Neal and his team were outstanding in listening to our needs and matching how we wanted a new garage door to compliment our home. Their recommendations helped us to make the right choices and we are thrilled with the results. Their attention to detail and follow up were AWESOME. The also saved us roughly 50% vs the home improvement stores in the area. They are the absolute best.

I have used Metro Overhead in the past, so the sticker for their company name and number was next to my opener. I needed photo eyes replaced on my door. The gentleman came out and did the the job in 15 minutes. But the issue was the service call of $169.00 plus of course the parts cost. I trusted this company because I used them in the past, but I made the mistake of not questioning the service charge when I scheduled the appointment. When I called and questioned Neil about the charge, his reply was things have doubled and tripled in the past few years. Not a good reply. 2022 was about 9%. I called another company that repair openers and their service call is $106.50. Lesson learned, question the service charge because they may not tell you upfront.

It went very well. The technician was patient in explaining how it worked. He also helped to get the other opener's keypad working. This was my second time using Metro Overhead and I would use them again, Services Rendered: Garage opener installed.

Tom was our technician and did an outstanding job from start to finish. He was running a little late from the previous job and called me to let me know he’d be slightly delayed (about 20 minutes) - thanks for communicating! Upon arrival he it was obvious the springs needed replacement which he quickly did. The biggest help was that our garage door opener was not operating correctly. We thought for sure we’d have to replace it. Tom discovered that the track had shifted out of alignment due to a change in the floor. This also resulted in the opener generating too much force when closing. After all of the final adjustments, the opener is working just fine and he saved me the cost of new one (at least for now - it is more than 10 years old). Very professional from start to finish, able to accommodate my short notice request (same day) and my final cost was cheaper than the other 2 phone estimates for replacing the springs. Initial issue was a wiring issue with the safety switch. We opened and closed the door enough that the capacitor actually caught on fire (13 year old opener). Ended up being better value to replace the opener. One spring was starting to stretch so decided to replace those as well. Then they noticed that the other door had a broken spring and that we could add that now and avoid a service call charge, so we added that to the scope too. Their workmanship is top quality. The one watchout is pricing - the price ended up $100-125 more than I was expecting based on difference of what labor / service charge was being included. I was verbally given a price for the first set of springs that was from the prior year pricing, which was only $5/spring different - not a big deal. The issue came in when we added the second door's springs replacement. The verbal indication I got was there wouldn't be a service call since they were already here and here was the charge for the spring. When the bill came it was $100-125 more than I expected. When I asked about this, I was told this is what the office told him to charge. So they wouldn't honor what the people in the field had verbally quoted. I paid it and took it up with the office and was given background on all the things I had gotten that were extra from what they would normally charge (an extra opener, etc.). They said they'd follow up with the serviceman on communicating pricing better. Again, work was top-notch, but I'd recommend getting written pricing before the work is done, especially when any changes come up to fully understand what they plan to charge you. Here's the deal, don't waste your time with other companies. I had Metro Overhead out twice now and not only were they affordable, but the technician took the time to show me everything as well as give me pointers in the future. I called them at 9AM and they were in my driveway by 930AM and fixed my garage door by 10AM. Who does that? If you get Tom as your technician you will be in good hands. Thanks so much guys!

Our garage door was in terrible shape. Metro Overhead made the entire process quite painless from start to finish. They were extremely professional and very responsive to our needs. Our door was stuck and we had the entire process completed in much less time than I expected. They worked around our availability and were both friendly and helpful no matter how many questions we had. The price was even less than we expected since our door was old and even the tracks had to be replaced. I wouldn't call anyone else for garage service! Services Rendered: New garage door, opener and complete installation.

Do not hesitate to call Metro Overhead. A person answered the business phone, listened to the problem on a Saturday, gave me an estimate for the work advising that both springs should be replaced not just the one that broke. Repairman arrived on time - friendly - efficient - got the job done and charged what was quoted. When finished he checked over the entire working of the door. EXCELLENT! Almost impossible kind of business to find this day. I will refer others and will call this company without hesitation in the future. Sally W.

Fantastic! Juan & Nick were fast, efficient, friendly, knew exactly what they were doing. We live 30 mi out from Metro yet the cost was at least 1/3 less than what had been quoted by others. Would highly reccomend the company & these two workers for your garage door needs. It was heavy work, replacing springs & doing needed adjustments in temp of 100deg in garage. Thanks guys...you are the best

One of my tension springs broke on our door over the weekend. I called first thing Monday morning and they had a guy out by 8am the same day. Nick was the service guy. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He fixed the issue along with a couple other things he noticed but didn't not charge extra for those which I appreciate. Would definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Both the springs on our garage door was broke today. I called Terry about 7:45 pm (just before their closing time at 8 pm) and he was on his way to home. He asked me to stop by tomorrow morning as he was working from 6:30 am. Upon my request he showed up in few minutes and fixed our garage door today. We highly recommend Terry and his team.

Our dual springs broke on our garage door. The springs were rated at 10,000 cycles and lasted nine years, so it was normal wear. I sent an email -with pictures- to Terry, who I used in 2013 from Angie's List with high recommendations. He wrote me a nice email to explain what went wrong and what needed repair, plus gave me a quote (with a discount) since I was a repeat customer. A day later everything was fixed and good to go. We were very pleased and give high recommendation.
