob didn't leave a screw behind! Choose Bob. You won't be sorry.

Google5I recommend Rob Gagne to anyone looking to get garage doors. He was a joy to work with and very accommodating to our schedule. There was great communication from start to finish and the work was excellent. I can't say enough good things.

Google5Rob installed a pair of Haas mahogany embossed doors on my garage. The door openers are super quiet and I get tons of compliments on the doors. Rob is just an outstanding person to do business with. Highly recommend.

Google5Rob installed two garage doors along with openers for us. He was timely, professional, and did a great job! We couldn't have been happier! It has been almost 4 years since the installation and they are still working like new! We have never had any issues other than one remote that quit working after 2 years and Rob came out and replaced it for us for free of charge as it was under warranty.

Google4Honest and professional. I requested an estimate and was happy with the quote. I went ahead with the new door install and couldn't be happier. The gentleman who installed the door was quite efficient and had great attention to detail. He was also happy to answer any questions I had and even offered some tips and advice regarding proper door operation moving forward. I would highly recommend this company for your garage door needs.

Google5I heard a loud noise when my wife left for work this morning and found that the cable & spring to our garage door broke. Called Rob and he had a crew in the area and they were able to fix the door before my wife got home from work today. Great fast service at a fair price. Anyone who needs service on their doors should call Rob Gagne's Overhead Door.

Google5I tried to adjust my garage door myself and made matters worst. I called Rob and explained to him what I had done. He came over within an hour and fixed what I messed up so that I could open and close the door. I had planned on replacing the door next year so l asked Rob for an estimate. I found the estimate to be lower than I had anticipated so I told him to do ahead and order the door. He came over in a couple of weeks and installed it. It's a dood quality door and the installation is very professional. I would highly recommend Rob to anyone who needs overhead door service or installation

Google5We bought a garage door from Rob six years ago, and had problems with a broken wheel (caster?) a few years later. He came right away to fix it, and to readjust the positioning of the door's rails. But he wouldn't take any money for his trouble. This morning a wheel broke again. (Possibly the same one.) So I phoned Rob. He arrived a few hours later, and replaced the wayward wheel (and an adjacent one) with commercial-grade wheels. The rails seemed straight to him, so his diagnosis was that the manufacturer's wheels weren't strong enough to manage the heavy door. But, he continued, "If it happens again, I'll try adjusting the rail slightly downward." I commented that after 6 years, the door was certainly no longer under warranty. (So I owed him money, right?) But again, he wouldn't take my money. Now THAT'S what I call standing behind your work!
