Initial issue was a wiring issue with the safety switch. We opened and closed the door enough that the capacitor actually caught on fire (13 year old opener). Ended up being better value to replace the opener. One spring was starting to stretch so decided to replace those as well. Then they noticed that the other door had a broken spring and that we could add that now and avoid a service call charge, so we added that to the scope too. Their workmanship is top quality. The one watchout is pricing - the price ended up $100-125 more than I was expecting based on difference of what labor / service charge was being included. I was verbally given a price for the first set of springs that was from the prior year pricing, which was only $5/spring different - not a big deal. The issue came in when we added the second door's springs replacement. The verbal indication I got was there wouldn't be a service call since they were already here and here was the charge for the spring. When the bill came it was $100-125 more than I expected. When I asked about this, I was told this is what the office told him to charge. So they wouldn't honor what the people in the field had verbally quoted. I paid it and took it up with the office and was given background on all the things I had gotten that were extra from what they would normally charge (an extra opener, etc.). They said they'd follow up with the serviceman on communicating pricing better. Again, work was top-notch, but I'd recommend getting written pricing before the work is done, especially when any changes come up to fully understand what they plan to charge you.
