Over the last 10-11 months, we tried to work with Hometown Garage Doors for new garage doors. After paying a substantial deposit of nearly $20,000, we thought our doors had been ordered in July 2023. To our surprise, we find out in November 2023 from the contractor that we were working with that Hometown never ordered our doors. As best we can tell, Jason, the owner, just used our money to run his company and never ordered our doors. Hometown gave our contractor some lame excuse that they faxed our order to the garage door manufacturer, and our order was lost. Fax machines went the way of the dinosaur in the 1990's. So, if Hometown is still using fax machines, this is reason enough not to do business with them. Furthermore, Hometown never followed up with the manufacturer regarding our order so you can see how disorganized they are. After an embarrassing and frustrating experience dealing with Hometown, our contractor fired Hometown and gave me my deposit back. Our experience with Hometown is best described as a disaster. I would highly advise NOT using Hometown Garage Doors. The owner appears to be dishonest, not reputable and, at best, highly disorganized.

We run a construction company and used them to do our garage door they did a good job, we recommended them to a neighbor when they were building a house they never finished that job completely they are still waiting on a part. We used them on a house that we were building for a client 2 weeks after installing it the bracket broke, we have called them several time and have left several text messages over a 3 week period and keep getting told that they will put us on the schedule and never do I think this will be the last time we use them and recommend them.

Tried calling for a week and even left a few text messages to the number they mention on their phone. Couldn't leave an actual phone message as their mailbox was always full. They came highly recommended by family but now have a change of heart. With bad customer service, they will not be recommended by me. Ended up going with USA Garage Doors LLC. They answered my call and came out that day to fix it. Very friendly and professional

Great experience with this company coming out to replace the springs that broke on my garage door. The easiest way to reach them was through text messages, and they responded quickly and got us taken care of. If we ever have any issues in the future, we'll go through this company and refer others to them as well.

If you are looking for a garage door company that stands behind their work, Hometown Garage Doors is not the one. When our brand new door and opener was installed, they did not have the weatherstripping but said they would return the following week to install. Fast forward a few weeks we started having issues with the door opening/closing smoothly (and still no weatherstripping). After multiple contact attempts it was clear they do not stand behind their work and refuse to communicate after they collect their payment.

I have first American home warranty insurance and they assign Hometown Garage Doors LLC to fix my garage. The technician was very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. He came and fix my garage and since "knock on wood" I don't have any issue with it. Thanks for taking extra care and fixing it for me.

Really great and prompt service! Our garage door stopped working Monday night, I called the following morning and someone came out the same day to look at it, and then by that Wednesday, we had a new operator, track, and the clickers/openers installed! Pricing was very reasonable too! Will definitely use them for future services!

I called on Monday morning for help with my garage door. Eric was here within the hour and found that the spring was broken. They called on Tuesday morning to make the repairs, but I was going to be gone all day. Eric called first thing on Wednesday morning and he and Bud were here within 15 minutes. The repairs were made within 30 minutes. They also replaced the seal at the bottom of the door and sprayed all the runners, rollers and hinges. When they left, my garage door was whisper quiet. They were both so helpful and very polite. They were very knowledgeable and are an asset to the company. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to anyone.

These guys are great! Second time they've rescued me. And, I think its awesome that I got the same tech twice. (Nice guy. Professional. Knows his craft.) I would, and will recommend them to anyone.(single female with a reasonably high IQ) I never once felt fear, sensed b.s., or had a concern or worry. These guys are salt of the earth. Honest, trustworthy, experts (in my opinion) in their field... and, lioking to make an honest living- not get rich. (And, trust me - being an aged single female - I consulted family & friends. And came out below what was perceived as, acceptable.) I'm grateful, and more than happy. Price, job, tech... really wish I had his name, to sing his praise. (The dude is awesome. Completely a pro, yet, personable and kind.) Seriously? If you live in Crestview - seek and hold out, if you must. You'll get more than expected, and certainly, better service and comfort than expected.

Love em and use em! I came across these guys when I was a supervisor with a local builder. They were always quick and performed a great job. I am no longer with that builder but continue to use Hometown Garage for our personal and investment properties. They are one time and fair on prices. If you need any garage door installation or maintenance this is your man.

They missed two scheduled appointments. First time, they contacted the day after to say they got tied up. Second time, didn't show and have heard nothing from them. Not worth my time to keep trying to reschedule and waiting for them not to show. Services Rendered: Was supposed to get a garage door tune-up, but I never got the work done.

Everything went very well. The installer arrived on time and completed the installation in about an hour. The new garage door opener is much quieter and more safe with the rolling code technology. Services Rendered: Installed a LiftMaster 8355 garage door opener with keypad and two wireless remotes with rolling code technology.
