Yelp5Fenton was easy to deal with to fix an old garage door that couldn't be locked. The tech also replaced a rusting handle without me asking, which was great.

Google5Fenton Garage door Inc are total professionals who know their craft. They even installed safety cables on my doors which I knew nothing about. My experience was they went above and beyond with my garage door project. On time, very fast and no nonsense. Thanks Guys

Google5There service was great there work was excellent but that just one small part of this rating. Bobby's honest was a big deal,he came by and gave me a quote and a month more or less went by and I called him on the 12th and he squeezed me in on the 13th of October 2021 and the repair he made on the door was as good as NEW he NEVER tried to sale me a new door he worked with what the SITUATION WAS and he's got a customer for as long as he puts his boots on and goes out and does this. And I thought the price was more then he quote me and when he got to his office and saw the price he corrected me. Honesty, so when someone walks that path in business the money and the work will come to his door. And he's got a sense of humor, I said do u do anything else other then the garage doors maybe doors and windows he said let me get this garage door thing down 1st and then we'll c. Mission accomplished, Andersen u better watch your back. Bobby's coming.

Angi5I'm going to paste my review from another site here for this company. Fenton installed my garage door a few years ago and did a great job at a very fair price. With that said, here's my review of our most recent interaction: Things have been a little stressful lately around here. We're renovating, and haven't had a kitchen or one of our bathrooms for a few weeks. Yesterday, we discovered termites, and had to tear down a chunk of our house. We certainly didn't need a broken garage door added to the mix, but tough noogies. It went up and fell right down. It's been a few years since Fenton installed the door, but I called them. The man who answered said he'd be by WITHIN THE HOUR! AND HE WAS! After a minute or so of observation, he told me my door and opener were fine. The release handle pull had gotten snagged on something and released the door. He told me to secure it or remove it, which I did. I didn't weep or hug him, because guys, but I really needed that win today. A fist bump later, he was on his way. It's great to know that honesty, know-how, and courtesy are alive and well in Brooklyn, because that's where I need it. I bet they will go where you need them, too! Yelp5This Garage Door Installer is one of a kind! They communicate with the customer with every step of the install. They arrived on time, they brought every piece of equipment and parts to install my garage door in one shot. They picked up every piece of debris that was taken down, (old garage door), no nails, screws, wood pieces left behind. They professionally installed a new frame, rails, door, opener and capped the exposed wood frame and moldings. They explained everything to me before departing and said to call with any questions. The price is well worth the piece of mind in having a well installed door and opener. I highly recommend them!

Yelp5When I decided to replace my old and dilapidated garage doors, of a garage built in 1919, I got two estimates from salesmen that pointed out that my doors were of different sizes, and would require custom doors that would cost more; the framing was also a problem as the doors were misaligned, and not level; and there might be spaces at the bottom due to issues with my concrete. When I decided to fix the framing issue first, I called my contractor who referred me to Richie Fenton. Richie recommended he do a total reframing so that the doors would both be the same sizes and would be level. He said he would cap the area around the garage to avoid future painting and he didn't think the concrete was an issue, but would fill all areas as needed. He also suggested we get black doors which would look great on a white background, pictured below (which we LOVE!). While the total cost was a bit more than we had planned, the work that was done was amazing. Richie arrived on time and worked efficiently alongside two other men, and did a great clean-up, removing our old doors and everything else. He installed a keypad (pictured behind the basketball pole), with also remote control entry. The doors are super light and attractive and we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Fenton Garage Doors!

Angi5If you need your Garage door fixed or replaced the only place to go is Fenton. Richie and his guys arrived at the time they said, started work immediately and did a superb job. They were fast, thorough, and new exactly what to do. When the job was over they cleaned up so beautifully you wouldn't know they were there. On top of everything else they were gentleman and explained everything they had done. I highly recommend Fenton. Services Rendered: New Garage Door

Yelp5I called on Saturday for a problem I was having with the door not always going down. Not an emergency call. They arrived 8:30AM on Monday. Rob and Anthony were courteous, professional and friendly. Took care of the problem in under 30 minutes. Their fee was reasonable and fair. I am grateful for their repairs. Will definitely call them again if I have any problems

Angi5Anthony arrived early and worked quickly to replace a cable that had frayed. He was super knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He and his helper even made sure everything was in good order, adjusted the settings and remounted one of my sensors before leaving. Price was reasonable but the service I received was even better. Angi5If I could give Richie higher than A I would. I had kind of an emergency: we have an 80 year old house with its original garage door- wood, very heavy and very temperamental. I had it open to get all my gardening stuff out, and it came flying back down and I couldn't budge it. It's early spring, and any gardener knows it's prime time- you gotta start getting those plants in the ground. So I needed help right away. We called Richie last Saturday. It's the following Saturday and voilà, we have a new sturdy, light garage door that doesn't kill us to open and close. Richie charged nothing for the consultation, the price for the door and installation was very reasonable, and Richie saved both my back and my garden. Services Rendered: Garage door replacement

Yelp5Fenton Garage Doors is literally second to NONE! I was in a real bind when my garage door was broken into, got a few quotes, did my homework, and went with Richie at Fenton Garage Doors.. It was the best decision I could have made as far as the work, honesty, and promptness. Any of us who has had ANY work done on or in our house knows that people say they will be there at a certain time and never show up, or give you an estimate and the price changes drastically. NOT WITH FENTON GARAGE DOORS! When they tell you they'll be there for a quote, they will be there! When they tell you when the work will be done, IT WILL BE DONE!! Of all the work I've had done; Richie, Bobby, and Fenton Garage Doors were the company/contractors that I didn't have to think twice about. They're professional in every sense of the word, and I COULD NOT POSSIBLY RECOMMEND THEM HIGHER!!

Angi1The grounded prong on the cord for the garage door opener was removed. Mr. Fenton told me that is his usually practice. He wants to charge me to have someone come out to replace the cord. Work was sloppy. The blue wrapping was left on the garage door railing. The garage door windows were installed dirty. There are two dead bugs and cobb webs between the window and the window grill. There are fingerprints and built up dust around the finger prints on the windows. Services Rendered: Garage door and garage door opener installed

Angi5No complaints here. Fenton responded to my request in less than 15 mins. Richie knew exactly what my issue was just by the description of the problem. I was quoted and our door was fixed the very next morning. The gentleman who fixed the door was professional, quick and knew his doors.
