Google1Spoke with the owner didn't get his name but was very rude very unhelpful he said he could possibly help me out with a low price on a new storm door window if he had a used one in his shop but he said it was a waste of time for him to have one of his guys walk around the shop to see if they had something similar without a sample but yeah wanted me to drive 45 minutes to bring the frame out to him just totally rude and not a help at all ended up hanging up on me worst service ever

Google5We bought 3 different sliding screen doors from 2 diff. Big box stores. NONE of them fit our door.Torrington sash and door made it happen .Joe was great,and the guy who installed the screen was fast and very nice .Would definitely go back for anything we need for our new home .Thanks again!

Google1I see Joe, the OWNER, has given other people problems as well. After giving a quote for a porch door, we called back to schedule and they acted like they forgot who we were, said "oh we don't do doors". so you don't do doors at torrington sash and DOOR??! Completely unprofessional, the owner clearly doesn't know his own name, rude, acted like doesn't want any business. Pretty dumb, for a business. Said "im not the one you talked to" , even though I have a voice-mail from him, proving that it was him. DUMB. Don't waste your time if your order is anything under $120. Money is money. I would give zero stars if I could.

Google1I am giving them one star because we had them install two storm doors for us at our previous house and the installer does beautiful work. However, zero stars for my most recent experience at our new house. Joe came out to give us a quote because we wanted to install a door with a dog door and instead handed us a catalog for something we could install ourselves. He did not want anything to do with the work and when I called a few weeks later to ask a question about the order I placed from the catalog he was judgemental, unhelpful and told me he did not have time to help me because he had other work and proceeded to hang up the phone. Such a shame because the gentleman who actually does the work does a beautiful job, however Joe has an attitude as if he could care less about whether or not he has your business. We were repeat customers and this would have been the 3rd door we hired them for. Absolutely will never contact this business again.

Google5We had purchased replacement windows from Torrington Sash and Door 24 years ago. Recently they needed a minor adjustment. Called Joe, he sent someone down the next day. His employee, John, was able to make the adjustment perfectly. John was professional and knowledgeable and provided us with some tips on how to handle the window adjustment if it should happen again. He also brought back to the shop two screens that needed to be re-screened for us. We received a call back the next day that the screens were done and ready for pick up. Amazing turn around time even if it is not yet "screen season". Great company to do business with even though 24 years had past since we last did business with them. Thank you Joe and John!

Google5I recently had Torrington Door and Sash refurbish two storm doors that are the main entrance to my breezeway. The doors were in pretty bad shape considering they were original to my 1940 cape. They did an amazing job, they look new right down to the vintage hardware which includes a really cool doorbell that now works perfectly! Highly recommend - Thank you for an awesome job!
