Google5I was having garage door issues in Charles Town, and I went looking for a garage door servicer without any direction. I found several operations, but I chose to go with the more local guy, the Door Guy. In return I received excellent, prompt service, from an expert in his field. With great communication, we arranged to have the work done the day after I called. He diagnosed the root of my problem quickly, explained it to me simply, and even pointed out a few other potential issues he could tidy up. He quoted me a fair price and got to work. Within an hour, he was finished and my garage door operated like a dream, better than we've ever known. This is not just a garage door servicer, this is my Door Guy moving forward. I highly recommend Tom, if you're looking for a garage door specialist.

Google5When our garage door spring broke we found TheDoorGuy with a google search. Tom returned our call within minutes even though he was out of town. He gave us a price over the phone and took care of our door as soon as he got back in town. His prompt service and outstanding work were top notch!

Google5We had a great experience with this company. My fiance and I had a broken spring on our garage door which one of our cars were inside and we weren't able to get the door opened due to the spring. We called this gentleman and he was very efficient and eager to help with the problem in the same day. We definitely recommend reaching out to this company if something like this happens to you! I will definitely be referring others!

Google5Garage spring broke the morning of Black Friday and I was really worried I wouldn't be able to find someone to fix it. Cathy and Tommy were so helpful and came to fix the door spring a couple of hours later! I was so happy with their work and absolutely recommend using them!

Google5Had a torsion spring blow apart on me Monday night, I called The door guy the next day and unfortunately it went to vmail, but Tommy called me back in about 10 minutes. So leave a vmail! I explained I needed a replacement spring done, and after a few questions, texting some photos, he determined that the one spring I had wasn't enough, and even quoted me a price over the phone. Showed up the next day ONTIME! Did the springs, found a frayed cable, and serviced the rest of the door. Runs quieter and smoother. Same flat rate he quoted (very reasonable) and was pleasant to work with. His wife collecting payment over the phone was equally pleasant to work with. WOULD RECOMMEND!!!

Google55/5 stars for sure! I reached out to Tommy in desperation. My garage door had broken right after listing my home for sale. I had the first open house scheduled for Saturday. It was two days away and my realtor really wanted me to have the door fixed by then. Tommy asked for a few pictures of the door and broken spring. He got back to me immediately about what needed to be done to fix the door and what it would cost. We went back and forth on schedules but couldn't find anything that worked for both of us for him to get to the house. He finally wrote back and told me he could move things around in his schedule and come Saturday morning to have the door fixed before the open house. I was so grateful. Sure enough he showed up, fixed exactly what the issue was and called me to to the garage to explain everything. He showed me the problem, what he did to fix it and even showed several times how it now operated. I mentioned that the door he worked on sounded a lot less squeaky. I told him I wished the second one sounded like that. He laughed and took it upon himself to head to his truck and grab some good ol WD40 to spray my second garage door (one he had nothing to do with). Low and behold my second garage door sounded just as smooth as the newly fixed one. Tommy didn't have to rearrange his schedule to fit mine, and he didn't have to spray my second garage door, but he did. He went the extra mile and was so knowledgeable that I have kept his information to give to the next owners of the house for them to use him as well. When he handed me the bill, it was exactly what he told me it was going to be when he quoted me over the phone. His wife Cathy later called me so I could pay the bill with my credit card and she was just as lovely to talk to! Tommy and Cathy, thank you both for running such a great business here in the community! I appreciate you and will always return to you guys for my garage door needs!!! I will also add that I got a quote from another garage door service company and the lowest package they quoted was over $300 more than what Tommy charged me. May God bless you guys & your business!!!

Google5Highly recommend him! Hey y'all! We had an issue with our garage last night. The torsion spring broke and we were unable to open the garage. Apparently, it's supposed to have two torsion springs on it but the home builder only installed one. I called "The Door Guy" this morning and he came and fixed it a few hours later. He was quick, efficient, and professional. Highly recommend him!
